The negotiating process is always tough but ultimately I end up with a deal I am happy with. From beginning to end the staff was always attentive and upbeat. I'm really loving my new Honda Civic 2016, in my opinion it drives better than my previous 2014 Accord. As long as they continue providing such great service, I will always come back and bring my family to CCH 💖Thank you More

The waiting room is nice, clean, and has areas to sit on a couch and watch TV or plug in a laptop. There's free coffee, and some snacks for purchase. The bathrooms are clean and well lit. Courtesy shuttle was available, and the drivers were friendly. The bad: My car was getting recall work done; my expectation was to not pay for any service or repair work that day. The service advisor called about an hour after i dropped my car off, and said they'd completed a full inspection, and my car needed $1850 work of repairs. Umm... hello, sticker shock. The service adviser was very vague about the exact work he recommended as well, and it was really frustrating being pressed into spending so much money without even understanding what was being recommended. He was very hesitant to explain the charges, which made the whole thing feel very shady. He then tried to negotiate with me to spend about half as much and prioritize the repair recommendations... is that the game? I had to wait 40 minutes for a courtesy shuttle to drive me home in the morning after dropping my car off. This made me late for work. When my car was done, nobody called and told me the courtesy shuttle was coming, so a confused driver arrived to pick me up when I was not at all ready. When I picked up my car, the service advisor was short, all business, and it felt like he was too busy for me. I definitely walked out feeling jilted with this last interaction. This definitely doesn't inspire me to come back, especially given the hassle with the courtesy shuttle. This is the west side of los angeles, there are service shops within walking distance all over the place. More
Snake Oil dealership STAY AWAY!! Bait and Switch!! Had gotten a quote from Dolly ( Internet Concierge ) for a new Accord. She stated in an email the quote was given to her by sales manager. She also in Had gotten a quote from Dolly ( Internet Concierge ) for a new Accord. She stated in an email the quote was given to her by sales manager. She also indicated that if they did not have the car they would easily get from another dealer. I arrived at dealership for appointment on July 10. Dolly passed me off to a salesman and 15 minutes later he tells me Dolly made a mistake and the lease payment would be another $30 per month. I told him they should honor quote. He brings sales manager, Rudy who tells me he won't do deal as stated. He was very rude and surly. Stay away from these scammers. More

I traded in my leased Civic ( the low balled me on that) nevertheless,I signed the paperwork and drove away with the Honda Fit .A month and a half later I still don't have financing when I was told exactly what my rate would be exactly what my monthly payment would be excetera. To my astonishment Honda Finance did not have my paperwork for the new car, only info on the paid off civic. My first payment is coming near and I don't know who to pay. My car has not been registered Honda Finance does not have record of even my VIN number and every time I call and leave a message no one responds, no one returns calls, no one picks up the phone. I only get text messages from the snake-oil salesman that Hoodwinked me into buying the ca and he never has answers, just keeps telling me its,all taken care of (but it's not, when I call Honda finance, it's the same run around, over and over). I used to like Honda but this entire experience has made me make up my mind that this is the last Honda I will ever even look at and if I could get out of this contract I would. Do yourself a favor stay clear of Culver City Honda they are Crooks and they don't know anything about customer service or loyalty. More
Bait And Switch:Price Gouging With ProPack I was ready to buy a 2015 CRV EX FWD. I did my research at numerous review sites, Edmunds, and TrueCar. I went to test drive a CRV at Culver City Hond I was ready to buy a 2015 CRV EX FWD. I did my research at numerous review sites, Edmunds, and TrueCar. I went to test drive a CRV at Culver City Honda, and ending up on their mailing list. They sent an email proclaiming 15% off MSRP on any CRV in stock, including any accessories. I bit. I went down to look at their inventory and they had the color I wanted. The salesman went off the get the paperwork and while he was trying to get me to sign, I see an additional $1300 in the price, generously marked "down" to $1100, for something they called the ProPack. This package consists of a set of wheel locks (MSRP about $50), cargo tray (MSRP about $150), and mud guards (MSRP about $100). In essence, they wanted me to pay $1100 for items that were really worth maybe $200, and that's on a good day. When I objected, the salesman said (1) they put the package on every car that came on their lot, (2) the package was like an Extra Value Meal at McDonalds, and (3) the dealership would not make any money sold the car at 15% off MSRP if they didn't add the package. I countered by saying that (1) at McDonald's, I could choose to buy the EVM or not, (2) the EVM cost LESS than what I would have paid if I had purchased the items separately (hence the meaning of extra value), and (3) the ad said 15% off MSRP for the vehicles as well as accessories, so where did the extra $1000 fee fit in? He then claimed that the "company" forced them to install the package, that "it cost money for the labor to install the package" (how much labor is involved in throwing a tray into the back of a car???), and that the labor/processing fee wasn't an accessory. My response was that there was no way in the world I could in good conscience just give him an extra $1000 for no good reason, and that I felt they had engaged in false advertising just to get me into the lot before disclosing this ridiculous padding of the price. He then pulled the oldest trick in the book: "Let me talk to my manager and see what I can do." What followed was even more mind-blowing: he can back with a figure even higher than he left with!!! I said I was sorely disappointed in his tactics, and that, given the facts my husband had purchased an Accord from them just 2 years earlier and we lived close to the dealership so they stood to make money from service and maintenance from us, they obviously had no desire to cultivate customer loyalty. He then offered to call my husband so he could explain the pricing. I told him I wasn't buying, and if he thought I was upset, then he really didn't want to speak to my better half. The next day I wrote them a polite letter explaining my position and disappointment, and indicated that I would be buying elsewhere. A few days later, I received a response from the salesman asking what he could do to gain my trust and business. I called him and said that he knew my stance and I would only come in again if he were serious about negotiating. He said he would get the lowest price he could sell the car for and get back to me. A few hours later, I get the exact same pricing as what I had walked out on. Culver City Honda has lost not only my trust, but also my business. I bought elsewhere a week afterwards, at a much better price. More
Shady and manipulative place, steer clear of this dealership My family and I were looking to purchase a used Honda Odyssey and found what we were looking for at this dealership. Unfortunately, we were several ho My family and I were looking to purchase a used Honda Odyssey and found what we were looking for at this dealership. Unfortunately, we were several hours away and so I called them to get their "bottom line price" before loading up the kids and driving the distance. I was told the lowest they could go for the Honda Odyssey Touring Elite was $30,500. (We had done extensive research and knew that this was fair, but could do better). I said thanks anyway and decided to keep looking. The VERY next day, they posted the van online for $29,998.....seriously? So, I called again, explained what happened and asked why they were not honest with me the day before....no one could give a reason. So, I said, if there is some wiggle room with the price, we'll come out to look at it and that we were coming from a distance (did not want to give out that info, but I had to give my phone number for them to call if the van sold before we could get there). The salesman assured me there was "a little wiggle room on this vehicle", so we were to see it later that same night. As we are an hour into our drive and another hour to go, the salesman calls and says,"I'm sorry, but my manager said there isn't any room to lower the price, it is what It is"....really? So, I told him he should have told me this 4 hours ago when we were on the phone, not when you know I've invested time into this drive. So, we got to the dealership, looked at van, the salesman and I took it for a test drive and I told him how disappointed I was with the dealership already and unsure if I wanted to do business. I also told him that if they would not budge on the price, the only way we would buy it was to get an "exceptional" price on our trade in. We returned from the test drive and my husband noticed that not one, but TWO brake lights were not working....on a 2 year old vehicle? That was "Honda Certfied"? A vehicle that underwent such a detailed inspection to warrant the "Honda Certified Protection"? Hmmmm. Also, the van had two new tires put on because the tires were never rotated, they had to be replaced. Except, looking at the srervice records, this dealership was the only service place where the vehicle had service...so, THEY were the ones who didn't rotate the tires at each schedule oil change! Then, to really abandon ALL hopes of purchasing this van(which we were ready to pay for fully, already had our own financing done) they offered a RIDICULOUS price for our trade in! Made it super easy to walk away and NEVER return. They thought that since we were driving so far, we would definitely purchase that night and could call the shots and be difficult. They were wrong! We didn't walk, we ran and never looked back, thankful we weren't taken advantage of this terrible dealership. I strongly recommend you don't let them try to manipulate you too!! More

Horrible Service Dept -Culver City Honda -Avoid like Cancer On 5/8 was sold a CPO 2011 Odyssey with 2 broken axle (warranty covered, unknown at the time). Raises questions about the quality of service dept in On 5/8 was sold a CPO 2011 Odyssey with 2 broken axle (warranty covered, unknown at the time). Raises questions about the quality of service dept in certifying a used 2011 Honda as a CPO with TWO broken axle. 1. Scheduled appoint to fix first axle - had to wait until axle was ordered, never got a call that axle came in, called a few times then finally got it fixed. When the car work was completed, never received a call to get it picked up, had to call multiple times before knowing van was ready for pick up. 2. Drove around for 1 day still heard noise from the axle area, took it back to dealership, only to find out that the other axle is broken. Then repeated the first steps with some additional drama. Never received a call that axle arrived, it took 45 mins of repeated calling to find out that info on 5/30. Had been a BWM 330i owner for a while, love the car and the service from BMW - great overall - just needed a kids mobile, so they can beat up the car and I wont feel guilty inside. The rubbish, deplorable service from Culver City Honda service dept will make me avoid Honda Motors (good cars but I don't want my money supporting bad service). Regret buying from this dealer and also regret buying a Honda (if these are the type of ownership) Honda motors choose to work with. Anyhow lessons learned will avoid the entire dealership like the black plague. Alternatively if you are in the Culver City, Mar Vista area go to Airport Marina Honda, Santa Monica or Downtown for service, if you don't mind driving then Galpin Honda in Mission Hills has excellent service (got a 2014 accord from then on Cinco de Mayo).
