I had scheduled an appointment via the My Buick / Onstar app but upon arrival I was directed to the ‘quick service lane’ at the Ford Building for my request. Instead of a scheduled appointment that put me ‘ app but upon arrival I was directed to the ‘quick service lane’ at the Ford Building for my request. Instead of a scheduled appointment that put me ‘in the queue’ with other drive-in clients. Nobody at service desk to greet or discuss. I walked into the shop and approached a mechanic to inquire if I was in the proper location whom was friendly/helpful and directed me to a waiting area. After roughly 45 minutes waiting and seeing my car backed away from the service building to bring other clients through I finally watched my vehicle enter for service. Once this occurred the maintenance team was very swift and thorough, even checked a few periodic items and suggested some improvements which I happily accepted. Appointment for a ‘quick oil change’ took nearly an hour of waiting before the car was even rolled into a bay. What’s the point of scheduling service via the app if they simply drop you in to first-come-first-serve sequence? If that’s how it is, no problem for future visits. But there was no communication of this until arrival and the first I heard from a rep was him asking if I wanted to change air filters while we were there. More
