I just wanted to say Thank You to Nate Hughes (my salesman) for selling me my new 2012 Nissan Altima and my 2012 GMC Acadia. The Kelly Dealership is not just Nissan they also own GMC and I bought one salesman) for selling me my new 2012 Nissan Altima and my 2012 GMC Acadia. The Kelly Dealership is not just Nissan they also own GMC and I bought one from both dealers. He was very patient and calm during both transactions. Nate exhibited complete professionalism and a positive attitude during both purchases. As we all know it can be stressful when buying vehicles, but Nate made the experience much easier. Nate is a great salesman and a very nice rounded young man. Thanks again, I am another happy KELLY customer More
Like to say a few things about our used car purchase at Kelly Nissan. We found the car on line and went to the dealership to look at the car. After several trips to other area car dealerships we found Kell Kelly Nissan. We found the car on line and went to the dealership to look at the car. After several trips to other area car dealerships we found Kelly Nissan to be quite refreshing and our salesman Alan Aimer was the best. This was our daughter's first car purchase and he was very informative, helpful and patient. We will definately consider Kelly Nissan and Alan Aimer in the future. Thank you Kelly Nissan for NOT having a disco ball. Kelly Nissan was a great car buying experience. More
I went to buy a car. Kelly nissan was first on my list. I was greeted buy Don Riley and from the first meet i realized i was in good hands. Not only did he have our best interest in mind, but he gave us options as to new or pre-owned. We had a trade and were given a fair price. Some people think there trade is made of gold and want more then its worth. These people are stupid! Being a woman in her twenties, its easy to be taken advantage of but not once did i feel that way with don. He did joke a lot and it made me feel at ease. i would buy from him again and kelly. If you dont want a pushy salesman go see don. More
DON'T BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I bought a used car that I was told by the salesman BILL P. that these cars are all looked over and passed their 151pt inspection. I told Bill, please do not sell me car that I was told by the salesman BILL P. that these cars are all looked over and passed their 151pt inspection. I told Bill, please do not sell me a car that will leave me nickeled and dimed! He said “Every car we sell you, we feel comfortable selling to you”. So I bought this used car..I just lost my job a few months ago and had nothing else to put down on this car…it was the only thing I can afford at the time. I had the car a little over a month, got my first oil change and smack!! I had an oil Leak! I called Kelly Nissan to let them know that I had a big oil leak and they said "How many miles are on the car?” I said “153,000” the sales manager said “well, what you want with a car that has 153,000 + miles on it!? These things happen to even new cars”……Well, if you guys CHECKED OVER EVERYTHING LIKE YOU TOLD ME YOU DID, YOU WOULD'VE NOTICED THAT AND NEVER SOLD ME THE CAR!! WELL, I paid $3,000 for the car, drove it for 5,000 miles and the thing left me stranded on the side of the highway. I just got an oil change done and 2 days before, the whole engine blew. I thought the oil that caused it, nope, that was full. I took it to my mechanic and he said I needed a new engine and it would cost me over $3,000+ for a used engine. I WASTED MY MONEY AND TIME listening to these clowns at Kelly Nissan! The past 4 months, I have been working and I got a really good job. I am in the position to buy a brand new 370z or a WRX STi right now, but I will tell you this, new or used, I will NEVER buy a car from these guys again! They tell you one thing, they give you a crappy warranty on used cars “AS-IS” and after that time is up, if you have any problems shortly after that, they do not want to work with you. They tell you that you knew you were buying a used “AS-IS” car and on they go. Well, I’ll make sure to never recommend Kelly Nissan to ANYBODY in the future! **Update** 1/27/2012 Spke with Mike, sales Manager and he was very helpful. He told me he would help me out on tax and tags if I purchase another car from them. I told him I'd think about it. I already purchased another car elsewhere from Daniels BMW...at least they stand by all their cars to the end. More
We went to this dealership to look into purchasing a new vehicle because we wanted more space. We recieved a promotion in the mail for Nissan's year end clearance event, which stated that if we made a test vehicle because we wanted more space. We recieved a promotion in the mail for Nissan's year end clearance event, which stated that if we made a test drive appointment online and showed up we would receive a $25 Visa Gift Card and if you purchased a new 2011 model, you'd get a flat screen TV and if you purchased a vehicle in the event timeline you'd get $100 off the purchase price. We went with the intent of looking at ALL models, but with more interest in a Murano. The event flyer stated that they would help you keep your same payments or even lower when you used your trade. This would have been the deal breaker for us, we were not going to purchase a vehicle if we could not keep our same payments. This is the very first thing we told our salesman, we wanted the same payments and something with more space. We looked at the 2011 Nissan Murano- and right away I knew it was not enough space and said that. He then brought us a used, certified Nissan Pathfinder to test drive because he felt that we wouldnt be able to afford the payments on a new SUV. When we looked at it, I knew that it was the size I was looking for. On the test drive, after I said that it was exactly what I had in mind, Don tried to convince me to consider leasing- bc it was better financially for us- then he tried to convince me to get a used minvan ( at more than one point during our visit) - and when I said that I would never drive a mini van ( that im not that kind of mom) he told me I would need to "bite the bullet at some point" and "that was probably my only option if I wanted more space at the amount I was willing to pay". To me this is someone who is not listening to me. I know what I want and and he just wanted to ensure he would make a sale- so he was trying to get me to buy something he thought I could afford instead of something I really wanted. After we got back to discuss #'s - the best they could do was way out of our price range. On top of that- they gave my trade- a 2008 Senta (that I bought in 2009 brand new)- a "fair" grade. That was rediculous to me- the car is in good condition. They took $400 off because they'd need to replace the tires- which in my opinion is rediculous- the tires were recently changed but I get that they are going to do everything they have to in order to not give up any profit. When they could not give us a good price, apparently 10% APR is the best they have to offer- we left. What I did not like, is everytime our salesman went to "see what he could do" he came back with a marginal move and just kept saying that "this was coming out of his pocket" and that he really wanted to help us out so he was willing to do that. That was very interesting considering he NEVER came down on the price of the vehicle. Ever. Just changed around terms and kept telling us we wouldnt ever be able to get the payment we were looking for. Over the duration of the following week, I recived multiple emails and calls from Don that were very pushy salesman like. Such as, "you need to get down here and make this purchase I cant guarentee it will be here" " i dont want you to regret not buying this " You need to call me so we can discuss this purchase I cant promise this will be here tomorrow" "this is a really good deal the vehicle might get sold over the weekend" pressing me to give them $500 to hold the vehicle etc...it goes on and on. Beyond that- he talked to me like I was a kid at some points and was very condescending on our phone calls when I wanted to discuss financing. When I asked him through email about the $25 GC and the $100 off the purchase before we went to purchase it, he said "he'd do it" and that "it would come off his comission".... well according to the event- we were entitled to that! AND WE DIDNT EVEN GET IT!!! And the cherry on top: I left them with my trade with a FULL tank of gas and they gave me an SUV with a quarter tank of gas! And when I mentioned it- he said "they dont do that anymore " that meaning send you home with a proper tank of gas.I just spent $25,000 and you cant spare a tank of gas? Overall, Nissan is a great brand with quality vehicles which is why we returned to purchase another vehicle from them. However from this experience, this will most likely be our last Nissan purchase from this dealership. Important to note, when we got home we noticed the rear window did not open, the windshield wipers on the vehicle were torn and the jack and tools for the spare were missing. We notified the salesman and Nissan took care of those issues without any problems. In the end, our financing came from our own bank- they gave us a GREAT rate at 5.5% and we kept the same payment- which is exactly what Don said we'd never be able to do. More
