Took truck in to get oil change and washer fluid hose and nozzles replaced due to washer fluid leaking on the ground. Came home two days later and still have same issue. Second time using them for service on my 2015 Yukon Denali. Great service both times. Appear to be very honest. I gave them an open invitation to change the battery if necessary during a recall visit, Denali. Great service both times. Appear to be very honest. I gave them an open invitation to change the battery if necessary during a recall visit, which they easily could have taken advantage of. Battery tested OK, so they didn’t recommend a change. They noticed a rock chip on my windshield, and had it taken care of during the same visit (done by an independent company cleared by my insurance). Pretty cool. More
Display issue I was experiencing a display problem with my 2019 Acadia. The rear camera was on all the time, unless I had my foot on the brake. I brought the vehicle in on 26 May 20 to the service department to get it looked at, the Service Advisor verified the issue and made me an appointment for 27 May 20 at 0915 AM. I told him I brought it in for the issue was there now and may not be there the next day. He said he had no techs available. I bring the vehicle in 0900 on 27 May 20 and talking with Crystal gave my info and told her I was going to wait. Three hours later I go to see the status of my car and Crystal told me they had changed the oil but techs had not gotten to it yet. I look in the hold area and my car was there. After I bought it to the service advisors attention the techs got to it and amazingly in about 20 minutes it was ready and they could not duplicate the issue. I was told I needed to bring it in when I had the issue of which I responded that is why I came in on 26 May 20 to do so. I was under the the impression my appointment at 0915 was for a tech but evidently just a slot to put me in a waiting line for the tech. None of this was explained to me until the end of the appointment when I picked up my vehicle. I was told to bring the vehicle back in when I got malfunction again and they would help me, I suspect a repeat of my current issue. I had been a customer of Young Buick/GMC for 20 years and experienced numerous issues and decided to try out Ken Garff, and this is not a good start. I am only asking for better communications with the service department for if the tech would have come out and got more info for me and say they could not do anything unless they saw the malfunction, I would not have sat in your waiting room for 3 hours. It would have saved a lot of time on both our parts. I understand Crystal may not have known all of this but a simple interaction with the tech would have prevented this issue. More
We purchased a very basic Jeep Compass from another dealership. Due to Utah State laws we could not return the vehicle during a 3-7 day grace period. The car just did not meet our expectations or needs. I felt very uncomfortable in the car. When I test drove the Jeep I noticed that the gas was almost empty. The sales rep indicated that he would get some gas in the car if we decided to buy it. We bought the car and it was only half full. When I noticed the Ford was gone from the spot where I parked, Chad mentioned that it was being washed and filled. I was shocked! There is more but this will suffice. THANK YOU! More
