On the internet, I shopped all over the state of Ohio for my wife's new Jetta SE. This dealership beat all others with price and with service! Other dealers couldn't even come close & I have three local dealers here in Central Ohio. Our pick-up experience went smoothly and fast. Will suggest all my friends ask for Joe and Frank; they were beyond wonderful! In closing, needless to say, my wife loves her new Jetta--mocha brown metallic with cornsilk interior. Very sharp. More
These guys are awesome, they have gone above and beyond to help me and make me feel welcome. The sale was one of the smoothest and not drawn out sales that I have ever had, I didn't have to sit around the to help me and make me feel welcome. The sale was one of the smoothest and not drawn out sales that I have ever had, I didn't have to sit around the dealership for 4/5 hours waiting and wondering when I was gonna leave. They showed concern of what car I should get in my price range, didn't show me the most expensive car on the lot. I take my car weekly to get washed and they do an awesome job, they don't wash the outside and send me on my way with it wet, they wash the outside and dry, clean the tires, etc, car looks brand new each time I leave the dealership. I have told many people how great they are and they are looking forward to heading up there when its time for a new car. I highly recommend them and I know I will use them for my next VW. Thanks VW for an awesome experience, look forward to my next car wash visit. More
Do not come here for service. Their customer service is horrible. The want to talk themselves out of fixing 'certified pre owned' problems like it's their job. I came here with my last Passat VW with a s horrible. The want to talk themselves out of fixing 'certified pre owned' problems like it's their job. I came here with my last Passat VW with a stuck lug nut. Tech came out to help me and stripped the nut. Got up, looked my way and told me that I was going to have to now get it drilled out. Then he said, looks like you're going to need new wipers also. You cant make this stuff. Bought a new VW Rabbit that leaked oil. Brought it back 5 times, each time they returned it, it leaked oil again by the time I got home. Filed a Lemon Law claim and then got out of the car for my current Passat. Different car, different set of problems, the list to long but some of the issues: electronic fire, transmission, radio, suspension etc. Endless! I want to love this car, but I simply cannot. The quality sucks and the service and help is worse. Just a shame. SAY NO TO GANLEY VW OF BEDFORD AT ALL COSTS. Ask around, you will hear the same!! More
First of all, I made an appointment in the middle of winter while it was heavily snowing. I drove 45min. to this place with my two kids and mother to look at a car posted on-line. The car was ready for winter while it was heavily snowing. I drove 45min. to this place with my two kids and mother to look at a car posted on-line. The car was ready for me to take for a test drive, it was running and warm, but when I entered the office I was told he was too busy to go with me on the drive so here are the keys. Remind you, I am not from this city so I have to ask for directions. I also had never driven this kind of car so I had no idea where things were or how it even handled in the snow. The dealer never went over the car with me, in fact, he never left his office except to smoke a cigarette. I did buy the car because it was what I was looking for but they did not work with me on the price and wanted to charge me an outrageous price for a warranty. It took me a couple of months before I found out that my trunk was an automatic release and close. The dealer also said he would mail me some touch up paint which I still have not recieved 5 months later. They also sent me home in the car with my kids in it, in a pretty good snow storm with any empty tank of gas and windshield wipers that did no work well, the rubber was splitting off. Overall, VERY unprofessional experience. More
I turned in my lease on my black 2007 Jetta in early November and leased a new red 2010 Jetta from Ganley. Having had a great first experience with this dealership gave me confidence that my second e November and leased a new red 2010 Jetta from Ganley. Having had a great first experience with this dealership gave me confidence that my second experience would be wonderful as well. Their new facility in Bedford is beautiful and makes the car buying experience a breeze. My parents were with me and like the general feel and comfort of the place. JC made the process fly buy as he patiently answered all of my questions - listened to me go on and on about the research I had done and the items I would like on the car. All in all - it took a little less than two hours - no high pressure, JC didn't have to speak with the Sales Manager (at least I didn't see it) and we all got a couple of laughs out of it. Would highly recommend the dealership - Michael Friedman is a nice guy who takes individual concerns seriously. As a female who admittingly does not know a lot about cars and does not enjoy spending time in dealerships or body shops - I go back to Ganley time and time again - because I know my voice will be heard. Something to seriously consider when going into a long-term relationship such as a lease! More
Lets start with the service department failing to complete the service and repairs the car was brought in for. Brought my 2003 Passat in for some work. A 100,000 mile service, a rear brake issue, a complete the service and repairs the car was brought in for. Brought my 2003 Passat in for some work. A 100,000 mile service, a rear brake issue, a broken exhaust clamp. The most annoying issue to date has been installing a replacement engine spash pan that wasnt installed correctly on a previous visit. This came off on the highway at 70 mph. After a day and a half I get the car back. Cars all done right? check... Bill paid? check...driving home notice the bag of parts I salvaged from the engine spash pan coming off still sitting in the center console. How nice thet didn't charge me for the new hardware... Yes that actually went through my mind for a second. I pulled into a gas stationed and hoped not to find what I was now thinking. You guessed it, no pan under the engine. Looking in the trunk the pan was still in its wrapper. So I make a call and get all sorts of excuses. I sit and ponder this as I look over the receipt I was given. Where is the rest of the detailed service work. Another call and more excuses as to why this wasn't completed. they take the car back keep it almost all day. get it back again with promises and excuses. Still not fixed! found pieces hanging loose under the car because it was incorrectly installed. The service manager was no help. All his spin does nothing to ensure the car gets fixed. Do I dare let them try again? I am forced to doubt any work this dealership has done to the car over the last two years they have serviced it. More
