I had an issue with a rim that I felt was an odd failure. The guy just shrugged and said if I didn’t have tire/rim protection I was just going to pay, nothing he could do for me. I spent almost $800 to get everything all wrapped up. Customer service wise I was just disappointed that it wasn’t even a “yeah that’s strange” response. Maybe I am wrong looking for higher levels of customer service than I should. Either way, I decided to lease through another dealer as well as leaving Subaru as a whole. Their customer service doesn’t hold up on year 3 or 4 I guess. More

Worst automotive service experience in my life! Worst automotive service experience of my life (and I'm 65)! With just a few exceptions, it was almost impossible to get my service advisor to answer Worst automotive service experience of my life (and I'm 65)! With just a few exceptions, it was almost impossible to get my service advisor to answer or return my calls. These people have no concept of customer service. The vehicle was diagnosed with a defective timing belt. The cost was almost 3 times what it should have cost (according to Google). I Ok'd the repair, so that is on me. After picking up the core, we noticed the check engine light was on ... it was NOT on when we dropped the car off for the original repair. A week later we were told it was a faulty wiring harness, which like I said, the check engine light was NOT on when we dropped the car off. My service advisor has no concept of returning phone calls (according to her, she never got the messages). I do NOT want to see anyone lose their job over this, but this person should definitely be "re-trained" in customer service. Will NEVER return to this dealership again. Matt did improve the communication level a bit, and John Scott deserves an honorable mention for his efforts in improving the situation. More
