Background: My son (attending med school at Drexel in PA) had managed to blow the tranny on his vehicle. Living in NH, I purchased a 2000 Jetta, and was to deliver it to him PA. What I did not know until picking up the vehicle, was it came with only one key - and no remote. Kelly VW was stepped up its game by not only overnighting the factory keys, but fitting me into an already tight service department schedule. Outstanding... I was quoted a five to six day lead time by the other area VW dealership. Erica Gorey (service consultant) was instrumental in providing this service excellence. The only down fall- Cost of one key and a remote: $176.00. Cost of programming: An additional $103... Was it worth the cost to insure my boy was safe in the heart of Philadelphia? - Absolutely. More

After researching new cars for some time, I decided on a VW Sportwagen TDI. My dilemma was finding a dealer. To my surprise and delight I found that Kelly Automotive Group had opened a VW dealership. I have owned 17 vehicles over the years, now 18, and 11 of them have been purchased from a Kelly dealership. I had service and sales issues with all but one of the other 7 vehicles I purchased elsewhere. My experience with other Kelly Automotive Group dealership's service and sales departments has now made my purchase choices easy when looking for a dealer. Go to Kelly! I would not have even considered VW seriously if it were not for Kelly owning the dealership. I have to go a little bit out of my way to go to the VW dealership, but I know it's worth the extra drive time. My experience so far - (I purchased the car three weeks ago) - has been typical Kelly for me. A respectful sales staff and an efficient service staff. My experience with my sales consultant, George Sousa, only reinforced my appreciation of the "Kelly culture". The negotiating experience was not intimidating, and the delivery was smooth. He has followed up with me several times to see how things were going. Eryn also added positively to the purchasing experience with her professional walk-through with me about the financial details. The only reason I have current knowledge of the service staff at this dealership is due to me wanting to have some additional equipment added to the car - the Sportwagen TDI is great by the way. Three other people were waiting for their cars while I was there. We started talking, two others had bought cars from Kelly before and had had similar good experiences. The third person was a first-timer who regretted not going to Kelly before. While waiting, Avery,the service adviser, stopped by frequently to talk to one or two of us about the progress on our cars. He even offered rides home with a return later if any of us felt that we were waiting too long. If there are better dealerships out there, I haven't found them. More
