I didn't like the sneaky add-on charges to my recent oil change. Service department is not very helpful or friendly. Scheduled day to have vehicle I bought deozinated because of cigarette smell in vehicle. I was experiencing a Service Your TPMS warning on my 2012 Buick LaCrosse. I researched the issue and with the indications I had the sensor batteries on the TDMS sensors were failing. I called Zach Bishop a Buick LaCrosse. I researched the issue and with the indications I had the sensor batteries on the TDMS sensors were failing. I called Zach Bishop and set up an appointment for 1030 AM on 05 October 2021, specifically to have the sensor changed on all four tires. I dropped off my vehicle at 1030 on 05 October 2021. I told him specifically I was there to have the sensors changed on the vehicle. I also added and oil change, tire rotation and emissions check to complete my car registration for 2022. I was contacted a couple of times by Ken Garff Service department staging the progress. I received on where the tires were off and they were doing the safety check telling me about the status of my brakes, no mention of the TPMS sensor change, I called Zach a few times and left texts a few times asking about the TPMS sensor change and when I got ahold of him he said two techs had looked at the vehicle and said they were ok. I told him I wanted the sensors changed and for the reasons stated! He said he would have them do it. I went to the Service Department at 4:15 PM to pick up the vehicle. To my dismay my car was sitting there and the sensors had not been changed. I was livid and said they need to change the sensors as I had asked. Zach told me they did not change them because they did not see a problem. I told Zach, I brought the car is specifically to change the sensors and it was on my dime and no warranty work. This time they took the vehicle in and changed the sensors as I had originally requested. The service department wasted my time and theirs for they had the tires off to do my inspection and the sensors should have been changed then. This is not the first time I have had issues with this service department over issues dealing with technical items I knew were in error. More
