I've owned owned/leased VW's from Ganley Volkswagen of Bedford for the past 15 years, now I live on the west side and thought of purchasing there but I am so impressed with the staff and service from Ganley Volkswagen of Bedford, that I had a hard time buying elsewhere. My purchasing decision was cemented within 5 minutes of meeting Kevin Weiss, he was so attentive and concerned with what I wanted in the vehicle, there was no stress at all, I was confidant with the deal and felt so GREAT when I left with my beautiful new car. After not finding the root cause after the first scan, they re-scanned and came up with $4K worth of work my car needed... Everyone from the customer service rep to the guy who drove my car back to me must have been in on the act: telling me they left the car running so it would actually start again, asking me if i wanted to be followed home to be sure i got there etc. Found Avon Imports Auto Clinic and drove my car there the next day (it ran fine). It was a $90 fuse. Told me my car ran beautifully. More

I had been to 2 other dealerships in person and contacted several others via phone and email and no one beat Joes price. He listened to what I wanted as well as my needs with the vehicle I wanted and he worked with me to find me the car I wanted at the price I needed. When I went in to finalize my payment and pick up my car, Joe spent just enough time showing me every detail of my new vehicle in the most efficient way. I really appreciated the extra time he took with me on those details. Every part of my purchase of this car was smooth, easy and efficient due to Joes expertise. I also appreciated his friendly and genuine personality. I will be back again to give him my business on the next purchase no doubt! More

He was highly recommended to me as a man you can trust. He proved it when I bought my first VW and now my second one. There was no fast talking , in fact he knew I needed more help than others, so he tuned into my personality, by that calmed me down. He looked out to how much I can afford when it came to financing thus making that transaction simplified and understandable before I even addressed it with the finance person, and I got what I wanted. While others zoomed into my blind spot , he tuned into the things I didn't see or and explained them. From the type of car , to finances, services . He also worked on making me brave enough to just get to the point so he can diligently prepare the steps I have to take to own and maintain , and be comfortable in my car. Joe Walker is the best type of salesperson out there! TL;DR: Joe is amazing to work with because he is understanding, informed, and not super pushy. He is there when you need him but realizes car buying is an intensely personal process that takes time. And he treats customers like people, not just potential sales. Open to input and conversation, and a genuinely great person to work with all around. Best car salesperson I've ever worked with and proud to have bought my 3rd VW from him. My wife and I were looking for a used VW Jetta, and after some disappointing trips to smaller/independent dealers (both in terms of quality of cars, and pushiness/unhelpfulness of salespeople) we went to Ganley VW on the Auto Mile one Saturday. We walked in the dealership and asked where we could see the used Jettas, and Joe introduced himself and answered our question directly, showing us to the spot on the lot to look (instead of whisking us straight into his office for a 'sales pitch.'). But (most importantly) he was not pushy, let us browse/think at our own pace, and was 'as helpful' as we wanted/needed him to be. After we had picked 2-3 cars to look at in more detail, he arranged to have them pulled around to the front, had us into our office to get to know us and what we were looking for (on a more personal level than most - i.e., not just all about the sale!) and then showed us the cars out front and recommended a test drive route. After the test drive we had narrowed in on a particular car, but since it was nearing lunch, decided to leave and come back later. Joe was okay with this, and did not pressure us to stick around. Over lunch we thought about it some more but decided we wanted to negotiate on price. We were able to do this seamlessly with Joe over the phone and text, and came back to the dealership in the afternoon already having agreed on a price. The afternoon took a while (the only downside) but it was a busy summer Saturday; not Joe's fault. He kept me company in the office while financing/title people freed up. All in all Joe was a great salesperson - perhaps because he felt more like an advocate/adviser to make sure we made the best decision for us, instead of pushing us into something that did not fit our needs. Kind, friendly, down to earth - would recommend Ganley VW highly, and Joe even more so! More

I had an appointment to do a diagnosis on my car and he pushed my car back and put other cars ahead of me. Then I spoke with Michael who is the manager and said he would be dealing with me and working with me and he has not contacted me since. They had my car for a week no apology or anything. Then today they call me at 4:45 and say to say my car is done and they close at 5pm ... Very disrespectful and no class More

The car performed perfect , however is kind of small and expensive for a VW Golf ; it is a perfect " sleeper " as is powerful and fast but does not attract attention . We left in very good terms and there was no pressure to purchase and we left the door open to a deal after do some more thinking . The dealership is very clean and very nicely decorated ; the quality of the furniture is high and the cubicles for the sales staff are nice and provide privacy to do business ; it shows the management invested to make the place really nice . Overall , very pleasant experience - we are still in touch over e-mail and may still make a deal . I gave a good review despite not buying because they deserve it - they did their job despite my condition " not buying today " - in other places customer is dismissed if the sales person noted they are ready to buy and just " kicking tires " .
