The team at Spradley Barr and the engineering and design of my new Edge delighted me and built up a huge reservoir of good will toward the dealership and what seems to be a New Ford Motor Company. Until one of my new Edge delighted me and built up a huge reservoir of good will toward the dealership and what seems to be a New Ford Motor Company. Until one morning when I was drying off my new $795 chrome clad wheels and realized they were not real chrome wheels but instead about $40 worth of JC Whitney plastic hub caps. I was mad. All the effort to create all that good will was drained away. I wanted to attach a picture of those wheels to a brick with a note saying "What were you thinking?" and throw it through Mulally's office window. Figuratively speaking of course. Royce Glader More
My wife and I were very pleased with the entire process of purchasing a new Escape from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins. John Fischer immediately responded to my e-mail when I requested information abou of purchasing a new Escape from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins. John Fischer immediately responded to my e-mail when I requested information about the Escape. He gave me a quote within a few minutes. We set up a meeting time and were introduced to Mike Cook. Mike found the available Escapes in the area and we spent a lot of time talking about what features they had and what we needed. I have a canoe and required roof side rails on the Escape. We test drove an Escape with Mike and verified that my wife could easily drive it. She is not very tall and has problems in some cars. We determined that the electronically adjustable seat was something we wanted and decided to limit our search to the Escape XLT models. Mike and John searched the available Escapes and found a black one, our choice of color, that met our requirements. We were offered a price and what we would receive for trading in our Jeep Cherokee. The negotiations were handled in a forthright manner. Although we were prepared to pay cash, it was determined that we could save almost $1000 by getting a loan and then paying it off. Next we saw Napoleon Gibson who stepped us through the lengthy paperwork. He carefully explained everything we needed to sign. Napoleon helped us through the process. On Wednesday, we picked up our shiny new black Escape. Mike gave us a complete tour of the vehicle, explaining all the many features. Our Escape has been running great and is very enjoyable to drive. The Sirius radio has an enormous selection of music and other programming. We now need to get a blue tooth phone to use the Sync. The entire experience was great and we have a really nice new SUV. This was our second new car purchasing experience with Spradley Barr in Fort Collins and also our second with our salesman - Nick Carestia. Each time, my wife and I were treated very courteously and prof Spradley Barr in Fort Collins and also our second with our salesman - Nick Carestia. Each time, my wife and I were treated very courteously and professionally. The negotiation process when trading vehicles is never a pleasant one, but we felt we were given a fair trade value for our vehicle and an equally fair price on the new one. We would recommend Spradley Barr to others. Thanks, Rod More
Kenny did a great job and I felt I had made a new fried by the end of my purchase The only negative thing I can say is that the dealership only had two finance people working and it took 2-3 hours for all by the end of my purchase The only negative thing I can say is that the dealership only had two finance people working and it took 2-3 hours for all of the customers to be taken care of and I had to go to a different shop to get the finance done instead of the location I purchased the Truck. My wife and I have just completed our second new vehicle purchase in the last 9 months from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins with sales person Nick Carestia. Our first purchase was a new 2010 escape, and purchase in the last 9 months from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins with sales person Nick Carestia. Our first purchase was a new 2010 escape, and the second was a new 2010 F150 Lariat. Working with the Spradley Barr team was a pleasure. Nick was always professional, working with us to help us understand the options available and never pressured us to make a decision on the spot. Especially with the F150 purchase, Nick took a lot of time with me during our decision process. After the purchase, Nick spent a considerable amount of time explaining all the vehicle functions and warranty information and never seemed rushed eventhough he had already made the sale. After the sale, we met with the business office and that also was a pleasurable experience. No pressure there either to purchase options but listened to all our questions and took all the time necessary for our discussion. Overall a pleasure to work with the Spradley Barr team and especially Nick Carestia - without a doubt, we will visit this team again for our future vehicle purchases. Great work guys........... More
It was horrible I bought a 2005 Mazda6 in there and traded in my dodge ram 2500. They lied about what the car was worth they told me it was a steal at $13,959 and I looked on Kelley Blue Book and NADA traded in my dodge ram 2500. They lied about what the car was worth they told me it was a steal at $13,959 and I looked on Kelley Blue Book and NADA three days after buying the car and it's only worth $11,000 retail in excelent condition which it's not. It needs a paint job because there are a bunch of scratches and there are several dents that has to be pulled out and there are burns on the seat. I guess my bad for not checking the cars worth before buying but I didn't think a dealer this large would straight up lie. They were very nice until I caught them in a lie and then they instantly became very rude. When I test drove the car the salesman was talking the whole time and kept the radio cranked up so that I could not hear the noises the car was making. Driving it home I heard a banging noise under the car and a popping in the front in. When I called them about the problem the sales manager was very rude he said "well I dont know what can be done but I guess bring it in and I will look at it." They decided to fix the unsafe car that my four month old daughter had been ridding in but it would take them a week to get the parts in. The sales manager assured me they would call me on TUESDAY AS SOON AS THE PARTS CAME IN. I finally had to call they late THURSDAY and they told me the parts had been in so bring it on down. I drove thirty miles to drop it off only for them to tell me that they couldn't get it in until the earliest of Friday. I made an appointment to bring it in at 8 only for them to tell me when I brought it in that I had to find something to do until 9:30. So we waited and I spoke to a sales manager again who was extreamly rude and was inturupting my sister and talking over her. She was there because obviously by this point i just wanted to hit all these people. In all I traded in a safe amazing truck for a peice of crap car in attempt to save money on gas. I guess I learned my lesson Spradley Barr Mazda in Fort Collins, Colorado will lie cheat and steal!!! And then will be rude to you when they get caught. More

He went out of his way to get a small scratch fixed on the hood of my new vehicle after I had purchased it, he gladly game me a loaner car to use while I waited. He always had a smile on his face and after numerous phone calls, never made me feel like a nuisance. I will gladly return for any future purchases and recommend him highly to anyone in the market for a new car. Thank You. More
My husband & I stopped in to look @ what they had as option pkgs on the 2011 Edges-when John showed us a used vehicle they had gotten in. We were not really looking to buy @ the time but the used vehic option pkgs on the 2011 Edges-when John showed us a used vehicle they had gotten in. We were not really looking to buy @ the time but the used vehicle was a great find and after playing around with the numbers decided to get it. The whole experience at Spradley Barr was great--but what I really want to comment on is the character of John. We had never met him before-he was just the salesman who happened to pick us up. He was very friendly, knowledgable and polite, as a lot of salesman are but the 1 quality that stood out was he was HONEST. In the process of test driving the vehicle and negotiating etc everyone thought the vehicle had a feature on it, that after we got it home and tried to program it, was not there. We called John thinking it was operator error, and to have him talk us through it, but nope the vehicle really did not have the option. John admitted that he thought it had it, that being the "Limited" it should have and appologized for the miscommunication and he made it right. As many of you know, that is usually not the case--usually it is your word against the salesman-and they say they never told you that, etc--not the case with John. John stepped rightup and took responsibility period. I would recommend John, and I would go back to him in the future. Napoleon, the finance guy was great also--very fun to work with.
