Xpress Service not exactly "express". I dropped my car off for an oil change and multi-point inspection on July 3rd (Thurs). Normally I would call days ahead to make an appointment for th I dropped my car off for an oil change and multi-point inspection on July 3rd (Thurs). Normally I would call days ahead to make an appointment for this, but the service rep told me about their Xpress service in which I can just stop by and have the service done quickly. I brought my car in at 9am that Thurs, and the service rep was very cordial and was able to initiate the process quickly. He did warn me that they were busy that day, but expected it to be done in 2-3 hours. Since I had arranged a ride home, I decided to leave my car there and asked the rep to call me when it is ready. After waiting for 3 1/2 hours, I called the service dept to see if my car was ready to be picked up. The rep told me it was just entering the bay and should be ready in 1 1/2 hours. After waiting an additional 2 hours, I called again to ask if the car was ready. The rep said they were finishing up and it would be another 20 mins. I told the rep that I would start heading over there in anticipation for the car to be ready. I arrived at the dealership in 10 mins and I had to wait another 30 mins before the car was ready. All told, I dropped my car off at 9am and it was not ready until 2:40pm. The whole time the service reps were very nice, so I have no complaints there. I just feel that if you advertise "Xpress Service", then it should not take over 5 1/2 hours to complete a routine oil change and inspection. -Mike Silveira More

I always look forward to having my car vacuumed but this time they did a poor job. More
I had a very positive experience recently with Kelly VW. They were able to really come through with great customer service after an initial issue with a snow tire installation. I only gave 4s for: Quality of Work: I did have to go back, so that's why they were dinged a point. However, the level of service provided leading up to and during the return visit was fantastic. Overall Experience: Again, I did have to go back, hence they were dinged a point. I do admit to have been in a bit of a sticky wicket on the initial visit - having been towed in with two flat tires (potholes!) - so I couldn't even leave under my own power since the spare was already used. And they didn't have a loaner available, or I would've left the car - and that probably would've avoided the return visit. So, having to go back, and not having a loaner available I think merits losing a point. Otherwise, the experience was very, very good. More
Came in for loud road noise on my GTI. Received a loaner which was hugely helpful. Dave P. took down all of my info, and was very respectful of my time. Kept me updated on progress. Horrible experience in the service department. No interest in customer care. Didn't make repairs requested. Eager to suggest other repairs not covered by warranty. i brought my tiguan in for the 2week inspection...at that time i had the coupon for the $25 gift card, when i brought it over to the reception, brendon kelly was standing there. i asked the receptionist if time i had the coupon for the $25 gift card, when i brought it over to the reception, brendon kelly was standing there. i asked the receptionist if i could get my coupon validated and brandon jump in and said a very firm NO, that i had to bring it at the time of the test drive, and if they honored it that day 2weeks later, then anybody could come in and ask for the gift card...i just looked at him as said, i guess....i wonder how many people bring in a brand new VW that they just had purchased 2 weeks prior asking to get a coupon validated for the gift card????? Very surprised by this and put off...every other employee i had dealt with was exceptional...i have to say the service man that checked my car was Outstanding!!!! More
Took 3.25 hours for a basic 20k service. Appointment was for 8 AM and told 1.5-2 hours(which still seemed a lot of time) Asked for no tire rotation or car wash which should have sped things up. They did need to do road test(1.2 miles according to odo) and flash DSG. Also looked at sticking doors and "lubed door seals". Wasted half my day and will try to avoid in future for any service needs.... I could have driven to Wellesley VW(bought the car there and great service dept), had service and likely been home in the same time. People seemed freindly, but no sense of urgency to get the car done and back to me in a timely manner, or update me on the progress. Disappointed.... Jeff More
