I purchased a used car from this dealership in March 2024. Their tactics were slimy and underhanded just to get a couple of extra bucks. They were unresponsive and flat-out lied. They messed up the titl 2024. Their tactics were slimy and underhanded just to get a couple of extra bucks. They were unresponsive and flat-out lied. They messed up the title, and it took three months to get the extra key they promised (in writing). Unfortunately, I am in the market for another car because the one I bought at Ken Garff was totaled - guess where I won't be going to buy another car? More
I bought a new (ordered) Ranger & that went OK except for the unending salesman attempts to apply unnecessary addons. The one thing I didn't get from Ford was a hitch. I ordered a hitch through parts & broug the unending salesman attempts to apply unnecessary addons. The one thing I didn't get from Ford was a hitch. I ordered a hitch through parts & brought the car back for installation. After 3 days (and taking off the back bumper) it was still not installed. I asked them to put back the parts & went over to a bike rack store (Rack Attack) and they installed the receiver hitch in 1 hour (after all, it only requires 4 screws into the frame which are already predrilled). Being a slow learner, I returned for some simple warranty work yesterday and they said they needed the truck for 2-3 days just for "diagnosis" then I would be asked to return for repair. Don't they realize we have a vehicle BC we need it to get around? Anyway I left, never to return. I would rather pay for this myself or travel to a more distant dealership (eg, Loveland Ford). I only hope they leave Ft Collins and are replaced by someone who believes in service. A long time Ford guy, it may be enough for me to go to GM for my next truck. More
Beware of this dealership! I bought a 2016 MKX on 7/27/24. Found a transmission leak 2 weeks ago. I live about 2.5 hours from FC so I took my car to a local Ford dealer near me. It was diagnosed with a couple seal leaks. Kornerstone warranty company claimed it was a pre-existing condition and won’t cover the repairs. The windshield on the car has 2 cracks in it. My salesman said they would fix or replace the windshield. Now they claim they can’t find anyone in my area to replace the windshield. I have contacted my salesman, John Meer several times. I have also contacted the dealership several times. I have left several messages. I even spoke with someone in service and he said he would have someone call me back. This has been the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. After reading all the other bad reviews, it is evident this dealership is shady. Lots of unhappy customers! How are they still even in business. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding this dealership. Definitely steer clear of Ken Garff of Fort Collins. More
Wow no wonder they are 1. 7 stars.... DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Not only are they unprofessional but they actually broke the law when working with our car. NOTE: They are ignori 7 stars.... DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Not only are they unprofessional but they actually broke the law when working with our car. NOTE: They are ignoring all emails and calls to fix it. I even got Ken Garff corporate involved but they refused to make it right as well. They did almost $8,000 worth of work on our car WITHOUT approval and never gave us an estimate. (this is against the law...) After the UNAPPROVED work was finished, they forced us to pay in order to get our car back. Since we were from out of town and traveling with a 6 month old baby, we had no choice but to pay it in order to get home. Not only is this terrible customer service but it's actually illegal. I am shocked that a place like this is still up and running it's a disgrace. People involved in this were: Blake & Luis. More

Do NOT take your car in for service at this dealership. Beware of Blake Harwell as well. Over the past year, I have had my 2019 Ford Fusion in for a check engine light three times. All three times, they ha Beware of Blake Harwell as well. Over the past year, I have had my 2019 Ford Fusion in for a check engine light three times. All three times, they had my car for a minimum of a week. They charged me $1400 the first time, only for the CEL to come on again. The second time, they didn't charge me, but it came on again. The third time, they had it for a week, and they replaced the Air Filter, and said it is fixed. When I got the car home, the CEL came on again. I left multiple phone messages for Blake, and he never returned my call once. He eventually texted me and said he was busy. I have a code reader and have sent Blake messages w/ the code. He will not return my calls or my texts now, and it has been over a week. He said that he would get back to me and have the original technician check out the car for the fourth time!?!? The technicians obviously don't know what they are doing, and they don't know how to use a code reader. I wish I could receive a return call or text and at least have them tell me they are sorry and clueless and can't read the code for the CEL. Who knows? I would avoid this dealership and the service department at all costs! Run if you see Blake's name on your receipt. More
Time wasted. Very poor communication. No service. I’ll give you the highlights, you decide. Booked appointment online Received 2 offers to come pick up car th Very poor communication. No service. I’ll give you the highlights, you decide. Booked appointment online Received 2 offers to come pick up car that included the date & time of appointment. Link in offer did not link to anywhere on site to confirm. Called, waited on hold. Man who answered transferred me to the back of the queue on hold. Finally reached person, said if I want pick up I have to wait 13 days beyond appointment. Made arrangements to catch shuttle home. Arrived at appointment time. They didn’t know why I was there. I explained for the 4th time. Was told that to be “transparent “ I should be aware that they may not be able to diagnose why my AC did not work for up to 3 days, so I wouldn’t have my car for up to 3 days. Since specifically said diagnosis service, I assume that did not include repair. I had been warned on the phone that it might take 1/2 to a full day. Service person said they are not supposed to give me a time frame. Really? They don’t think we might need to know that? Being without a car for 3 days is not an option & literally could be a matter of life & death in my family situation. I cannot afford to rent for 3+ days on top of repairs. Service person was completely uncaring. Not even a half hearted apology that I got during the pick up snafu. Just Thanks for coming in. I do not recommend this dealership. It would have been so easy for them to communicate the reality, but they went out of there way to offer services they could not provide. They cost me time and money I cannot spare & Did not care one iota that they had. Horrible, Horrible. More
Picture this: you walk in with the noble intention of fulfilling your kid's dream of owning their own car. But instead of a smooth ride, you're taken on a rollercoaster of shady tactics and wallet-draini fulfilling your kid's dream of owning their own car. But instead of a smooth ride, you're taken on a rollercoaster of shady tactics and wallet-draining schemes. From the get-go, it's clear they've mastered the art of deception. It's like trying to negotiate with a magician who's constantly pulling rabbits out of hats, except these rabbits cost you hundreds of dollars! And just when you think you've escaped the clutches of their trickery, they hit you with the ol' "freebies turned pricey" maneuver. Suddenly, those add-ons you thought were complimentary are the final bill faster than you can say "rip-off." Our main salesperson was a nice person, but behind the scenes lurked a cast of characters straight out of a car dealership nightmare. Moving numbers around and insisting, "You are getting a great deal," was just not true. In addition was promised a second key to the car as I was only provided one, this was 20 days ago. I just sent them a second message telling them they need to get the second key. I told them to email me when it was available to pick up, but of course they called saying "sorry". So, take my word for it: steer clear of this dealership like a pothole-ridden road during a rainstorm. Your peace of mind and hard-earned cash deserve better. Don't say I didn't warn you! More
