The service representative I dealt with was extremely informative in regards to the work that needed to be done on my car. I have not taken my car to a VW dealer in sometime and a plan was devised to get informative in regards to the work that needed to be done on my car. Dropped care off for what I would have considered routine maintenance (oil change, brake flush, transmission flush, filter change, and two new tires). I figured this is a days worth of effort. We dropped the maintenance (oil change, brake flush, transmission flush, filter change, and two new tires). I figured this is a days worth of effort. We dropped the car off 9:30am on Saturday. We were provided very little updates on the status. It wasn't until around 4pm we were informed the requested services were not complete and the vehicle would have to stay another day. We didn't have much of a choice and they are closed Sunday. We requested the work be completed first thing in the morning to avoid excessive conflicts with work and school. Again, very few updates on status. The car wasn't ready until 1 or 2pm, due to our scheduled we couldn't pickup till around 6pm, which was fine. Finally get to the deanship to pick up, and as we leave the check engine light turns on. We go back to the service department and they say it needs to stay another day. At least this time we were provided a loaner. We were told it needs a new relay and battery, ok fine. Again, it took all day to replace these two items. We were told it would be ready around 2pm but it wasn't ready until around 4pm. Due to schedules we were able to pick up the following day. The communication on service status could improve. More over, it should't take more than a day to complete routine maintenance. I understand there is a labor shortage but that is not an excuse to overbook appointments and cause delays for everyone. I would rather have been told, our time slot is book up and we need to reschedule for another time in order to avoid excessive wait times. I have been very happy with these deanship up until recently. Each time we take our vehicles in, it seems to take longer and longer to complete routine work. This particular service appointment was very disappointing. The deanship has helped me out in the past, so I'm willing to keep going back for now, but if the service continues to decline, we may have to look elsewhere. More

I attended a charity auction and won a certificate for a full vehicle detail at Ken ganley Bedford, Ohio. I contacted them to redeem my certificate which I won for $150. I told them when I scheduled the appointment that I had the gift certificate and they said it would be no problem and schedule the appointment. I left work early and made plans to be picked up as they said the detail would take two to three hours. When I arrived at Ken ganley I showed them the certificate and they said it would not be honored because they have a new GM. They kept my certificate but I have a picture.
