Bait and Switch I was looking at a car for my roommate on the internet. I called and talked to Jim Dockery whom I have purchased vehicles from in the past. I've bough I was looking at a car for my roommate on the internet. I called and talked to Jim Dockery whom I have purchased vehicles from in the past. I've bought over six from them since 1997. The internet price had dropped so when I called Jim said they had hail damage so the price could be even lower. I get there, have to wait for Jim who is also selling a truck to somebody. Turns out this car was not hail damaged so all I kept hearing was how mad Mark Newendyke was to even think of letting the car go at the internet price. I felt like a bait and switch. Jim tried to push me into the sell that night and I said no and left. After stewing for a couple of days decided my roommate can get her own vehicle. i will have to deal with my lease vehicle next year but I doubt I will ever buy a vehicle from them again! More
Purchasing was great/service sucks Went in for an oil change and had a few things to get looked at with the new F250(Engine misfires during regen of the DPF system/ John did not even kn Went in for an oil change and had a few things to get looked at with the new F250(Engine misfires during regen of the DPF system/ John did not even know about the DPF system on the trucks). 5 hours later the service Manager came out and stated his suspension expert was not in, (I would need to set up an appointment) but my truck was out on a test derive....so extra miles put on my vehicle, and more time taken for ZERO results. After 6 hours, my oil change was done, they completed the pointless test drive and my tires were not rotated. More
OIl Change I have submitted one phone complaint and one negative dealer survey with no response. I can only assume this dealership no longer cares. At one time I have submitted one phone complaint and one negative dealer survey with no response. I can only assume this dealership no longer cares. At one time I was very happy with them and would have recommended them to others. After no responses to two complaints I can only assume new people must be running the show. I bought our truck in my partners name Rochelle Jones. Her email is txcowgrl58@yahoo.com and mine is kendobbs2010@gmail.com If you care about our business we need to hear from you. Recently we leased another car f My wife and I have purchased or leased a total of 4 vehicles from Spradley Barr. The first 3 experiences were decent. Recently we leased another car from there for my wife, and I was also in the market for a car for myself after mine was totaled. The experience leasing was not the greatest, and we felt like we weren't very valued. In the two months since leasing, we have become very frustrated with them. We started receiving phone calls from ford credit because they never paid off my wife's previous lease. Several calls were made to them about it, but we never received a call back from anyone. They finally took care of it, but no response from them at all. We will probably have to deal with a hit to her credit report for it. While trying to find a replacement for my totaled car, I also have had several frustrations with them. It took a lot of time and effort for them to refund my extended warranty for my old car. Also, in dealing with totaling my car, there was paperwork that I needed for the insurance claim that they never had me sign when I bought the car. It took them over a week to return my call about it. When I was ready to start looking for my new car, even though I pretty much knew what I wanted, no one wanted to put in any effort to sell me a car. I talked with three different sales people, and no one ever gave me a call back. Overall, everyone that we have dealt with there lately has been absolutely horrible. Don't bother trying to call them, it will take forever to get a response, if you get one at all. It has been some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced. More

Buy the car, take it somewhere else to be serviced. I've had a couple experiences with Spradely Barr Ford... I've bought a new car there and a new truck. I have zero complaints on the sales side. Th I've had a couple experiences with Spradely Barr Ford... I've bought a new car there and a new truck. I have zero complaints on the sales side. They were always very friendly, gave me a decent deal, made sure all my concerns were dealt with etc. Overall (obviously) I would go back to buy a car. Both times I had Jim Dockery as a sales agent, and I've dealt with both Deb and Scott in Finance. All of them are super friendly and super helpful. Their service department is the xxxxs though.. I've had more trouble with their service department than I can count. For instance, when I bought my truck I paid to have the bed liner put in.. I was told I would get a call in 3 days from service to schedule. Never got the call. A week later I called them, and the guy tells me he is too busy to deal with me and I will have to call back.. OKAAAYYY.. So I call back the next day, after a bunch of phone tag and horse hockey (then complaining) from me, they finally say bring it in the next day. The next day I show up bright and early, go into service and the guy literally starts telling me off because they are too busy to work in my truck and they don't have time for trivial crap like this because they are understaffed. I looked him straight in the eye and said, I personally don't care about your problems, I paid to have a liner put in, and I want the liner put in. He took the keys and told me it would be done by the end of the day. yeah right.. It took them two days, most of which my truck sat looking pretty right where I left it. I paid for the extended service plan (you know with the free oil changes) except every time I go there they tell me they are too busy to do it and I have to come back. So I gave up, don't buy that they obviously have no intention of actually honoring it. In my past (in my older) truck I had a problem with I took it in to have a diagnostic on it... They told me bad alternator and then quoted the most ridiculous price ever. So I said no thanks and paid them $50 for the diagnostic (including readings of voltage along all the wires) so I took it home and put a new alternator in myself.. Still broken.. So I pulled out a fluke and started reading the voltages my self.. Sure as xxxx there was a blown wire right where these guys said they had read a voltage (that could not have been there). It was pretty obvious they did jack xxxx but tell me it was a bad alternator and charge me $50. In there defense, when I complained they did refund the price of the $50 plus the cost of the alternator, but it really makes me wonder what happens with the tons of other people that go through having no idea what is wrong. It is just shady. More

These guys were knowledgeable and if they didnt know they said i dont know and would ask someone who did. I bought two trucks from mike and they did as they said and gave me a fair price. After my good experiences i suggested my sister in law when in the market buy from mike and again nothing but honesty and fair value. More
