I worked with Jeff Smith as my sales person and couldn't be more pleased with how he treated myself and my wife with respect. The problems came when I dealt with the manager who negotiated with me on the purchase of a new car. He made us wait for an hour to see a price for the car. He then illegally represented the MSRP as $6,000 higher than the sticker price and cut me off when I questioned him for an explanation on the matter. This was on top of other issues experienced when attempting to negotiate a realistic deal for the car. Do not buy from this dealership until new professional management is hired. More
Went into the store looking for a vehicle for my mother in law who happens to live in Michigan. Was pretty clear about that upon meeting with the salesman. Test drove and upon return asked for an out the door price as my brother in law was going to be dealing with the financing. When the salesman returned, he informed me that due to the nationwide vehicle shortage, they were only offering vehicles for sale to local residents. But, I could take the title memorandum to Michigan once we received it at my address and get it registered in Michigan... Huh??? So, in reality, you don't really care about locals as you knew this vehicle was going to Michigan, you just want some feel good press about supporting local economy. Ok, see you later Ganley! Asked for the written policy so I could actually read it and was denied... Unreal, I thought dealers wanted to sell cars, but apparently, only if you live in the right area. More
I inquired about a car I wanted to purchase yesterday and the salesman said he could not sell a car to someone living in Hartville because I wasn’t local. Ridiculous!!! After inquiring about a new car that had not hit the lot yet, my husband and I were ready to pull the trigger and put down our deposit. We had confidence in the salesman Tim Costa. A credit report for the loan was run, all went well. After the report had been run, we receive a call from the General Manager, also named Tim, who mentioned that the car we were inquiring about, had a credit report run on, etc, had already been sold 4 months prior. We are now left with a hard inquiry on our credit report, for nothing. When trying to contact the salesperson & GM to gather more info on how to get this removed, the attitude from Tim was very careless and overall did not seem willing to help. We have now been blocked from contacting the salesman & Tim. We have sent an email to Ron Hazelton (GM's boss) to hopefully get this resolved, however still pending a response. Customer service at this dealership is less to be desired. How on Earth they didn't know a car was already sold before taking us through the process this far is beyond me. Grateful our account information was not already compromised. I would never recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Horrific experience.... and we didn't even purchase a vehicle. More
