I bought a 2016 Sportage, it was almost 3K below blue book price I was told it was because they needed to clear innovatory, so I bought it. I then found out that there was a class action law suit from my mechanic when I went for an oil change and it was 2 quarts low, this was also NEVER disclosed to me if it had been I would have passed. Since then I have been jumping through hoops for follow the procedure needed to get the issue addressed. Now we move to last week 11/06/2025 I got a call the service department saying they needed the car at the service department for an inspection set for 11/07. They never called me on 11/07, when I called them they said they would get a message to my service rep and he would call back, never did, called three times 11/08, same thing and on and on. I called them on 11/11 for an update was told the inspection was done, went to pick it up today 11/12 and was told the inspection was not done and rescheduled for 11/13. More

I normally don’t write long reviews, but my experience with Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman was so disappointing and stressful that I feel compelled to warn others. What should have been an exciting purchase t with Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman was so disappointing and stressful that I feel compelled to warn others. What should have been an exciting purchase turned into a two-week nightmare — one week just trying to complete the deal, and another week waiting for the dealership to finally release my approved, paid-for vehicle. During that delay, I was told I’d still have to pay for the days I didn’t even have the car in my possession. My experience with sales associate Christopher Kenney, finance manager Heather Marino, and general manager Melanie Yesovich was marked by misinformation, unresponsiveness, and defensiveness. I was repeatedly pushed aside, ignored, and treated as though my time and business didn’t matter. Even after paying my down payment and signing the paperwork, they refused to release the car, citing “funds clearing” from the leasing company — which makes no sense for a lease. When I raised the issue, I was offered only $40 compensation and told to sign a release form that would have silenced me from ever sharing this experience publicly. I refused. The only person who showed any professionalism was sales manager Mark Dickerhoof, who listened, treated me with respect, and ultimately honored the national offer I was initially denied. Unfortunately, every other part of this dealership failed to deliver even the most basic level of customer care. As a former licensed car salesman at Klaben Ford and Lincoln and a recipient of the Key to the City of Youngstown, I know how customers deserve to be treated — and this dealership fell far below that standard. If you value honesty, professionalism, and respect, steer clear of Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman. More
