I purchased a new Fusion through Mike Cook after I submitted an inquiry online with Ford. I have read that working with the internet sales department makes everything so much easier, and it did! Went to Spradley Barr to buy a new Ford F150. First contact was through the internet where I was able to spec out the vehicle I wanted and locate it at the Fort Collins location. Response from my inte contact was through the internet where I was able to spec out the vehicle I wanted and locate it at the Fort Collins location. Response from my internet request was very quick and Michael Cook got back to me on my questions with the information I needed to make a decision. Michael's followup was good and when I went out to look at vehicles he knew what I was looking for. All the people I encountered at the dealership were helpful and friendly. We were able to negotiate a deal on my purchase and trade that I feel is a good deal. I would definitely recommend Michael Cook and Spradley Barr in Fort Collins to anyone looking for a Ford vehicle and I will return to this dealership for any future needs. More

The listed price on the internet was $34k, the internet quote from Greg (Internet Salesman) was $33,595. The price posted on the vehicle itself was $32,995. When we wanted to purchase this vehicle, Greg quote from Greg (Internet Salesman) was $33,595. The price posted on the vehicle itself was $32,995. When we wanted to purchase this vehicle, Greg stated we are getting $3k off their price, which seems a bit untruthful. They kept telling us how much they had brought the price down on the vehicle, but the posted price on the vehicle itself does not agree with their statement. The vehicle was not detailed very well, as we have found gum on the carpet and gum wrappers in the pocket behind the passenger seat. Greg was not knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in. He was aware, prior to our visit, of the exact vehicle we were interested in, yet did not know the engine size and the trim package (Eddie Bauer edition)details. When we returned (2nd visit) for the purchase of the vehicle, Greg did not read the emails i had sent him regarding our credit union and their curent loan rates, nor did he read or use the information about our trade in vehicle and have that trade offer ready when we arrived. If a dealership is going to have an internet sales service or person, they should use their email as a tool to have details of a possible purchase ready before the customers arrive. The only reason we made this purchase was we could not find this type of used vehicle at any other dealers within acceptable driving distance. I would not recommend Greg or Spradley Barr to anyone looking to buya new or used vehicle. More
Joel Brown was a friendly and knowledgable salesman. He worked hard to discover my car needs and went above and beyond to find the perfect vehicle "fit". The end experience took far too long, and I was worked hard to discover my car needs and went above and beyond to find the perfect vehicle "fit". The end experience took far too long, and I was informed that it would be 1 hour; however 4 hours later the process was finally completed. It was 10:00 pm, the truck I purchased has NO gas (like 6 miles to empty) my son had not been fed dinner (which I would have done if I would have been told 4 v 1 hour process time). There were minor details about the purchase that were overlooked and this is disappointing to me; however I intend to return the truck with a list of neglected items so that SBF can fix them. The entire process of buying a vehicle really needs an overhaul. The bartering back and forth with the "hidden manager" is just so old school and filled with anxiety (if you let it) and mickey mouse crap. We are 12 years into the new milleneum; the internet is available at our fingertips on a continual basis allowing us to price shop and compare deals while we wait for a "managers" approval about the purchase price. When I was originally told that certain vehicle updates were included in the purchase price and then they became a part of the "bargaining" - I simply blew a gasket. A direct and strait-forward approach to buying a new/used vehicle would have made the expereince more pleasant for myself. SPF will get my continual business despite these concerns offered in the feedback you requested. I will be entirely pleased with my expereince after the minor deficits are resolved. Sincerely, Julie M. Deters (970) 231-4169 More
