Service was good...first impression wasn’t I think I’ve been spoiled having been a toyota customer for over 10 years. I pulled in the service door and sat there. Finally a technician came over and graciously told me to leave my key in the car and go through a door. I stood there in what looked like a construction area...with cones and tapes and not one person. Once again I had never been there before, and didn’t know what to do next. Finally a man came out, never told me his name and asked if I had an appointment. He said he would do a walk around and be right back. He did paperwork, told me what would be done, had me sign a paper that was hard to reach over the tape and cones, and showed me where to wait. Very helpful and accommodating I was hesitant to buy a new car during the pandemic, but they made it very easy and observed social distancing. Nothing wrong with a car that stalls while I'm driving Not happy at all. As I'm driving the car just ups and stalls out until I keep hitting the gas petal and it gets going. Has happened approximately 8-10 times since I got the vehicle a year ago but happened on both Saturday and Sunday of last weekend. Fortunately I haven't yet been rear ended just had to put up with lots of horn blowing but it could be very dangerous especially if it occurred while I was driving on a freeway. After a 40 minute wait I was told that there was nothing wrong that they could find with the car. The mechanic wasn't able to replicate the problem during a test drive. Really?! If it happens sporadically they find nothing wrong because in a few minute test drive the problem didn't occur?! The printed report they gave me didn't indicate they ran any other tests either. I was told to call them if it happens again. And to note the conditions of the car at the time it happens. What the heck does that mean? God forbid I or any passenger gets hurt as a result of it happening again or if I'm charges for any damage to the vehicle!!! More
