Purchased a used T&C Minivan. Within 48 hours after the purchase the check engine light came on. Took it back to the dealer the next day and they told me what the codes were, in particular an unspecifi the purchase the check engine light came on. Took it back to the dealer the next day and they told me what the codes were, in particular an unspecified Transmission Module code. The reset the code and the light came back on within about the same 48 hours. I took the vehicle to another repair shop and they then sent it to Summit Transmission who is now saying the transmission needs to be rebuilt. Talked to the sales person and Kelly's stance is that the car is sold 'as is' and there is NOTHING they'll do about it at this point. More
I called Kelley Chevrolet in Ft. Wayne about 2 cars that we were interested in looking at and that they had for sale and where we were coming from. One of the cars was at the State Street location and the we were interested in looking at and that they had for sale and where we were coming from. One of the cars was at the State Street location and the other car was at one of their other dealerships. The person I talked to (Mia) told me that they could get the car from the other location and bring to their State Street location if I could let them have a 2-2 1/2 hour time frame to get the car there. We arrived after the 2 1/2 hour suggested time frame and to our surprise, the car at their State Street location had sold (we never got a phone call telling us that) and they never brought the other car to the State Street location. Jason called the other location to see if their driver could bring it over, but he/she wasn't available. There were numerous other salesmen sitting next to us who weren't doing anything but staring at us while we were dealing with Jason. Why couldn't one of them go get it? After all, what would a business do for customer service?! We told them of our frustration with this and the miles we drove to see these vehicles and all we got is "I understand your frustration". No he didn't. With all the miscommunication we experienced from this dealership, we asked if this would be how we would be treated if we decided to deal with them. Of course he said, "Oh no, it wouldn't be like this at all, but if we bought the car they would deal with this issue". He kept pushing us to decide about the other car, whether we would sign today. We said no, we would have to see/drive the car and talk about numbers first. We had to drive over to the other dealership, which took more than the 15 minutes that we were told it would take, to see a vehicle that had allot of scratches on the rear, the front left headlight looked like it had been replaced and water marks on the rear passenger door, scratches and water mark on the driver inside door panel, otherwise we like the color and drive ability of the car, but leery that it had been in a front end accident or possibly rear end issues. We told them that we were not interested in the car and were asked if they "knocked" off a couple of hundred dollars if we would buy it. We said, "No"...what if we fixed the scratches? "No". Quite pushy in our opinion. They questioned us about the statement that we wanted a mechanic to look at the vehicle before purchasing. No positive comment was made by them. We wouldn't recommend them. More

Chris took care of us above and beyond what he had to do. He put us in a brand new car until our Volt was finished. He kept us abreast of what was going on at all times.
