I'm having trouble getting my deposit back. may have to file small claims action. *************************************************** Update 9/08/2006 After 6 Phone calls finally have my deposit refund. I went to the other dealer that had the car and purchased it. I even got a spoiler at no extra cost. I tried to do business with Ganley but it didn't work out. More
Tom Ganley Honda (North Olmsted, Ohio) is a joke, you neg with them in good faith telling them up front you will get your own financing, and once you go through your finanicial institute of choiceand complet with them in good faith telling them up front you will get your own financing, and once you go through your finanicial institute of choiceand complete finaning, they play games with the neg price of said vehicle and add up to $2,500.00 in hidden fees that they claim was just a misunderstanding, I say it was misrepresentation, dishonet, switch and bait, also bording fraud, because they called my finanicial institution claiming to represent me when they were not and try to charge me bank fees when I already had finianicial approval on my own. I wouldn't trust a GANLEY DEALERSHIP for all the cars in the world, you neg in good faith strike up a deal and do not hold up their end of a done deal, to bad they lost me a a customer, and I hope they loose you too! The owner Tom Ganley doesn't even have the guts to return calls about complaints about his own business. Once again Ganley is a joke - buyer beware and double and triple check all paper work so that they do not pull one on you like they tried to do with me. They are CROOKS. I purchased my new Honda Odyssey at Ganley Honda in 2002. <br><br>Though I am shopping for cars again, I will not be using this particular dealership again.<br><br>The main reason is a employee in their serv <br><br>Though I am shopping for cars again, I will not be using this particular dealership again.<br><br>The main reason is a employee in their service department named "Wendy Fee"s. <br><br>I had to bring my Odyssey in for recall work at least THREE times within the first two years of ownership. While I wasn't thrilled to have to spend so much of my time dealing with this many recalls on a BRAND NEW vehicle, the actual recall work was handled to my satisfaction. <br><br>Unfortunately, the customer service wasn't. Each time I stopped in, "Wendy" would refer to me as "Hon" or "Dear". Sometimes as many times as 8 or more times within a single 15 minute visit. I would expect this sort of treatment at McDonalds, not a dealership selling expensive, higher-end vehicles.<br><br>After the third visit, I gently asked her to please refer to me by my last name. She blew up and yelled right in my face "Are you calling me a lesbian?", "I call EVERYONE Hon and dear". Her manager (and boss), Gary Smith, was standing right next to her in front of the service counter. Even HE was trying to calm her down. <br><br>I asked him what he was going to do about it, (apology?) he said "nothing". <br><br>I don't believe anyone should have to put up with this kind of treatment. <br><br>While I have no complaints about the other employees at this dealership, I will be purchasing my next car at the Toyota dealership up the street. I have already visited their service department. They said their employees know better than to speak to customers like this.
