A friend of ours had purchased 2 used vehicles from Kelly within the past 2 years, and given his high praise of his first experience in particular, we kept checking inventory on Kelly's Web site throughout o within the past 2 years, and given his high praise of his first experience in particular, we kept checking inventory on Kelly's Web site throughout our recent car search, which spanned the past several months. After a deal with another local used car dealer fell through, we went over to Kelly, just to see whether there was anything new in the inventory that we hadn't yet seen online. We were thrilled to find not 1 ideal "new-to-us" car, but 2, which were what we really needed! We were given fair deals for our trade-ins, given that we had two older vehicles with substantial mileage, and which were in less-than-mint condition. Tom Chinnici, our sales consultant, and Sandy Smith, the finance manager, were excellent -- very friendly people, consummate professionals, caring about and toward their customers. They answered any and every question we had, spending a total of several hours with us in the process. Even after the deal was "done," we were called on the next business day to find out that Sandy got us better interest rates on both of our loans, and we have been in contact with Tom over a couple of loose ends. Bill, the manager of the pre-owned division, made efforts on at least two occasions to speak with us and ensure that we were getting all of the help and attention that we needed. We have not stopped being treated like customers since we walked out with the keys. We are consumers with high standards for both products and services, who are often wary and hard to please -- especially in the used-car industry, where so many "professionals" have garnered a poor reputation for the entire business. At Kelly, we found all of our standards and expectations to be met and exceeded. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience there. If you want to be treated with respect, friendliness, and caring, Kelly is the dealership for you. More

She made me feel at ease bringin to talk to a woman in service:) Diana was very knowledgeable and helpful when I called to schedule my appointment. She made me feel at ease bringing my car in for service. When I arrived, Eric Keller greeted me. He was professional and friendly. The service was quick and efficient and the atmosphere was upbeat, not the usual dismal experience. I would definitely recommend the "new" Kelly Buick-GMC to anyone I know. Keep up the great work! Bruce Dubois has a wealth of knowledge about all vehicles he sells and goes out of his way to ensure that everyone is satisfied. He thoroughly explains every part of the vehicle before and after purchase. he sells and goes out of his way to ensure that everyone is satisfied. He thoroughly explains every part of the vehicle before and after purchase. We have owned 4 Saturn vehicles, the latest a 2009 chili pepper red Saturn Vue - our second. We have been dedicated Saturn owners since 1996 and we were devastated to learn that Saturn would not be manufactured after 2010. Since we loved our first chili pepper red Vue we decided to see Bruce about purchasing another, upgraded version before the end of production. Bruce told us that this Vue was very popular and getting hard to find, but he assured us that he would do his best to locate the vehicle we wanted. Within 24 hours we had our Vue, with every item we requested! When we saw Bruce recently he explained the qualities of the Buick Regal and outlined the similarity of this Buick to the Saturn. Bruce will be the first person we will contact when we purchase our next vehicle. He is terrific! More
I purchased a Jeep from Kelley back in 2002 and dealt with Lynn Moyer. Without hesitation Kelley was the first dealer I went to inquire about a new vehicle. As my family grew, so did my need for a vehicl with Lynn Moyer. Without hesitation Kelley was the first dealer I went to inquire about a new vehicle. As my family grew, so did my need for a vehicle with 3rd row seating. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Lynn Moyer had moved to the GMC dealership. The following day Lynn returned my call and started the search for the perfect vehicle for me. Lynn allowed me to test drive the Acadia overnight to ensure that it had everything I needed. I was treated respectfully and felt very comfortable purchasing my vehicle through Kelley again. The sale was a smooth transition. James made it very easy. Both my experiences in dealing with Kelley have been wonderful. I will go back AGAIN and I highly recommed Kelley to everyone. More
BE WARNED! In brief: Management at the Kelly Automotive Group was very happy to sell a car and to try to sell an extended warranty but DOESN’T EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO RETURN A PHONE CALL AFTER THE SALE. Group was very happy to sell a car and to try to sell an extended warranty but DOESN’T EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO RETURN A PHONE CALL AFTER THE SALE. There are two reasons I would NOT recommend Kelly or consider buying there again: (1) Their Business Manager misrepresented the warranty that came with the vehicle in an attempt to also sell us an unnecessary extended warranty at the time of sale, and (2) Both their Business and General Managers showed a complete lack of responsiveness and common or professional courtesy by their failure to return my phone calls regarding a problem with the title and registration AFTER the sale. The details: With my assistance and moral support, my mother (a senior citizen), for whom car shopping and buying was a stressful experience, went shopping for a late-model used car and we found the one she wanted at Kelly (a 2007 Buick LaCrosse). The dealership's VP and partner, Chris Saraceno, worked with us by phone to negotiate an acceptable price and we completed the purchase on 8/31/2010. (1) THE WARRANTY ISSUE: This was a GM Certified Used Vehicle, and one of the benefits of paying a higher price to buy Certified was that it comes with a 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. However, Business Manager David Lipka tried to tell us that, since the original factory warranty would soon be expiring (due to the age of the car), we would have NO bumper-to-bumper coverage unless we bought an extended warranty. Such a misstatement downplays the value of the GM Certified program and reflects either an unbelievable level of ignorance for a member of management or downright deceit and scare tactics in an effort to sell an extra warranty. My mom will probably want to buy an extended warranty next year (when the car will REALLY be ready for one), but will likely shop for one elsewhere after this experience. (2) THE NO-CALLBACK ISSUE: Several weeks after the purchase, my mom still had not received her certificate of title or permanent registration card in the mail from PennDOT. In looking over the paperwork she had received from Kelly, I noticed that the form they had submitted for her to PennDOT omitted her apartment number. On 10/15/2010 I called to try to speak to David Lipka (who had taken care of the paperwork aspects of the transaction) and got his voicemail. I left a message about why I was calling and asked him to return my call. I got no callback from David and called and left him a follow-up voicemail on 10/21/2010, which he also never responded to. I also took another approach and tried e-mailing Karl Dampf, the salesman who had worked with us. Having gotten no response from Karl after a few days, I called the dealership again on 10/27/2010 and was told by the receptionist that Karl was no longer working there. I explained why I was calling and she suggested that I speak with either David Lipka or General Manager Rich Wilson. I asked to be connected to Rich. He was in a meeting so the receptionist connected me to his voicemail. I left a message for Rich and he, too, NEVER EVEN RETURNED MY CALL. Finally, I just ended up calling PennDOT’s office of Motor Vehicle Services myself, found out what needed to be done, and had my mother call there directly to get her address corrected on their records and have them re-mail her certificate of title and registration. Even if this was something that Kelly could not help with, it is amazing that two of their managers didn’t even have the courtesy to call back (or to have a member of their staff call), to simply acknowledge my messages, apologize for the inconvenience, and explain that my mother or I would have to contact PennDOT directly. This is clearly NOT a place with which I’d recommend doing business! More
