Mr. Murphy this correspondence is to try to understand why it is you are holding us responsible for your lifetime warranty. The contract you signed clearly states right next to the line you signed the company’s name is WASCOR. The New Toyota Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty administered by WASCOR states as follow: Maintenance requirements – In order to keep your lifetime limited powertrain warranty valid YOU must follow the maintenance procedures listed below. • YOUR vehicle must receive all scheduled maintenance as recommended by the manufacture’s Owners Manual. • YOU must keep copies of all repair orders. Copies must indicate; customer name, repair order number, repair order date, VIN, a description of YOUR vehicle, repair order mileage, and a complete description of services performed. • WE may require YOU to furnish US with proof that the specified services have been performed. Failure to show proof that all scheduled maintenance and repairs have been performed may void coverage under this Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty. All this being said we are on your side as the customer. We went to bat for you. The fixed-ops manager spoke to everyone he could at the warranty company. However, they are sticking with their decision. Unfortunately there is nothing more we can do. We hope that all the repairs were satisfactory.
