Last year when I was shopping for an Id4 I was told that I could charge the car at any Volkswagen dealership. This was a selling point. When I just called to ask whether their charger was operational so I c I could charge the car at any Volkswagen dealership. This was a selling point. They essentially said that I had imagined what they had told me. Mind you, charging for an hour would maybe cost them $2. They were adament that I couldn't charge my car and were jerks about it. More

I brought my Jetta for service, as I usually do except for oil changes, about a month ago. While the repairs (tires, alignment oxygen sensor) were expensive I always trust them for good work. Peter took all the time I needed to help me understand all the ins and outs of an EV which I have not had before. He was great. The only downside was after we had almost closed the deal with the business manager, I was presented with the extended warranty, almost 3k in addition. I would have been happier had this been presented up front with a discussion on pros and cons. Turns out this is a typical practice and in my opinion, not a good one. Otherwise, a very positive experience. More
