I will recommend Spradley Barr to anyone looking for a Ford or any other vehichle for that matter. Additionally Scott in finance was a tremendous help and took as much time as we needed to makde decisons. I drove by Spradley Barr and noticed the prettiest Mustang GT on the lot. I have always wanted one so I finally stopped in to go for a test drive. Alex was great as far as his knowledge of all of the technical aspects of the car as well as all of the different options that came with the car. I didn't buy it on the first drive, but he wasn't pushy about me buying the car. I did go up about six weeks later for another test drive and decided to buy it. I didn't feel pressured at all, and Napoleon Gibson who works in the finance department was also great to me...I don't need another new car for a long time, but I would for sure go back to the guys at Spradley. My husband and I were looking for a new 2010 Mazda3 hatchback in Celestial Blue for our 18-year-old son who will be going off to college in a few months. I wanted a reliable, safe car for him more than anything else. We started our search in Colorado Springs where we live, and the customer service at Bob Penkhus was terrible. The salesman was indifferent to us and almost rude on occasion. They gave us a car to test drive that was dirty, low tire pressure, and on empty. We said "no thanks" and looked elsewhere. I did an internet search for the car and found Spradley Barr had one. I initiated contact through e-mail, and we had purchased our new car within 24 hours. The process was wonderful, and I really felt like they valued our business. That's the way I like to be treated when I am spending twenty thousand dollars! I will recommend this dealership in a heartbeat, and I have already done so twice already. We will be looking for another new car in a couple of years for my husband, and I already know we will be starting with Spradley Barr. Sam and Shawn were fantastic! More
John Fischer was awesome!! He went way out of his way to help me. My credit is way less then perfect, he hooked me up with a program that could help me out. When he showed me the cars that he could do for me they didn't really jump out at me. I told him that I would think about it and get back to him. I called him like a week later about a car that was real cheap. John went out of his way to call me a couple days later about some more cars that he thought I would like, this led me to check the website again to look at a Ford Focus that he had told me about. I didn't like it but the one right below it WOW. John led me to the car that I have now. He is wonderful and will do anything to make YOU happy. I will recommend him to everyone I know. I have bought 2 vehicles from your dealership and have a great story to tell about how nice it is to work with your firm. Several months ago, my daughter (a recent C. U. nursing school grad)had been look great story to tell about how nice it is to work with your firm. Several months ago, my daughter (a recent C. U. nursing school grad)had been looking to buy a new car. She called me several times during the process and was getting very frustrated with the poor experiences and was at her wits ends dealing with "all of the rude and pushy sales people" at various Denver dealerships. She looks rather young although she is 24. Finally when she called me in tears over her frustration with people thinking she was not qualified and trying to push her into cars she didn't want, I asked what car she wanted most and she said a new Mazda 3. I said I had an idea. It was late in the evening when I called Spradley Barr. I told the story of my daughter in tears and told the gentleman I have had good experiences with your dealership and wanted the same for my daughter with her first new car. Low and behold the man was Mr. Barr himself!! He said they had many to choose from and had me speak with the Sales Manager, Rich Clark. Rich offered to help us personally to make sure my daughter would have a great car buying experience. Rich quoted me a price that was $3,000 less than the prices she had been told in Denver and promised that would be the price when we arrived. I drove to Denver to pick up my daughter the next day. We met with Rich, she picked the color and style and once she drove it she was "in heaven" We finished the paper work and she drove back to Denver so proud of her first new car and most importantly left after very comfortable and pleasant buying experience. I have worked with Paul twice now in a very short period and both have been great. I had bought a used 2000 Lincoln LS only 3 months ago and decided I wanted to upgrade to a 2006 LS V8 they had on their lo and both have been great. I had bought a used 2000 Lincoln LS only 3 months ago and decided I wanted to upgrade to a 2006 LS V8 they had on their lot (saw it online). I called Paul and told him what I wanted and asked if there was anything he could do for me. I was pretty skeptical as I had just bought the other car a few months ago and you're usually upside down for quite a while after a purchase. Paul worked out a VERY fair deal with me that basically worked out to a wash between the two cars (the 2006 being a bit more expensive of course). I may have paid a little bit for my impatience to get a V8 LS but it was minimal at best, and well worth it I might add! I would highly recommend dealing with Spradley and Paul in particular as he makes the experience both fair and simple (I walked in to the dealership at 5:30 and drove away in my new ride at 6:45, everything worked out over the phone for the most part). The only negative thing I'd ever say about the dealership is that their detail guys have a bit to learn about cleaning a car. They get it cleaned but I wouldn't call it detailed. I'm pretty picky though. More
