Purchased a 2007 car here. The car was a lease which was being traded in. I was fortunate enough to actually meet the previous owner who told me all about the car while I was there. As far as I know they h being traded in. I was fortunate enough to actually meet the previous owner who told me all about the car while I was there. As far as I know they had been honest about everything (even when i questioned the previous owner about the same history of the car)No one lied to me at all !. They pushed the warranty which i bought, however even with excellent credit i had a interest rate which was kind of high. I found out later that they probably could have offered me a lower rate if i had held out for a bit. Wish i had known that sooner!. Overall good experience. More
As a walk in customer for a used vehicle I was given a sale price for a vehicle which was well above the advertised internet price (I was unaware of the internet price at the time of my visit). I was als sale price for a vehicle which was well above the advertised internet price (I was unaware of the internet price at the time of my visit). I was also told the Kelly Blue Book value for the car was greater than what is actually on the KBB web site. The car was pretty much exactly what I was looking for and I did in fact purchase the vehicle. The car was advertised on the net for $10,995, the price I was given was $12,500. I'm not really disputing the price of the vehicle, what concerns me is the fact that I was lied to. The salesman, nor the dealer, never mentioned the on-line advertised price, he also told me the KBB value was $13,900 (in reality the Blue Book value is $11,195). I was also told Mr. Kelly (the dealer who was my first contact) had given me a price below the actual asking price, NOT TRUE. The truth is, we like the car, a VW New Beetle. I'm just very disappointed with the fact the salesman lied to me not once, but twice. Buyer beware! ! More
Poor response to problems occurring during warranty. Attitude implying customer is putting them out by showing up with a problem needing attention during warranty. Unsatisfactory repair of defective par Attitude implying customer is putting them out by showing up with a problem needing attention during warranty. Unsatisfactory repair of defective part and later (still under warranty) unsatisfactory replacement of same defective part. As a customer, I felt unwelcome and don't ever want to return! Note: This makes me never want to buy a car from same dealer again. The vehicle I was bringing in for service under the warranty I had bought new from this dealer. The sales guy was pretty sleazy, too! If I want to go to a Subaru dealer again, I'd rather make a 3- or 4-hour drive to a city with at least one other Subaru dealer to find a better (if that's possible) dealer. I love my car but can't stand this dealer! If Subaru wants to keep its customer-oriented and high quality image it needs to improve its customer service in both the sales and service areas! More
