Kenny was excellent. Not only did he go out of his way to find a car that would work, he found me a car that I absolutely love. He had everything set up and pretty much ready to go for us when we came in to find a car that would work, he found me a car that I absolutely love. He had everything set up and pretty much ready to go for us when we came in. He is excellent at what he does. He tested me to find out what I really wanted and then found me the perfect car. Actually one that even both my husband and I love. Then we did have trouble with Scott Thomasson, and I do not like that man. He is extremely dishonest and just kept lying to us about everything. Three weeks after having the car and me trying to get ahold of Scott, he informed us that we needed $2500 down or we had to bring the car back, even though he had told us that he had it all taken care of with just my trade in. On and on the lies went after that. Then I was told by Kenny to talk to Shawn, so from there on out Shawn said that I could deal directly through him and he was great. He got everything sorted out. Our paperwork redone, and we were off. These two are great guys!! I will definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to buy a car. I will just warn them not to deal with Scott Thomasson. That guy needs to find a new job. I do also thank Tim Kruglet for having them right off the difference since Scott drug it out for so long. Overall, I would come back. At least to work with those 2 guys. More
First, I have to point out that I am very hard headed. In visiting car dealerships in the past, I have been constantly pushed by sales people to buy cars or trucks from them. They tell me "We have the best d visiting car dealerships in the past, I have been constantly pushed by sales people to buy cars or trucks from them. They tell me "We have the best deals so what can we do to get you into a new car today". This is one of my biggest pet-peeves. Let me take my time and when I am ready to buy, I'll buy on my terms. When I visited Spradley Barr Mazda in Fort Collins, I brought with me the attitude that everything will be on my terms. Upon first arrival, the flock of sales personnel came in attack mode. Kenny Bunch was the first one who reached me and instantly started to get to know my wife and I. This approach was something that caught me off guard, but openned me up a lot faster. Once Kenny and I were on a personal level, to were I felt like I was talking more to a friend than a sales person, he and I were able to work very well together in finding a vehicle for me. I did not buy from him on the first day because I wanted to look at the market a little more. He was more than supportive and said that if I found a car that I liked to give him a call and see what he could work out. This is exactly what happend. I found a car at another dealership that I liked and instantly thought of Kenny. The sales people at the other dealership were typical to my description above which turned me a blind eye to them. I called Kenny to see what he could to for me. A few hours later he called me back with the information on the same vehicle with less miles and more amenities. A few days later I went back into talk to Kenny, looked at the vehicle and as they say the rest is history. The finance department was a little rough to get through. My experience would have been a lot better if the staff in that department had what I call "True Customer Service". Communication was poor and I was constantly being called by them to come in and fill out more paperwork. At this point I was not thrilled. I know that it is hard to sit and push papers all day and be happy about your job, but do not let the client buying a vehicle see that on your face. Makes for a bad first impression. All in all, my experience was all around good. Kenny went above and beyond my expectations, and those are pretty high. He pulled more than his weight which made up for the finance people. Congrats to Kenny and I hope that your leadership rubs off on your co-workers. More
I contacted John Fischer after looking online at local dealerships. He responded to my email very quickly and then followed up with a phone call. He went to work right away trying to find a car that would dealerships. He responded to my email very quickly and then followed up with a phone call. He went to work right away trying to find a car that would be right for me. I thought that I wanted another SUV since I had driven my Lincoln Navigator for 10 years and loved it. Before that I had a Ford Aerostar so I was use to large vehicles. That happens when you have 3 boys over 6ft tall!! Well John found options for me to look at. However, when I got there I told him I had a rental car since my Navigator was not running. I had rented a Ford Fusion and had driven it for 2 days. I really liked the car a lot and the size was perfect for me. The boys are all grown so I really just needed a car that was lare enough for me to feel comfortable in but not as large as I was use to driving. John immediately started looking on the lot and found a Fusion for me to look at. He showed me all of the features the car had and the sync system was very impressive. I was convinced it was the car for me. John offered to show me other cars but I said no I really wanted the Fusion. I am very happy with my purchase and the service I had was outstanding. The dealership and everyone I came into contact with were great. Donna Close More

We worked with internet salesperson John Fisher to purchase a Mazda CX-9 Touring with Bose/moonroof/liftgate pacakge. John was the first and only internet salesperson from a long list of dealers to ge purchase a Mazda CX-9 Touring with Bose/moonroof/liftgate pacakge. John was the first and only internet salesperson from a long list of dealers to get us a quote on the vehicle we wanted in the configuration we wanted. He worked with us to get what I think was a great price. He also did the best he could on our trade in.. though I do see it being listed on their website for nearly $7,000 more than we accepted.. but that's ok as I feel the value we got was fair and it is not my business what price they want to advertise it at. John and Spradley Barr Ford/Mazda properly handled the rather significant problem of the car we bought being late for delivery. We had been told it would arrive early the next week after we signed the papers. That turned into the next week.. then the week after that. We were concerned as we had already purchased the required insurance and were receiving payment books in the mail. I won't go into detail.. but John and Spradley Barr compensated us for the almost month we were without our new car in a most fair and acceptable manner. Kenny from Mazda sales delivered the car.. and he was great as well. Everyone we dealt with including the finance manager Napoleon were extremely friendly and pleasant to be around. I'm going to spread the word about Spradley Barr and encourage friends/co-workers to check them out for a satisfying car buying experience. More
This is the 3rd time I have purchased a vehicle from Spradley Bar, Kenny was helpful and very easy to work with, he spent most of three days with me looking at quite a few cars, I never once felt like Spradley Bar, Kenny was helpful and very easy to work with, he spent most of three days with me looking at quite a few cars, I never once felt like he was trying to hurry me in making my decision, he gave straight a forward answers to the questions I had, and if he didnt have the anssers he was on the phone getting them. June 25 2010 my wife and I agreed to buy a used vehicle from Spradley Barr in Fort Collins. The first week of August, the car went into my local shop for warranty repair - and because the car was making a from Spradley Barr in Fort Collins. The first week of August, the car went into my local shop for warranty repair - and because the car was making a noise, we had the issue researched...turns out, the vehicle that was originally sold and serviced approx 1 mile from Spradley Barr, was in a major collision and repaired prior to being sold at Spradley Barr. When I bought the vehicle, the carfax and autocheck showed 'clean' - not the case. Because the vehicle was in for service almost the entire month of August - 2 different service managers advised "go back to Spradley Barr and make it right" - I took the vehicle back, explaining the situation to Nick Carestia, my original sales person - who brought in "AJ" to make things right - AJ abruptly left for a "family emergency" - and left me with "Chad" the other sales manager. Chad's response was simply "it's the old verbiage, sometimes a used car is someone else's problems" - and I was furious. Spradley's GARBAGE offer was almost $8000 less than they sold me the car for - less than 8 weeks prior. Would I venture back to Spradley Barr? No. Would I recommend Spradley Barr? No. I traded the care elsewhere - the damage done to the transmission was too extensive for me to pay for repairing. BE AWARE or simply BEWARE, WHEN VISITING SPRADLEY BARR. More
Greg was very knowledgable about the Mazda 5 that we purchased. He was very friendly throughout the whole sale. We had to return the next day so the service department could make sure all of the fluid purchased. He was very friendly throughout the whole sale. We had to return the next day so the service department could make sure all of the fluid levels were full. Greg was waiting for us as soon as we arrived and very friendly again. He answered all questions we had. I would recommend Greg to others when buying a Mazda. More
We went into the dealer (Spradley Barr) and looked at a particular truck and got the 'lowest' possible price from Paul. The next week I went in after getting confirmation that the price was still good for particular truck and got the 'lowest' possible price from Paul. The next week I went in after getting confirmation that the price was still good for the SAME truck. Paul assured me he could sell it to me for that amount. So, we went in to purchase the truck. As we sat down to go over the details and process paperwork Paul informs me that it will cost an additional $250 because the windows were tinted but not in the original amount we agreed on. This was at the VERY last minute he tried to weasel more money out of us. Typical car salesman ethics. After showing my displeasure of such a low-ball last minute attempt, he said he could sell the window tint to me for cost....which was still $125. I saw right through it and walked out to have him chase me down as I was getting into my vehicle to say "The manager AJ said he would cover it". This is why I highly highly recommend you stay AWAY from that facility and sales team. More
