The truck I came in to look at was already sold, and Seth was very helpful suggesting an alternative. He was very knowledgeable, particularly about a non-Ford that had only been on the lot a day. Working wit was very helpful suggesting an alternative. He was very knowledgeable, particularly about a non-Ford that had only been on the lot a day. Working with him to get a fair price and a fair trade it was easy. I didn't feel pressured at all. We had a lot of time to spend waiting for the finance manager, and from our conversations during that time it was evident that Seth was very knowledgable and readily able to answer all my off the wall questions about various Fords and aspects of trucks in general. Even better, I'm very happy with the truck I bought - his suggestion was accurate! More
We have bought 3 cars in 20 years so needless to say we are not salesman savvy. I now understand "buyer beware". We went into Spradley Barr to look at trucks and were treated patiently, test drove 3 different vehicles but liked a top of the line vehicle. We were taken in, given coffee, and then the games began. We kept asking to be alone, but Kevin would only give us 3 minutes tops. He kept saying things like "it's only $5 bucks", "your friends will be jealous", "lets just get this over with". We admit we were sucked in, we even told him this is too much truck for us, but the intimidation got us. After the papers were signed, we noticed the high tech truck had no owners manual. Kevin said we could download it online, we asked "only one key"? he said "yup, this vehicle only has one". He said they were going to detail the truck, but there was still dog hair throughout. We should have walked back in right then, but had to pick our son up from drivers-ed and be back in Estes. My husband called Kevin about the manual, Kevin said we could order one for $40 online. Then we are heading back to Estes and notice the tank is on EMPTY! I mean COME ON! We also got home and found that the bed of the truck has damage to the rim of the bed that is covered by the bedliner but is bad enough we couldn't put a topper, camper or anything that has to fit on the rim of the bed! Our contract shows a delivery fee $500, the truck was bought and traded in at THIS dealership. I found previous owner trash in the center console. We tried to program the keless entry but can't without the manufacturers original code (we had to look this up on line to find out we have to call the dealer to get it). This is one of those little details a dealer knows but they had our signature and that's all they cared about. We ended up paying $44000 for a truck with a jacked up bed, tons of bells and whistles we have to look up on-line to find out how to use, one key for a family of 5, and basically a feeling of being screwed without even being kissed. Puchasing a new vehicle has not always been a pleasant experience for us. Typically, the process has been very time consuming and frustrating. After the test drive, the negotiations begin, and all too often it appears that the dealer's tactic is to wear the customer down until the customer gives in. (Price given, then a counter offer, then talk to the sales manager, etc. etc.) Our recent experience with Spradley Barr was relatively pleasant. We knew what we wanted and had a very good idea as to what our trade was worth, so there was very little back and forth. We made what we thought was a fair offer and the sales representative (Kenny Bunch) listened . We did not have to haggle. One adjustment was made to the trade-in value, and we had an agreement. This left us with a very positive feeling about Kenny and the sales team as well as with Spradley Barr in Fort Collins. More
Kenny Bunch did an excellent job of being the go-between assigned to work with us when the Sales Manager chose to blow off an appointment he had made with us, after a terrible experience we had with Service assigned to work with us when the Sales Manager chose to blow off an appointment he had made with us, after a terrible experience we had with Service. We were insulted by the first two offers made by the Sales Manager for the trade-in of a previous vehicle we had purchased just over one year earlier, when we were baited-and-switched on the supposed Cash for Clunkers offer. The purchase negotiation process took WAY too long, especially given that we had a one-year-old with us, and we finally had to agree to come back the next day to close the deal. Again, let me emphasize that Kenny did an excellent job of representing us and our concerns ... it is the Sales Manager and Spradley Barr in general that we were disappointed with. More

It was a tremendous pleasure to work with Paul when purchasing our new Flex. I had met Paul several years earlier at a commercial vehicle event. Working with fleet sales folks at my employer, it seemed appropriate to work with a commercial sales person for my own vehicle purchase. Not only was Paul completely thorough in his knowledge, but remained super professional while still being friendly. I have never received so much appreciation when working on a car deal. Thanks, Spradley-Barr for having Paul Philips on your staff. I refer anyone that I talk to that is looking for a vehicle to your dealership and strongly urge them to talk to Paul for a respectful, pleasant, straight forward experience. More

From that point foward he continued to put forth his due diligence making sure that at the end of the day I left a happy and satisfied customer with a new vehicle. I rated my overall experience "OK" not due to Terri's efforts as a salesman, but due to the difficult time I had securing financing for the vehicle I chose. It was a nervous experience knowing that i signed the title to my trade in over and didn't have financing lined out for another week. In the end everything worked out and I am pleased with Spradley Barr's professionals and my new Ford truck. Thanks, Bob More
