The absolute worst experience at a dealership ever!! Ever been toyed with by a car dealership?? Seems like this is a reoccurring event with my recent encounters. Why would a dealership have you go throu Ever been toyed with by a car dealership?? Seems like this is a reoccurring event with my recent encounters. Why would a dealership have you go through the entire buying process, get a check from your bank, and then tell you the vehicle has been sold for 2 weeks?? Well this is the second time this has happened to me in a month. If you want your time wasted, choose Keffer. They are exceptional at that! Here's a synopsis of my experience: A week ago I found a Porsche Panamera on cars.com listed for sale. I reside in Maryland, so I asked my brother to take time out of his busy schedule on Saturday February 11, 2017 to go over to Keffer VW and check out the vehicle for me as he lives in Charlotte. He did just that. While there he encountered a salesman named Joe, whom he believed was very trustworthy, test drove the car, and gave me a call stating that the car was "a go". Joe and I began the purchase process on Monday. (Paperwork, numbers etc). Once an agreement was made, I called my credit union to notify them I had found the car I wanted to purchase. After the agreement was made the sales Manager Dewayne Noble began calling me. He stated that he was from the DMV area and had done plenty of work with my particular credit union in the past. He stated that within his past experience with my credit union the dealership would not need to provide amount given on a trade-in and the amount being put down. Dewayne then emailed me the purchase order without this information. I then forwarded the purchase order to my credit union. They sent me back an approval letter with a stipulation being a "Signed purchase" order by the dealer showing the amount given on my trade and correct payoff amount. Here's where it took a serious turn straight downhill. After requesting the signed purchase order from the dealer, I stopped getting a response and then was given the runaround by my salesman Joe, who was given the runaround by his sales manager Dewayne Noble. At this point I began calling the dealership to get an understanding of what the delay was. I was given the GM's name Steve O'Kane by my salesperson Joe. When I called I was asked by the receptionist who was calling and once I let her know it was me calling about my deal, she stated that both Dewayne Noble and Steve O'Kane were in a meeting together. How convenient, right?? She took a message for the GM Steve O'Kane and then forwards me to Dewayne Noble's voicemail in which I left him a message to give me a call. After about an hour or so he returns my call. I ask him what's going on with the signed purchase order and my deal. He then states that the car had been sold 2 weeks ago. I'm immediately confused and ask how is that possible as we were working on this deal yesterday. He then stated that my deal was a backup. Mentally, How much sense does that make? If a car was sold why would you try to sell it again to someone? I became infuriated with Dewayne. Something this pertinent should have been discussed Day 1 and well before I invested my time and others. Dewayne intentionally wasted my time on a car that was "sold for 2 weeks". I feel extremely disrespected and lied to. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime and have never experienced this type of "bafoonery". I still have yet to receive a call back from the GM Steve O'Kane. And the car is still listed for sale on their website. How professional.... More

Yet another great buying experience! This is my second VW purchase from Keffer VW in two years. I was looking to replace my TDI Sportwagen I originally purchased (TDI Buyback), and once a This is my second VW purchase from Keffer VW in two years. I was looking to replace my TDI Sportwagen I originally purchased (TDI Buyback), and once again, Brian Wiles was the man with a plan. From the moment I contacted Keffer about needed to get a new car, Brian was there the whole way. I can't say enough great things about my (now second) purchasing experience. I was picked up from the dealership via their courtesy van, greeted with friendly smiles, and at no time did I feel pressured into anything. Brian worked with me to make sure everything I wanted was available, and made sure it fell within my price range. Communication prior to visiting was prompt, and non-pressuring. I really felt like I was a VIP throughout all of my interactions with Keffer! Thanks to Brian Wiles and Keffer VW, I'm now driving the best car I've ever owned! More

Disappointing experience I am a former VW owner, and my TDI was recalled. To get some of their customers back, VW offers an incentive of nearly 4K. I wanted a manual golf wolf I am a former VW owner, and my TDI was recalled. To get some of their customers back, VW offers an incentive of nearly 4K. I wanted a manual golf wolfsburg. The salesman was able to locate it, and got the paper ready, but when he actually called the dealer to make sure the car was there, it was not there. Apparently, the salesman found 4 more Golf Wolfsburg manual which were available in North Carolina and promised me it would be there the next day in the evening. I even received an email "You are all set, your car will be there tomorrow evening". Well, the next day at noon, I was informed the car was not available. Frustrated, I contacted the sales manager who told me they could actually not locate the car. I mentioned that I was frustrated and was considering pulling out of the deal (which I had signed the day before), to which the sales manager responded "It's up to you. I am not making any money on this sale, so no worries if you decide to pull out of the deal". Although this may be true (that he is not making any money, and that my car is difficult to locate), this is by no means a way to treat your customer. I gave him until the very next day at noon, to update me, which he never did. I pulled out of the deal and went down to Mazda. I am amazed how much turnaround there is at this VW dealer. Two salesmans I met were on the job just either one week of 3 weeks. More

We have been loyal to the VW family of products since 2006 and saw no reason not to continue with the brand. Keffer is the closest dealership to our home. Since we were replacing 3 vehicles I expected the process to be fraught with angst. To my amazement...........no. It was a fantastic experience. The personnel were friendly and considerate of our time. The fuel economy was unbelievable with the diesel cars. Although the gas vehicles can't compete with the economy and longevity of a diesel car, we feel confident that the new product will perform a close second. More

I had no Idea how I was going to get another car after my car accident and was even embarrassed to go into the dealership, so I applied online. Brian got back in contact with me immediately and said that he could help me. I was hesitant to go into the dealership but Brian stayed in contact with me and reassured me that he would help me anyway he could. He was very sensitive with my situation and found the best resolution to my problem. I love the VW Passat that he was able to help me buy and I am so very happy to be in the VW family. More
