Zero stars! Culver City Honda is the worst place to buy a car. They are unprofessional and treat customers bad. I bought a used car from them in April 2024, paid Culver City Honda is the worst place to buy a car. They are unprofessional and treat customers bad. I bought a used car from them in April 2024, paid cash for the car. Two weeks after buying the car, Alex the finance manager called me to say I owe an additional $700 because apparently they didn’t charge me enough taxes. They missed calculated the taxes, so they say. Keep in mind, I signed the contract and paid in full what was on the contract. If that wasn’t enough, Shawntel, the person who wrote the finance contract and had me sign a million places, put my bank, which I had funds wired from, as the lien holder. Because of their mistake putting the bank as the lien holder for a car that was fully paid for in cash, DMV will not release the pink slip to me unless the bank releases the lien. It’s been three months trying to get Culver City Honda to fix the lien mistake. No one is willing to help me. I’ve talked to Shawntel and Alex in financing and they keep blowing me off. Now they won’t answer my calls. Shame on Culver City Honda. Please take your business elsewhere like Honda of Santa Monica or Honda of Downtown LA. More
STAY AWAY! !! I should’ve read the recent reviews prior coming to this location. I reached out to them last week as they are advertising a 1,000 discount on new !! I should’ve read the recent reviews prior coming to this location. I reached out to them last week as they are advertising a 1,000 discount on new cars for president days. They ran my credit and I was approved for a black Honda civic 2024. We worked out the numbers through the phone and I was happy with the deal I was getting. When I got there they told me they’ve sold the black car even though I made an appointment, I said fine I’ll take another color but to my surprise the new price was 3K more expensive, I explained to them that the representative geovani didn’t mention that. I was talking to some manager wanna be and Jessica and the manager said I’ll honor what you were told. When I agree on the price for a second time he came back and tried to sneak in another $1,500 on top of what we agreed on 5 minutes before. To say the least the whole team at Culver City Honda are a disgrace to the car industry, they have signs everywhere about honesty, loyalty and doing the right thing but in reality if you don’t pay attention they will find a way to stick an extra a few thousand dollars to your final bill. Please be aware and stay away from this place. I drove an hour from Costa Mesa thinking I was getting a fair deal but after waiting for 2 hours they are just the worst. They don’t have integrity and will do anything to screw you over. I wish I could give you a zero stars and I hope your business fails as you guys don’t have any integrity and honor whatsoever More

2023 Update: I am now on my 2nd car with Culver City Honda & was called with the offer to upgrade my car to a new vehicle & keep my car payment the same with no money down. I agreed to come in because w Honda & was called with the offer to upgrade my car to a new vehicle & keep my car payment the same with no money down. I agreed to come in because when I was offered this same deal 18 months ago I had a great experience & was able to walk away with another brand new car & $0 down. So I had faith in Culver City Honda. Unfortunately, this experience did not go as the previous two did. I came in with the expectation that I would be able to walk away with a new lease for a new car with the same car payment. When I sat down I was given a piece of paper for a lease buyout & to finance my car for $100+ extra dollars a month than I already pay. I told the salesman that that wasn't going to work for me, why would I go from a lease of $395 a month, to a financed vehicle for $530? Absolutely not! There's a reason I didn't finance the vehicle in the first place & he should've been able to see that both of my cars I got from Honda were leased. I reiterated my terms & he walked away to see what he could do, he then came back to me again with a lease paper for a brand new HR-V for you guessed it, $500+ a month & that he couldn't offer me anything under $500 a month. Let's be clear, the car he presented me with was only $900 more MSRP than the 2022 Civic I'm already driving. If you couldn't offer me anything under $500 then why did you call me offering to get me into a new car at my SAME monthly payment of $395 in the first place? At this point I'm feeling a little irritated because I feel like I was brought in & my credit was ran based on false pretenses. Every person I've worked with at Honda has always been nothing short of accommodating & willing to work with me to ensure I got exactly what I was looking for. I understand that a salesman isn't always the most honest person but HE called ME, I did not reach out to Honda to return my leased vehicle & that's the most irritating part for me. I didn't need my credit ran, as it's something that I'm very protective of, & I also didn't need to leave work early to do this. All I can say is to just beware as I feel this was shady business practice!! More
This review is for the parts department at Culver City Honda that is long overdue. I would usually come in to purchase oil filters for my car, however my car recently had some problems arise. The alternat Honda that is long overdue. I would usually come in to purchase oil filters for my car, however my car recently had some problems arise. The alternator went bad and I called to get a quote on the part and Jerson C. was able to help me out, able to answer any questions I had that he was able to answer and extremely patient. After that purchase I thought I wouldn’t return but my car now has abs/vsa issues, he not only let me know ahead of time that the part was on back order in the case that after getting my vehicle diagnosed in the service department I had to get that replaced. Turns out after getting it diagnosed that was the issue on my car and he even followed up to let me know a possible ETA of availability of part if I were to make the purchase now and wait for it to become available. I had steered away from giving this dealership a chance of continuing to service my vehicle for basic needs from past bad experiences. Prior to making an appointment to get my vehicle diagnosed I shared my experience with Jerson and he reassured me I would be well taken care of. He has provided me one of the best customer services I have ever had starting with listening, being helpful and going above & beyond! Jerson thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it!
