Isabelle Perez provided excellent service. Thank you. She did not pressure me at all. I really appreciated that. I wanted to compare leasing a Civic with an Accord, and she was completely cooperative. She did not pressure me at all. I really appreciated that. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Aside from trying to illegally add “dealership prep fees” totaling $1700 to my car cost, the staff is completely unprofessional and just looking to squeeze as m trying to illegally add “dealership prep fees” totaling $1700 to my car cost, the staff is completely unprofessional and just looking to squeeze as many bucks out of you as possible. I drove from Louisiana to Houston(3hrs) to get my vehicle after confirming with a rep AND the manager that I’d be able to. 10 minutes prior to my arrival, they called and claimed they’d sold my car. Of course this is because I wasn’t going to pay the fees and they wanted to sell it to some other sucker who’d be willing. I had a friend call and ask to see the car and they told her it was still available. I literally had to go UNDERCOVER as her personal mechanic to confirm the car was still there. When I arrived, another rep told me an auctioneer was trying to buy the car and I’d have to offer a better price if my friend wanted it. I told him to let me see the car first and of course, he does. I then call the manager and tell him I know his rep lied. At which point, the manager tries to convince me he told everyone he sold the car so that I’d be able to come get it. The car the other dealer just tried to sell me at a higher price. After a test drive with yet ANOTHER sales rep, we finally get the paperwork started. At this point it’s 2:30pm and I’ve given them all my documentation. In a last-effort attempt to get me to back out, the dealership reps hold my paperwork for 3.5 hours. Take in mind the place isn’t nearly busy enough for this kind of delay. By the time they start my paperwork, it’s 6:00 and the banks are closed. Being that I can’t get a cashiers check at this point and the dealership only accepts $3000 per cash/debit card transaction, the salesman tries to haggle me into a worse deal or different car. One even goes so far as to offer to book me a trashy hotel across the street for the night so I could finish the transaction the next day. Of course, I decline both and request to speak with the management above all of them. She works it out but not until 8:00pm. I waited to leave that godforsaken place for 6 hours. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to buy a car here. In fact, I’m almost tempted to report the whole operation to the police. More
We went to Big Star Honda on 9/6 when we purchased a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee. There was a check engine light on that the dealership assured us was a minor fix (some recall just needed to be updated) and gave 2015 Jeep Cherokee. There was a check engine light on that the dealership assured us was a minor fix (some recall just needed to be updated) and gave us a written agreement that it would be fixed. Because we needed a vehicle to get to work and they had no loaners available they told us to take the vehicle home and bring it back over the weekend so they could fix the check engine light. We took to vehicle back 9/10 and have not seen the vehicle since. We went back up to the dealership 9/13 because we had been calling and emailing for an update with no response. We were first told the vehicle had been taken to a "sister dealership" because their service department did not know how to fix this minor issue but in all reality it was still sitting in their service department. We were told we were not going to get a loaner because they didn't have any. It wasn't until we asked about the return policy and to speak with a manager that they magically were able to get a loaner. On the loaner vehicle they wrote an expiration on the tag of 9/18 and it is now 9/21 and we still have the loaner with again no update on the vehicle we purchased and they don't seem to care at all that the tags are expired because "cops aren't pulling people over right now for expired tags". This dealership KNOWINGLY sold us a vehicle with problems and convinced us it was okay to take home so that we are unable to return it because we "took possession" by taking it off the lot. They are making no effort to keep us informed or updated on anything. Myself and my fiance have called the manager and left voicemails, again, with NO RESPONSE. Big Star Honda has the WORST customer service I've ever experienced and we are looking into what legal action can be taken. More

The only paperwork provided was in the glove box for proof of registration, until the hard plates arrive. I spoke with the finance company and they said I should have been provided this from the dealership. 2. I was rushed to sign everything from the finance manager on a big digital board and only briefly told what I was signing up for. I was told this was because they were extremely busy and this was to speed up the process of me being able to leave. 3. I was not told or given an option about signing up for an extra option through a 3rd party for an anti theft protection. I would not have signed up for this. 4. Again, I received no copies of anything that I signed on the digital board. I signed these documents the day before I picked up the vehicle. Had I received the documents I would have had a chance to review them and a chance to decline this anti theft option. 5. I am going to see what legal options I have one this part. I hope that you record sessions in the finance department. 6. There was small damage on the back of the car and the sales person said they would have this fixed before I picked up the car.
