First of all, we would like to apologize for the outcome of your car buying experience. We understand your frustrations. Here at Keith Pierson Toyota, we do everything in our power to make sure our customers are happy. However, there are some things that are out of our hands, no matter the effort we put in. You claim we knew your daughter wouldn’t get approved, but that is simply not the case. The Toyota loyalty program has the right to deny or approve the loan based on their own internal score cards and information that is not always available to us. We have no control over their final approval on any loans. We went above and beyond to try to secure the best financing rate possible based on your credit. We are truly sorry for your daughter’s disappointment.

Your sales team and financing team were the least upfront with us, yet we were very honest with them. Why would you allow for anyone to drive off the lot with a brand new vehicle when there is even the slightest possibility that the financing would not be approved - regardless of your " attempts to get approval". In fact, you ran my credit so many times, that it literally dropped my score significantly. The worst part is that you can't even own up to your mistake. Despite that fact, that your very own salesman (Charles) made an inappropriate comment once he realized the sale would not go through (after the fact), that to him we were just a number (apparently no. 16). There are no words at this point that would rectify what your company did and for that reason, we will not ever be doing business with Kieth Pearson Toyota of Orange Park. Furthermore, the below response could not have said it better. VHarding responded Oh, how about just be upfront with your customers. Don't let them sign everything and leave with the car under the assumption they are good to go. Lucky for you I am an honest person. I could have walked out and kept the car I had already signed the proper paper work for and you knew that and that is why you lied to get me back in the dealership. Honesty and integrity goes a long way. But you don't have to worry, I won't bother your establishment in the future.
