I think I just completed the fastest car buying experience ever! On Sat we drove to Kelly to inquire about a used VW convertible bug. On Sunday, we drove off the lot in it! This was made possible by the awesome, attentive job Tom provided us-as well as the other staff members who I'm sorry to say don't recall their names! Tom showed us 2 convertibles & knowing I really wanted the bug, he was able to work the numbers to make it possible for me to get the bug. The entire car buying experience was actually painless-it was friendly, it wasn't pushy and it was really quite pleasant. I've been in horror stories regarding car salesmen and in no way does Kelly VW & their staff hint at such an experience. I would tell anyone who wanted to buy a car to go see Kelly VW right now! We test drove a 2012 Tiguan which literally sold itself. The deal that was made with our used vehicle was the deal we wanted. I was almost waiting for the other shoe to drop this was too easy. Couple all of this with the 0.9% financing it proved to be an exceptional experience. Steve was highly professional and courteous and I highly recommend anyone shopping for a car stop in and see him. This is my 3rd Volkswagon lease and hands-down my best experience EVER! The staff at Kelly Volkswagon were second to none. Brendan Kelly was extremely knowledgeable and personalble. He very kindly explained all of my options for "extras", including which ones he thought were the most important for me to consider. He also went over some service issues. I really appreciated his time and patience. My previous lease was from another dealership, and none of these items were discussed with me! Interesting? Of all the wonderful things I could say regarding the service I received, I would like to comment on what I noticed overall. The fact that everyone was dressed in a suit gave a certain professional feel to the dealership that I really enjoyed. So often, that is not the case! Every single person I encountered greeted me, offered to help, etc. I understand Mr. Kelly has very high standards, and it shows! Finally, I would like to thank everyone who flexed their muscle last Mon. PM when I came to pick up my car. The rear license plate was literally bolted into my previous car. It took, I believe four gentlemen trying various and sundry methods to get the plate off!!! Finally, success! Tom was very attentive and thorough. We had just been screwed by another dealership and dealing with Kelly was like night-and day. They did not order the correct part when they were getting the navigation system I ordered, so they refunded my money AND paid me to get a Tom Tom which was very generous. Everyone was easy to deal with. They restored my faith in car salesmen and in Volkswagen. I highly recommend them. More
