In fact, everyone in the dealership, from Parts to Sales to Billing is friendly and willing to spend time to please. Mike Walsh (my service advisor) is the most honest, outgoing, professional service employee I've ever encountered. He has always gone out of his way to explain repairs in detail and always attempts to avoid costly repairs and present alternatives. The important thing is that he sets aside the time to be thorough and truly cares about the satisfaction of each customer. I've owned 8 Nissans and been to lots of dealerships, and there is a very noticeable difference in the way these folks conduct themselves. There is a great deal of interaction between service advisors and technicians, so questions get answered quickly and accurately (techs. Jim and Tony have treated my vehicle with care and taken a prudent interest in what's best in terms of safety, performance and expense). Shawn (Parts Mgr) was kind enough to pre-order special parts and not charge me until I actually decided to have my vehicle fixed. I can't say enough about how easy it is to deal with these folks and how professionally they conduct themselves. I would highly recommend that anyone with a Nissan in need of repair give them a shot --I don't think you'll be disappointed. My 2004 Titan has undergone some major repairs after 80,000 miles of loyal service. Thanks to Nissan Woburn, it's ready for another 80k! More
I love my Nissan Maxima and I am absolutely thrilled that I bought it from IRA Nissan of Woburn. Very professional operation with quality sales and service staff. How do I know this? Well on two occassion I bought it from IRA Nissan of Woburn. Very professional operation with quality sales and service staff. How do I know this? Well on two occassions I was in a jam and Michael Walsh came to my rescue. Last May, after only owning the car for 1 month, it would not start. I called the service department after closing hours, and Michael answered the phone and calmed me down. He walked me through a several steps, but it was clear that the battery was dead, and that I must have left the auxilary switch on. He said all I needed was a jumpstart and he was right!! He waited until I called back before leaving for the day. Today more stress. I had locked both my keys in the car (I guess they cancel each other out)and was in a panic; handbag, phone, groceries, etc were all in the car at a store parking lot, and I desperately need to get into my car. It was very close to 5:00, but I called IRA and again Michael Walsh answered. He said they could make a spare door key, and that he would wait for me. I arrived at 6:00 (30 minutes after the normal closing time) and Michael was there as promised. Now this is service!! I highly recommend IRA Nissan of Woburn... all the best, Mary McClory More

I had the absolute best experience my last visit. I had a list of items I had to get repaired but only had a small budget to work with. Michael went above and beyond to make sure all my top priority safety i list of items I had to get repaired but only had a small budget to work with. Michael went above and beyond to make sure all my top priority safety items would be taken care of first within my budget. They even managed to replace some extra items at no additional cost. They say not to go to the dealer to save money, but I saved money, time and worry about my safety coming here. I've never dealt with a dealer with great people, who care about their customers safety above all. Their flexibility with my budget makes me a long lasting customer. Michael handled my services in a professional manner and has been the best service attendant I've ever worked with. I highly recommend this place. More
Michael Walsh was extremely cordial and very professional. He managed to solve all my issues quickly all the while constantly keeping me well informed of the jobs prior to actually starting. Onc professional. He managed to solve all my issues quickly all the while constantly keeping me well informed of the jobs prior to actually starting. Once the job was completed, he contacted me again to advise what was done, why it was done and advised my car was ready to be picked up. I felt he did everything possible to up-sell customer satisfaction and therefore, I am extremely pleased with the job performed. More
I took my car for oil change and to investigave the noise coming from one of the front tires. After they checked everything in the car, I was told there is nothing wrong exept the tires. They told me to get coming from one of the front tires. After they checked everything in the car, I was told there is nothing wrong exept the tires. They told me to get 4 brand new tires and the noise will be gone. I bought the tires and left my car there. Finally, i got a hold with them after 5 tries, trying to find out if my car is done, and when I get there to pick up my car, they told me the noise is not completely gone, but everything is fine with my car. And the reason I still have noise because of the mileage of the car(90K but my car is in mint condition, never been in the accident). On top of it they scratched the rims very badly while changing tires!! And they broke air monitor on one of the tires!!! Overall, they said they are denying everything!! I went for a noise, and got a bill of 1350$, and the noise is not fixed. After that my local mechanic gave an estimate of 200$ to fix the noise. Your service is horrible!! And expensive!! More
I brought my car in for air conditioning repair. At first IRA, claimed it was the compressor, $$$ for repair, 4 weeks later brought it back and they claimed now it was the condenser, after a few phone calls IRA, claimed it was the compressor, $$$ for repair, 4 weeks later brought it back and they claimed now it was the condenser, after a few phone calls they agreed for me to pay for the part only which was fair. The winter comes and goes and then in late spring, the system again is not working, I ended up dealing with the general manager who investigated the problem and resolved my issue to my satisfaction. I cculdn't be happier or more impressed with the service I received. I did not buy my car from them, but theri service was actully better than the dealership where I did buy the car! They not only didn't I received. I did not buy my car from them, but theri service was actully better than the dealership where I did buy the car! They not only didn't pressure me to get additional services, the mechanic checked out my tires and they actually told me that they were fine! The price for an oil change was so reasonble compared to my gas station mechanic, it's realy worth it, since they check everything out, vacuum it and did the work while I waited. I will not only go back there for all my service, I'd want to check them out for my next car. More
I have had spotty service from this dealership, but it's hours were OK and I just wanted a car inspection and oil change. No biggie. I dropped it off for an appointment scheduled for "first thing on Satur hours were OK and I just wanted a car inspection and oil change. No biggie. I dropped it off for an appointment scheduled for "first thing on Saturday" and was told they would call when it was done. Noon comes and goes and no call. I called and was told that all the mechanics were "at lunch" (which is understandable) and they would get it right after they came back. The dealership closes at 4 on Saturday. I wait until 3:45 and I *still* haven't heard from them. I give them *another* call and finally reach someone who says basically, "Oh yeah, your car failed inspection. It will need about $1000 worth of work but we're about to close. We can keep it until Monday." Ummm hello? You couldn't have told me in the morning WHEN THE CAR WAS SCHEDULED TO BE LOOKED AT?!!! The manager tells me he would talk to someone Monday morning and call me first thing. It's 11 AM now on Monday, but haven't had a call yet. I called and left a message with the manager but apparently he has more important things to do than keep promises. I don't mind that the car needs a lot of work. It has over 140K on it so that was expected. However, would it kill you to talk to your customer without the customer having to chase you down? More
I scheduled maintenance for my old Altima on Wed. I wanted the regular scheduled maintenance to be performed and to investigate a "check engine" light that periodically turns on and off. I dropped the wanted the regular scheduled maintenance to be performed and to investigate a "check engine" light that periodically turns on and off. I dropped the car off on Thr night. On Friday morning, I received a call from Stephanie stating that the maintenance charge would be $350. I told her that I appreciate the call and to give me a call once the technician diagnoses the service light. She called back two hours later stating that the amount of work that's need to be performed on the car is greater than the cars worth. I told her that I'll talk to a sales rep regarding the purchase of a new Maxima then. She told me that they already started the maintenance work (even though I didn't approve it). Since I understood how there could have been a miscommunication, I agreed to the $350 charge (even though it really wasn't my fault! I was being really nice). When I arrived at the dealership, the bill was for $450. I disputed the $100 difference. Stephanie insisted that I should have known that there was an additional $100 charge to investigate the light when I made the appointment. I made the appointment with her and I told her that she never discussed this charge in the 3 times that we spoke. She then told me that it was in the email confirmation that they send. Since I had my iphone with me, I showed her the email and how there was no reference to this charge. She accused my of lying and that I should have known there would have been a $100 charge because "they need to get paid too". I told her that the charge is excessive and I don't appreciate being treated like this, particularly when I'm in the building looking for a new car. She then "adjusted" the $100 charge by $50. She said that if I was smart enough to look at the web site, I would have realized that they had a $50 coupon. She applied the $50 coupon to be "nice" and then walked away. I was furious and told her that I'm not going to purchase a new vehicle from her after the way she treated me. She shrugged her shoulders and walked off. They lost a $35k sale from me. Hopefully they'll also lose a sale from everyone who reads this review! Stephanie needs to be fired. She's an assistant manager in the service department. If this is the quality of their management, then EVERYONE needs to stay away from this dealership. There's lots of options out there (Norwood, Clay in Newton, etc). Don't waste your time at Ira Nissan in Woburn! More
