This was my first visit to Kelly Chrysler, my car started making a loud squeaking noise all of a sudden and this was the closest shop. It kind of scared me so I didn't want to drive it any further to the shop I normally use. Well, let me tell you, I will be using Kelly and asking for Mr. Dave Vrabel from now on! Dave was pleasant and greeted me with a smile which was what I needed because I was a nervous wreck about my car! He assured me that they could get me in right away with no appointment and offered me a shuttle ride home so that they had time to find the problem. I was only home for a short while when Dave called to say my car could be fixed and back on the road right away! It only needed a minor part replaced. I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was and how great the service was at Kelly! I got a ride back in the shuttle and when home feeling great! Kudos to Dave and his mechanics for fast friendly service and totally affordable repair that I was afraid was going to be big bucks and time without my car! Thanks Dave and thanks Kelly Chrysler! Jude was extremely pleasant and personable. We had one minor stumble during the process of purchasing the vehicle. The original offer for financing was for 2.99%. I informed Jude, and subsequently Brian minor stumble during the process of purchasing the vehicle. The original offer for financing was for 2.99%. I informed Jude, and subsequently Brian, that I was aware of the current Jeep special financing rate of 1.9% for 60 months. They at first attempted to provide an explanation for the offered rate without acknowledging that Jeep did in fact have special financing. I insisted several times that they look into the special financing before they agreed. Brian later indicated that he may be able to obtain an even better rate for us than the current Jeep special financing (basically admitting he was aware of the special financing). Ultimately he did obtain a better rate for us, however had we not know of the special financing we would have been given the increased rate for no reason. It is recommended that financing options be clearly stated. There is no reason not to inform customers of any potential special financing, other than trying to make additional monies for the dealer's preferred lenders (at the expense of the customer). One item is outstanding regarding our new purchase, it is anticipated that Jude will be getting back to us shortly. During our first visit at the dealer, and ultimately the day we decided to purchase the vehicle, my wife Maria indicated she had only one "must have" item which was a Navigation system. Jude had indicated that the vehicle we were looking at, and subsequently purchased, had Navigation. The next day when we took delivery of the vehicle he apologized and noted he had made a mistake and the vehicle was Nav "ready" and did not have Navigation installed on it. He indicated we would need to purchase the install, at full price, if we were interested. I requested he look into what could be done to provide the install to us since he admittedly indicated he made a mistake when noting the vehicle had it, not to mention we had just spent $40k + on the new vehicle and we had also provided a very simple/smooth sale for both him and the dealership (there really was not much he or the dealership needed to do to make the sale since we basically knew what we wanted when we showed up). We are hopeful that this will result in an amicable solution. Regardless of the few minor "bumps" during our experience we would still like to thank Larry, Jude, and Brian for what was a pleasant transaction and one which we hope turns out as an overall satisfying experience. I was visiting relatives in NY and was on my way home when the starter went in my car. I live in MD and when I made it to Allentown I was afraid to drive it any further. It was late Sunday evening so my son and I stayed in a hotel and waited for the dealership to open. I talked with Dave and he gave me the number for the towing service and suggested that we would be more comfortable waiting at the hotel and he would call me. When he called me he explained that it was my starter and that the part would not be in until the next day. I explained to him that I had already put our suitcases in the car. He was extremely helpful in getting our suitcases back to us with the courtesy driver and by 11 am the next morning the courtesy car was back to pick us up where I met Dave. He drove my car right up to the front door and my son and I were back on the road, and shortly after returning to my hometown Dave gave me a courtesy call to make sure I made it home safely and had no other issues with my vehicle. We went there looking for a dodge but when we saw the price of the jeep it made us take a second look. Now after driving that Jeep Compass this winter, I can tell you I am really glad we went with that price of the jeep it made us take a second look. I have to say that I am super confident when driving this car in the bad weather. I love the slap stick and hardly need to put it in four wheel drive when using it in the snow. We also like the leg room it provides in the back for our long legged sons. So, thanks Stan for being so friendly and patient with our test drive and decision making process.
