He was not a pushy or aggressive salesman; rather, he presented the facts and let me make up my own mind. The Golf has perfect cargo capacity for picking up antiques at auctions and yard sales. It now has approx. 7600 miles; and the best mileage so far was 38.9 on the interstate and 27-30 city. All work on the car has been done quickly and with expertise. I give both Joe Walker, the Sales Rep, and the Ganley Bedford VW Dealership an excellent rating in all categories. More
I've always had an idea of what the new car buying experience was like, but Joe surpassed my expectations. From the start I knew what car I wanted and Joe walked me through the process every step of t experience was like, but Joe surpassed my expectations. From the start I knew what car I wanted and Joe walked me through the process every step of the way. By far the greatest part of my purchase was the walk through of all the features. Without the help of my salesman, I wouldn't have been able to figure out what button does what and I wanted to know everything my car was capable of. All in all I would strongly recommend Ganley Volkswagen. More

Stay away from Ganley, they act like your best friend until you sign the papers, then they just ignore you. Jeremy Eisenberg thier assistant general manager is very unprofessional. I called multiple time until you sign the papers, then they just ignore you. Jeremy Eisenberg thier assistant general manager is very unprofessional. I called multiple times a week for months and wrote letters. He did call me back 1 time just to tell me he will call me back again. I bought an 08 Evolution from them with a factory warranty and after 3 months of owning the car the motor blew up and left me with a 10-15,000$ bill for a new engine plus the 25k i dished out for the car. The dealership neglected to inform me there was aftermarket parts on the car when I purchased the vehicle. I recently heard similar stories from other customers having the same issues. The Service Director Pete Spacagna is a terrible individual and is very unprofessional. It's Amazing that such a large dealer could stay in business with such bad customer service, they think that since they are a big dealer 1 customer doesn't mean anything, I am determined to get my car fixed MR. Michael Friedman!! STAY AWAY!!!! BUNCH OF CROOKS!!!! More
I schedule an appointment online for an oil change and to have them repair a faulty oxygen sensor. I go in, takes about 2 hours, no big deal. I pay, drive away - not even out of the parking lot. CEL. I go b have them repair a faulty oxygen sensor. I go in, takes about 2 hours, no big deal. I pay, drive away - not even out of the parking lot. CEL. I go back to service, am told "it's the ECM we have to order it" okay, well it is a GTI, so whatever. I was told the part would be in on tuesday. Tuesday I call - no part and they still have my GTI. My problem is the lack of communication. I have never had this many problems, it's not just this small problem, but Every experience I have had with Ganley has been terrible. Beware. More
Not only is the dealership as a whole classy and upfront in selling volume with really responsive and helpful service at the best prices, but their salesman Major Harrison went far out of his way not only t in selling volume with really responsive and helpful service at the best prices, but their salesman Major Harrison went far out of his way not only to help my wife find the right car for her with the right accessories, including a hitch and bicycle rack in the deal, but after it all was completed, a month later, was ready and proactive to help me get adequate storage materials at his own expense for preserving and using a second set of tires on their own wheels. That happened because the car was purchased in Cleveland, OH, in December, and my wife wanted the extra benefits of a set of snow tires for the problematic Cleveland, OH winter. They put the snow tires on the original wheels at no extra charge, and sent the original tires on a new set of wheels home with her in the car for me to take care of. Immediately, there was a snowstorm, which proved the value of the snow tires. The new car, a jetta wagon diesel handled beautifully in the sudden several inches of snow on unconditioned roads (and the defroster worked astoundingly well, complete in a few seconds). But the heavy tires on wheels came home with minimal protective material, which quickly shredded, and we needed something sturdier for both storage and later transport in the car itself (to protect handler and car interior). When I contacted Mr. Harrison about this, who had never me me, he brought two sets of large, heavy-duty storage bags for the set we were to store to us at our house at the far end of Cleveland Heights within a week, a trip of 20 miles from the Bedford Ganely Volkswagen dealership. Mr. Harrison seriously wanted to sell a car, seriously wanted a completely satisfied customer, and seriously cared about his work and job. This is a rare, positive experience of a seller taking it entirely upon himself to go the extra mile. I am so impressed and grateful that I am going to this trouble here. More
Leased a car through Ganley. Brand new. Once signed, they no longer had any interest in customer satisfaction. Problems with the car in the first 1000 miles, not their problem... told me to talk to VW. Just no longer had any interest in customer satisfaction. Problems with the car in the first 1000 miles, not their problem... told me to talk to VW. Just generally unsatisfying, dealing with them it becomes immediately obvious that they care more about their bottom line than your satisfaction. This is painfully obvious when they give you a cheat sheet on how to answer the VW customer satisfaction survey. I never should have leased through them and will never do business with them again.
