Certfied Used is a SCAM We bought a "Certified Used" 2016 Explorer. DO NOT buy a "Certified Used" vehicle. Basically you pay more for a vehicle that is no different than a We bought a "Certified Used" 2016 Explorer. DO NOT buy a "Certified Used" vehicle. Basically you pay more for a vehicle that is no different than a used vehicle anywhere else. Within a few weeks we had to get a tow because of a dead battery while we were an hour + away from Fort Collins. Then at our first oil change we were told our vehicle is unsafe to drive because the rear brakes needed replaced. Not sure what they're doing to make the vehicles "Certified Used", but it certainly isn't what I would expect to sale something at a premium. We should have stuck with a Toyota or Subaru! More
