I was actually looking to purchase a 2014 Mazda CX-5. I used USAA's car buying service- they sent me a few links to a few dealerships in the area... After talking with several dealerships- i felt that Spradley Barr Mazda was the best. Kenny replied to me via email quickly and efficiently. He was able to provide me with the vehicles they had avaliable and the best pricing for my trade in. I ended up driving 2 hrs from Colorado Springs to Ft. Collins just based on his honesty and customer service. I was in and out within a few hours. The finance manager- Scott was also amazing- very perfessional and courteous. They have been by far the BEST dealership i have ever worked with. I would recommend them to anyone. The local dealership here doesn"t even compare! More
Mike Keefe (Sales) and Scott Thomason (Finance) were both a pleasure to work with. Our salesman John B. was awesome. He only had been working there for 2 weeks and was very knowledgeable. He listened to ur wants and needs and set us up for the perfect fit, a 2013 Ford Fusion. I doubt that this review will make it to your website but I totally appalled by the truck you sold my grandson and his girlfriend. On March 3, 2013, they purchased a 2005 Dodge Truck that has litterly fallen apart. Spradley Barr has always had a good reputation and your dealership should be very ashamed. These two 20 and barely 21 year olds came in to buy a truck for my grandson's pipeline job in Texas. They didn't ask for a carfax and YOU should have given them. Obviously, your selesman, Dan, recognized how young and desperate they were. They arrived in Texas that Monday and by Wednesday, the truck would not shift. My grandson missed work and had to take it in for repair to a dealer in Amarillo. Thus, the repair shop found numerous problems and they are "growing" day by day. A speed sensor was replaced just so he truck would shift that day. At that time my grandson was told that the Rotors were cracked. The rotors are completely broken through. This is dangerous and causing the truck to shake. You people are idiots, to not have checked out this truck before "dumping" it on these kids. They were trusting of your salesman and at their young age, believe what they are told. They had a trade in and from my undrstanding, you raised the truck price so that you could take the nice Suburu trade in. What a joke! I know car dealers are sneaky and underhanded but this takes the prize. The air filter was disgusting and was changed immediately. This weekend they Center Carrier bearing was changed including rubber on drive shaft. Next, the U joints have to be replaced as well as the Rotors. Expense, expense, after expense. These kids were believed in your dealership and probably have learned a valuable lesson, not to ever trust Spradley Barr. I am so disappointed in your dealership.. I will post this daily until I see it on your website. I will also send it to every email address I can find. You should be ashamed. You should reimburse them for every repair they've had and Go Finance should not ever finance anything for you again! I am Fort Collins raised, worked there for many years and disgusted and will never recommend your dealership to ANYONE! More
I was looking to buy a new truck, was not in a rush and did a lot of shopping around. Once I had obtained a written quote which I felt was fair from another dealer, I came back to the local ones to see wh did a lot of shopping around. Once I had obtained a written quote which I felt was fair from another dealer, I came back to the local ones to see what they could do. Wanting to 'keep the business local', I gave this dealership's internet team a chance to match it. Randy said they would meet it, no problem. After him wasting my time for over a week following that, they then change their minds and say, 'Sorry, we can't meet that price'. To me, it's typical car salesman tactics of wasting your time, and in my opinion being downright dishonest. If you agree to something, then have the decency to stand by it. Otherwise, don't promise what you aren't willing to deliver. More
Randy made everything quick and simple. He listened to what we were looking for and found in the perfect match at a great price! He was so friendly and unlike any sales man we have ever encountered. what we were looking for and found in the perfect match at a great price! I took my son to find his first car, obviously challenging on a budget for a teenager. Randy was so incredibly patient, informative, and fun to work with. He took a lot of time to help us find j challenging on a budget for a teenager. Randy was so incredibly patient, informative, and fun to work with. He took a lot of time to help us find just the right one, and after spending time with us he knew exactly what my son wanted, and got it for him. My younger daugher was with us, and he made it such a great experience for all of us, she didn't even get cranky, even though we took up quite a bit of Randy's time. I felt from the first that I could trust him to get us the best price for the best and safest vehicle for my son. I will definitely recommend him to anyone that I know needs a car, and would tell anyone that he is great, and definitely worth going to if you are in the market. He is a very easy-going and relaxed and helpful person, and will make the experience as fun and relaxed as possible. He is real and not pushy, and I have no doubt that even if we didn't buy a car that night, he still would have left us happy and my son with a great first experience with a car dealership. I will definitely go to him for my next car, and wish I had for all of the previous one's I have bought at other dealerships! Thanks Randy! You're great! More
From the first phone call Kenny couldn't have been more helpful and patient. He showed me anything I wanted to look at and let me drive my choices. He worked with my limits and questions, and then S more helpful and patient. He showed me anything I wanted to look at and let me drive my choices. He worked with my limits and questions, and then Scott was patient and worked to get me the best deal financially that was possible. I enjoyed my experience and would certainly try to buy another vehicle from them. Thanks for all of the help. More
I searched for a truck online for about a week before finding a used 99 ford ranger with under 100k at Spradley Barr. Walked onto the lot and found the vehicle I was after. Did my usual pre-drive walk ar finding a used 99 ford ranger with under 100k at Spradley Barr. Walked onto the lot and found the vehicle I was after. Did my usual pre-drive walk around inspection and found absolutely nothing wrong mechanically or cosmetically. I was not approached by any sales staff by this time so I walked into the dealership. I was greeted by Shawn, who is probably the most laid back salesman I've ever met. No pressure, friendly and an honest guy. Took the truck for a test drive and found a few minor issues to repair, overall it drove perfectly. Very clean inside and out. Started up some paperwork, they showed me a car fax report free of charge, and informed me of the previous owner history (trade in for a super duty). I briefly met with AJ the sales manager, who was a bit more pushy (not at all really) than Shawn, and after he agreed to fix the above mentioned minor issues and absorb the dealer fee I started some paperwork with Cory in financing. Another great guy, super knowledgeable and searched for the best financing rate possible. All said and done I was at the dealer for about 2.5 hours. Not too bad in my opinion. I would definitely recommend Spradley for their sales side, haven't heard too many good things about the service side so I plan on using my regular mechanic for any repairs that may be needed. Buyer should ask for any repairs or promises in writing...it's a dealership folks, you should know the legal aspects of negotiation. Would've been nice to get a full tank o gas when I picked up my vehicle, but then I didn't ask for it. My fault! Overall a great experience with this dealership. I didn't rate the service side because I didn't and don't plan on using it. More
I had my 2012 Ford Escape (which I just purchased from you guys) in for its first service, and was surprised to see the mechanics in the Quick Lane Oil change chewing tobacco. I even saw one employee rea you guys) in for its first service, and was surprised to see the mechanics in the Quick Lane Oil change chewing tobacco. I even saw one employee reach into a tool box and get a can out and take a huge pile of it and put it in his mouth. He wiped the excess on his pants (which could get into peoples cars)The issue that really bothered me is the fact that they where spitting on the floor of the shop, and then getting in and out of my vehicle (with spit on their shoes and chewing tobacco on there clothes). I am very particular about my vehicle, and find this to be extremely disgusting and rude towards the customer. I approached a service writer to tell him about the situation, and he blew me off and said he could not do anything about it, he proceed to ignore me and got on the phone to make a call. I then went back and talked with the GM of your Dealership Mark, which assisted me with bringing the situation to the shop Manager. I watched as the shop manager approached the employees in the Quick Lane and they all looked back and stared at me, they where smirking and as the manager walked away I did not see any of them remove their chewing tobacco. At this time I am not very happy, and the fact that I purchased the service plan when I bought the vehicle makes me want a refund, which I have requested a refund and waiting for a response. I will never do service with your dealership again. Your Sales side is amazing and I will continue to buy cars, but your Service side is lacking in customer relations and respect and I will never come back. More
