Rude, unprofessional and dishonest I had been looking at a Dodge Journey and inquired about it online. Matt Nedin responded via text and said it was still available. I informed him I was coming from an hour away, I would like to come test drive it, and if I liked it I would send my dad back up to look at it. My fiancé and I arrived at 415pm on Friday April 7th and walked up to the service counter and said I was told to ask for Matt about a Dodge Journey. The man behind the desk said here he is as he was walking up, and comes up to the side and looks at us and says "here's the deal (really rude tone, as if we were bothering him to come look at this car), this other woman has been calling, and ready to put a deposit down on it, but she hasn't called yet, and there's no deal yet, so I'll go get it for you to drive and look at." So I'm thinking why are we even here? So during the drive, he was on his phone, and we learned very quickly he was having to get his car towed because he lost his keys. And then apologized for being rude. When we returned from the drive, he went inside to let us look at it. I was really interested in it, but when we went back inside, he informed us the person interested had not even drove the car, but had called him like 10 times, but "out of respect for us he wanted to see what we wanted to do." Ok great, so we sit down, and I inform him I'm preapproved through the credit union and would be willing to put down a deposit, but he didn't want to deal with me because they lose money if we go through a credit union and the other person would be getting financed through them. I understand this is a business, but I just thought it was extremely rude, to tell me all of that, and refuse business because of my choice of where to get financed, and not only that, but I would have been less disgusted if he just would have been upfront before my fiancé cut out of work and before I drove an hour to go see it, saying there is someone else that we are working on putting a deal together with. If it doesn't work out then we will call you. But instead they rather waste my time, and play customers against each other, to see which one they will be able to get more out of. Rude, unprofessional and dishonesty will not get me to refer. I went elsewhere and put a deposit down the very next day with a dealership that doesn't mind me going through a credit union for a lower interest rate. Word of advice- don't waste your time at this dealership and definitely don't deal with Matt Nedin! Terrible customer service and poor salesmanship. More
MATT= TERRIBLE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. EVER. My husband and I were looking to buy a card, he found one on auto trader at Ganley. He was in contact with Matt for about 3-4 days in regards to this My husband and I were looking to buy a card, he found one on auto trader at Ganley. He was in contact with Matt for about 3-4 days in regards to this vehicle. We thought we were getting a great deal on this car, however all though the card was nice the experience was terrible. We live almost 4 hours away from the dealership, my husband had spoken to Matt multiple times on the phone to make sure that the car was in good condition and to make sure that we were not going to waste an 8 hour round trip. When we got to the dealership Matt was friendly at first, but then things went down hill. My husband questioned him about the snow tires on the car, and he said that he didn't know they were different tires. He also couldn't tell us if the exhaust was after market, or if it was stock. When we asked him for the tech's notes, he acted rude and like we were wasting his time. NEWS flash we are a customer, you are wasting our time by being rude. When he finally gave us the tech notes he rushed us down to a waiting room and didn't tell us what he was doing. We sat in the waiting room for not even a minute before he rushed us into a fiance office. My husband then asked if that is where we negotiate the price and he then scoffed at us! He made a big deal about us wanting a good deal for this vehicle. When my husband said he wanted a couple hundred knocked off the price of the card because it had snow tires he literally laughed at him. He said that you can drive with snow tires all year round and that they didn't need to be changed. If you know anything about cars, or have common sense, you know that snow tires should only been driven in the snow. From there he argued, laughed, and got super rude with my husband. They finally gave way on the price of the car and then we sat in the fiance office where the fiance lady, looking super unprofessional in sweatpants, tried to help us with financing, which we didn't need. She called our insurance rep, got crappy with her, and then answered a personal call on her cell phone while we were filling out paper work! You could hear her husband on the phone cussing up a storm! So not professional. She then messed up the title work 3 different times, which made us have to repeat information over and over and over again. Needless to say this dealership is the worst dealership I have ever had the experience of dealing with. I will never, never, never, never recommend this dealership. I will tell everyone I know NOT to go to this dealership. Worst experience ever. The employees were SUPER unprofessional, rude, loud, and disrespectful. If it wasn't for the fact that I drove 4 hours to get the xxxx car I would have walked right out and not have made the purchase. More

Out of State Deal Actually Gone Well! I was looking on CarGurus and I found the Cadillac I had been looking for at a great price, but I had some questions before I would want to drive 3 ho I was looking on CarGurus and I found the Cadillac I had been looking for at a great price, but I had some questions before I would want to drive 3 hours to see the car. The photos looked good (of course) , but who wants to waste all that time driving up to see a car they wouldn't buy. This had already happened to me 3 times and I was about to stop even trying. With that in mind, I called Ganley Dodge and spoke with Matt Nedin, a salesman there. From the beginning Matt was very professional but also down to earth. He explained every detail about the car, warranty, and even how they used market based pricing. The funny thing is, he explained all this before I even had the chance to ask the questions. lol. When I asked for the condition of the car, he said something I didnt expect, "well, let me go take a walk around the car and give you an honest opinion since you are driving so far". That kind of floored me because every other dealer said "oh year it is in excellent condition, come on in!! ". So anyways he walked around the vehicle with me on the phone and was 100% transparent, noting very minor scratches while also giving me exact tread readings on the tires. Though he sounded like he was being honest, I still had my doubts being I was driving 3 hours and missing a day from work. When I arrived I was please to see Matt Nedin ready for me, and eager to show me the car. It was detailed well, and everything was exactly as he stated, even down to the 3/4 inch scratch on the back bumper, lol.. but that is ok, it was a used car and it can be fixed. The part I liked is that I didnt waste my entire day yet again going to see a car that wasn't what it was presented to be. In short., if you want to work with a professional, especially if you live far away, ask for Matt Nedin. He will make it simple and smooth. Thanks, and hope this helps someone to save some time and money. Robert More

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Matt Nedin, young guy with a lot of energy and knowledge about his product! I do LOVE THE JEEP I bought, but honestly, it was the knowledge, experience, and efficiency of my salesman. I found a car I loved within 15 minutes and was out within 60 minutes after that. What else can you ask for? If you go to this dealership, do yourself a favor and ask for Matt Nedin. He will take good care of you, just let him know Janet from Chagrin Falls who bought the Cherokee referred you. I have stopped up a few times since I bought the car for various things and he remembers me. Just a pointer to save you some money! Thanks everyone. More

Horrible Customer Service. Frank Chahulski is THE WORST I wanted to buy a car with Ganley and work out a deal for a new challenger over the phone. Everything was going well, sent me a bill of sale and every I wanted to buy a car with Ganley and work out a deal for a new challenger over the phone. Everything was going well, sent me a bill of sale and everything, until it came time for a rough estimate of my trade value. Frank got EXTREMELY RUDE with me about my trade, raised his voice at me over the phone when I calmly told him I know the value of my trade and what I will accept for it. He told me they would have to see it in person, which I understand completely. I told him I wasn't coming up there for them to lowball me and give me a thousand less than the car was worth. I told him the car was appraised at TWO DIFFERENT local dealerships for at least 16500. He said send the appraisal to him and bring it with me when I came up there. I did what he asked, calling the first dealership and asking them to send an email with my trade value on their letterhead. Frank got the email and told me it was "useless...and for all I knew this could be my COUSIN writing the email." Are you serious, Frank. At the two other online dealerships I bought from, the deal was done over the phone...price agreed to..trade in price agreed to as long as everything checked out with my vehicle, papers drawn and credit done, too. Just sign and walk away. PLEASE DON'T GO TO GANLEY. Frank has ruined the experience for me...and will probably insult you too by saying that, "...for all I know..it could have been your cousin writing the letter from one of the local dealerships." WOW. He then asked if he could call the dealership, I mean, whatever floats your boat, buddy. It was the STRANGEST AND MOST RUDE salesman I have ever met. And I am in the service industry, I was never once rude to this man. For this reason, I WILL NEVER shop at ANY Ganley lot. What a joke. You catch more flies with honey, not vinegar. Maybe you should have learned that trick after so many years of doing this, Frank...just saying. I have NEVER felt so belated by a salesman in my life. More

If you want ignored, belittled, blamed, labeled a liar, talked to in a demeaning manner, talked over, be without your vehicle for days on end, and leave with issues still not fixed, then this is where you want to be. But most of us are looking for Customer Service with Satisfaction. I would rather push my car for miles to find another place to service my car! Nick is offensive, argumentative, and unable to carry a conversation where you are not forced to scream to be heard. Paul Crowe could have cared less about the actions of Nick and added in a few of his own bad traits. Mr. Rick Heller's comment to Nick's behavior was that well we have had others comment about his demeanor. Thats it? Wow if you can't get some type of satisfaction from Management then why would would anyone buy or service a car from this place! Bottom line: Car is still not correct and no one cares More
