Took my truck in for a problem with the onboard gps. Specifically chose this dealer because this is a GMC Canyon and thought the dealer would be the expert in fixing this issue. They called me after a day or two saying it was all done and that there was nothing wrong other than that I needed to have onstar to make the system function . Completely false - onstar has nothing to do with the onboard self contained navigation system. After telling them that they went back to troubleshooting and eventually got things fixed after 2 +weeks of having my truck with no loaner offered and several parts installed that didn’t fix the issue. When I picked up the truck finally I asked which part it was they replaced - they simply read the repair order and when I asked what the part actually was no including mechanic - could tell me. Very disappointing to go to the expert and have to help them figure out what to do. I had to call several times to get updates on the cars status as well. More
Went in for a oils service Change today . My appointment was at 9:15 am . When I arrive I was able to get checked in and my appointment was under way the staff as kind and helpful I received a video of the was at 9:15 am . Zach and his team are Rockstars! My wife and I were traveling from Washington to Arizona and had an ongoing troublesome issue with our GMC diesel rear its ugly head again. Zach went above and beyond the call of duty and took care of us! He worked closely with the service team and other advisers to get us resolved and on our way South. This is the way customer service should work! This dealership deserves a feather in it’s cap. I especially appreciated Zack Bishop for his desire to help and devotion to exceptionally high customer service. Zach listened very well, was compassionate and understanding, and took a personal interest in helping my wife and I. Thanks guys! More
Not a great experience with the Service department. I bought a 2010 GMC Sierra from a private seller in December, which has turned out to be a nightmare truck. I have had the truck into Ken Garff GMC sev bought a 2010 GMC Sierra from a private seller in December, which has turned out to be a nightmare truck. I have had the truck into Ken Garff GMC several times for the same issue. Every time, they think they fixed it, and a month later, the same issue comes back. So I take it back again, claim to have it fixed, then repeat. I called the service manager and talked to him, and asked why a TAC with GM was not opened. He said it is not needed. But I have a case with GM, and they said to recommend the dealer open a TAC. Service manager not interested in doing that. Now, I can't get anyone from service to return my calls. I will not be going back to them once my oil change package is all used up. Terrible service, technicians unable to resolve issue. Will take my business elsewhere, where they may show some interest in calling back and trying to resolve the issue. More
The people who worked on my Fit did an excellent job. I hit a deer and it damaged the hood and grill.
