When the manager was speaking to you, he was just trying to explain that small leaks are common on vehicles over 80,000 miles.  And that if we were to fix all of it, the price would be much more.  We weren't trying to be rude; we were being direct. We take all concerns seriously, but please understand that all of our vehicles undergo a through safety inspection before they are available to purchase.
