Pass on this dealership. I lead a busy life and prefer to shop for cars online. I search nationwide, find the best deals, and travel to complete the purchase. In this instance, my purchase was time-sensitive. The dealership had the color and trim I wanted, and the price was within my budget. After requesting their out-the-door pricing, I received it via email and agreed to move forward with the purchase. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Braxton, a polite and professional salesperson, who showed me the truck. The truck was dirty so I asked for the bed to be redone. We noticed some minor damage to the grill, so they ordered a replacement part. I was told it would take some time as the part was not readily available, which was fine. After signing some paperwork with Braxton he stated that he would fuel the truck and transfer my plate. He asked me to wait for the finance manager, who would finalize the paperwork. I was left sitting in the lobby for 20 minutes while the finance manager remained in his office alone. When he finally emerged, the lack of professionalism was immediately apparent. As he went through the paperwork and started to explain everything, he told me that I had to pay $250 for what amounts to glorified scotch tape on the door trim. I asked him why it was not listed as a fee on my detailed quote from the salesman and why I was not told about it before hand. He stated that it's the salesman's job. I asked him to remove it from the truck as I did not want it. He told me that every truck they sell has it and that I have to pay for it. When I asked where it is listed in the contract that its required, he could not show me. I stated that since it’s not listed, I am not obligated to buy it. His answer was that it was already on the car so I have to pay for it. I asked him for paperwork describing what I am paying for. He pulled a brochure out of a drawer and handed it to me. I put it with the paperwork that I was taking with me. He stopped me and told me that it’s his only copy and I cannot have it. I asked him for a copy of the brochure but he said that he did not have access to a copy machine. He asked me how long I would keep the car. I told him 2 years. He took out his iPad and started his extended protection package pitch. I told him that I was not interested and asked him not to continue. He became agitated to a point where I told him to calm down. He then started calling me “sir” and repeatedly stated that he was calm, was not angry and he is required to offer these services. I told him that he was wasting my time but he kept going. I was then told to sign twice on his iPad. I declined as there would be no reason for me to sign anything since I am not purchasing anything. He told me that I have to sign. He explained that I was signing once to confirm that he tried to sell me these packages and I was signing a second time confirming that I do not want the packages. I asked him for a printout showing that I declined the service and was told that they do not do that. He told me that I have to sign a paper saying that I will keep the loan for at least 6 months. I told him that I intend to pay it off in 3. He told me that I cannot legally do that since they are selling me the car so cheap in part because they make money on the loan. I asked for a copy of this document and he told me that they do not provide it to the customer. I then asked why with stellar credit I was approved at 2 points higher than my pre-approval. He stated that the sales manager handles credit not him. He told me that GM does not have rates lower than what I got, even though it’s on every GM dealers website. It's obvious that this dealership added 2 points to the rate I was approved for as their sell rate. Sleazy but legal. More

If you want a no pressure, honest, fair deal without advantage plans you don't get to remove or excessive fees, visit Kelley Buick GMC in Bartow, FL. Let them earn you business. If your experience is like mine and it will be, you won't be sorry. They made me a customer for life. Adam did my financing for both purchases and was honest and no pressure for add-ons. More

My Sales Person was Tim Lacey, & since I had inquired ahead of time, they had the vehicle I wanted ready to go. The process was quick, and I’ve been happy with the follow-up as well.
