Horrible Customer Service If I could give a rating less than one that would a more accurately represent my experience with Kemna auto. I found a vehicle at their dealership tha If I could give a rating less than one that would a more accurately represent my experience with Kemna auto. I found a vehicle at their dealership that I was interested in. Kemna is a bit of a distance from where I live so I wanted to get an idea first of what my trade in vehicle was worth and was offered 5k by another dealership. When I went to Kemna they could only offer 3K (although they later said 4) so I couldn't close on vehicle at Kemna that day but had to sell my car and arrange a ride to travel back. I was in communication with my dealer consistently and had an appointment as to when I would come buy the vehicle. I sold my car they day before my appointment after texting the dealer that we were still good to go but then 3 hours before I was to leave to buy the vehicle they informed me that they had sold it out from under me, and left me with no transportation. I actually had to miss a business trip the following morning and spent two weeks paying for cabs and inconveniencing my schedule to accommodate. I got one text from my dealer apologizing saying they could still work something out for me. I didn't hear from any management until I sent an email explaining my situation. Even when the manager finally got back to me and asked if they could still help me find a car or transpiration in the meantime he never followed through and shockingly I never heard back after that phone call. I understand mistakes happening but the horrible service and complete lack of concern for the situation their mistake put me in is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. It's also worth noting that when I finally found a vehicle that was nearly the same at another dealership, I paid over one thousand less, got an interest rate 1.6% better than what kemna could offer me and sold my car to another dealership for 2K more than kemna could offer. So not only is their management and customer service deplorable you can find a better deal at MANY other dealerships. I would advise anyone not to do business with this dealership. More

Dylan Drummond was my sale Yesterday I purchased a 2015 Chevy Cruze from Kemna Auto in Fort Dodge, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Dylan Drummond was my sales consultant and I would recommend him to everybody! He really made the purchase of my car feel personalized and special! As soon as I walked in to the car dealership, I was greeted with friendly smiles, and three people asked me how I was doing that day. Right away I felt welcomed and secure. I also visited Fort Dodge Ford that day, and had to wait five minutes before a consultant even greeted us. I was not impressed by the overall experience there, and from the beginning I felt like I knew, even though I went into the dealership with an unbiased mind, that I would side with Kemna Auto based on my first impression. I had a fabulous experience at Kemna of Fort Dodge!! I would recommend this dealership to EVERYONE! I chose to visit Kemna for many reasons, but one is that they have given back so much to our community, would recommend this dealership to EVERYONE! I stopped in when I sold my car much sooner than expected and was in a panic to find something quick! I stopped in at 5pm on a Friday night, not realizing they closed at 6pm. I walked in and said that I needed to find a car quick. Not only did I find a car, I found a car I never imagined I would be able to buy. My salesman, Joseph Holley listened to exactly what I was looking for, and took his time, even though it was close to closing time on a Friday night. I told him I could come back on Saturday. He said he was gonna stay as long as he needed to help me. It was wonderful. Caleb in finance was so wonderful also. I was going to finance the vehicle through my bank, but he got me the great financing on an amazing car that, as I said, I never thought I could drive away with. Caleb was so quick in helping me secure financing, and was so kind. I have never met some one who was so good at their job. An hour and a half after closing time, I was able to drive the car I picked out home. I have never experienced such wonderful customer service. Everyone in there were so much fun and just so friendly and nice! They wanted me to walk away happy, and I walked away hugging everyone with a brand new car! The next day, I went back to learn all of the "Features" of the car and Joseph sat in the car and walked through everything with me from the XM radio, all of the controls, to setting up my OnStar. I cannot tell you enough what a wonderful experience this was. I would give them 10 stars! They are amazing and I will continue to recommend them to everyone! More

I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Kemna! I needed a new car and I needed one fast, because my previous car reached the end of it's life unexpectedly. I live in Ames and had no way to get to Fort Dodge, since I had no car. Caleb worked with me to get all the financing squared away over the phone. He knew I needed a car quickly and worked hard to make sure I could get financed right away. The next day, they sent a driver down to pick me up in Ames and I was able to drive the car back to the dealership to sign the paperwork. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and they made me feel like a valued customer. I would definitely recommend Kemna to anyone looking to buy a car. More
