Oil Change on a Saturday I came in for an express oil change and I got an estimate for about an hour to an hour and a half. Keith, Joe S. and Ben, were great to work with, nothing short of amazing! My Father-in-law and I Visited quite a few dealerships looking for a new car. The other dealerships were less memorable experiences short of amazing! My Father-in-law and I Visited quite a few dealerships looking for a new car. The other dealerships were less memorable experiences, more forgettable if anything. Keith treated my Father-in-law and I like family. Such a great experience. He didn’t once push anything on me, and really worked with me on pricing and gave me honest opinions. Once I found the VW I thought I might have liked Keith made a recommendation for a year newer model with a slightly bigger engine, and once I got in and drove that car, I knew that was the one. Joe S the Sales Manager was such a nice guy, and had just a normal conversation with us not surrounding the sale. Joe’s knowledge on the entire VW line including manufacturer warranties and individual specs is second to none. Ben the finance manager was very nice as well, and worked with me on getting to the number I needed. He went above and beyond helping finalize everything. Keith is simply a great person, and I felt like he was more of a friend to me than anything throughout the entire process. Keith put in extra time to help answer all of my questions even after the dealership closed, as he texted me throughout the night into the following days, before and after I finalized everything. He made me a VW Fan and a customer for life. My wife and I are looking forward to getting our next vehicles from Ganley VW of Bedford, and I can only hope I get to work with that entire team again. Suggested and performed oil change to fix a diagnostic issue. It didn't resolve the issue and problem came back immediately...they did get $500 out of me to fix something else issue. Horrific Experience!! My experience with the service department was HORRIFIC!! My first visit on January 17th went well. Alexis Williams provided exceptional customer servi My experience with the service department was HORRIFIC!! My first visit on January 17th went well. Alexis Williams provided exceptional customer service during my visit. It was recommended that I purchase two (2) new tires for the vehicle for which I purchased (PAID IN ADVANCE) in addition to purchasing a replacement mirror switch. Alexis stated the tires were not in stock but the order would be placed for both items and would arrive on Monday, January 20th. She said someone would contact me when the parts came in. I did not hear from anyone so I called the service department on Wednesday, January 21st to check the status of the order. I spoke to a gentleman in the parts department who stated the switch had arrived but the tires had NOT been ordered. He asked me to hold while he double checked the order. He returned to the line and stated BOTH parts were in and that I could return to have tires installed along with the switch. On Saturday, February 1st. I returned to the service department to complete the remainder of the work which included install of the replacement switch, tire installation and rotation, in addition to a wheel alignment. After checking in then waiting patiently for roughly 45-minutes or so, Alexis approached me to advise that the order for the two tires had actually NOT been placed. She apologized then said the tires could be orderd then asked if I could return Monday, February 3rd to have tires installed. Needless to say, I was livid at this point. I instructed her to install the switch only then demanded a refund for the tires as I did not have time to return as she suggested. I asked that the refund be issued back to my credit card. She adamantly stated that the funds could not be returned to the credit card because the cashier did not know how to process a refund. She said a check would be issued but it would not be available until Monday, February 3rd. Alexis stated no one was available in the service department to issue the refund. I called Monday, February 3rd to find out if the check was ready for pickup – Alexis stated she could NOT issue a check but I would need to return to the service department to process the refund back to my credit card. I finally used my lunch hour to drive back to the dealership to complete the refund to my credit card. This entire fiasco was the most horrible experience that I have encountered!!! And to further add to the debacle, they didn’t bother to wash the vehicle as promised when visiting the service department. I will not have my car serviced at this dealership in the future. More
Excellent Purchase Experience - new Kurkuma Yellow Arteon This was a very nice purchase experience and Wayne Frejofsky handled everything perfectly. This was an out of the ordinary long distance purchase and pick up. Initially, I made contact with Wayne and discussed the purchase through email (via an Autotrader ad)- he worked with me, VW and the dealership to discuss the car its features to obtain a mutually agreeable price. I wired the funds and traveled there to meet him and take delivery. The car was very well prepared, we took it for a short test drive, I did quick diagnostic test and Wayne showed me how to pair my phone, set it up for Waze navigation and explained some other features of the car - very helpful. He also supplied the car with a full tank of fuel, changed the oil and set tyre pressures (important for a 2500 mile trip home). He has been selling VW cars for long time and told me some interesting stories about his visit years ago to VW in Germany, plus his interests in US muscle cars. I really enjoyed chatting with him and doing business with him and at the dealership in general and the car was immaculate!! Dayton Ware did all the financial paperwork too, also very efficient - altogether the complete process was a truly nice experience. I can thoroughly recommend this dealership! thank you. More
issues with service I brought my car in for an oil change in the process 1 day before I arrived all these lights came on in my car I told the service department they said I brought my car in for an oil change in the process 1 day before I arrived all these lights came on in my car I told the service department they said it was the front brakes/rotors and the right rear barriers and bolt which was quoted 1,000 ^ well I don't have that type of money but anyways im getting the front brakes and rotors done but I have taken my vehicle to an dealer I don't need a barriers :( !!! I'm very upset I was told this .also my oil change was done but no new sticker put in the window. At these point I don't know is wrong with my car. More
