Do not buy or use service department from this place. I NEVER leave reviews but I feel compelled to warn others. I have tried to shop/buy here twice. Sales was so rude and condescending that I went to VW Charlotte and bought there twice. Tried to use service as it is much closer to home and it has been a nightmare. Submitted claims wrong for warranty approval, couldn’t get an adjuster out. Called warranty. Had an adjuster out the next business day and was informed how claims were sent in and why nothing was approved. They didn’t even submit my codes from the check engine light. When asked the service rep wanted to argue. Needless to say it’s been two weeks still don’t have my car fixed. I just want to warn people. Do not under any circumstances use this dealership to purchase or for service. Make the trek to any other VW dealership no matter how inconvenient for yourself and save yourself time money and dignity. More
Get an out-the-door price from them before you go in. They engage in bait-and-switch pricing on their cars. They didn't even bother doing the typical fee and add-on nonsense, they just jacked the price up $3k. I've got the text messages if anyone from this company cares to know what their salesmen are doing. More
I’ve been coming to Keffer for service for 5? years. Service started out good. Then they went through a shakeup that was like troubled waters. Seems they have worked out the wrinkles. Keffer Volkswagen was the BEST dealership I have ever been to! The staff was friendly, polite, and such a pleasure to work with! Pierre wa awesome and gave me a great deal on my car. Whom it regards. I drove over 4 hours to this appointment on yesterday and when I got there I was told at first the vehicle was Not there anymore by one associate. When I asked for you they told me you weren't available. When I decided to speak to a manager he told me he had the car but it needed alot of mechanical work! He also stated the car was going to be returned to Florida. This company is falsely advertising a car with a photo shop picture of the car that doesn't exist and it's no for sale! I had an absolutely dreadful experience at Keffer Volkswagen. I arrived at 11 AM and didn't leave until 6 PM, a full seven hours wasted. I was interested in a Tesla Model 3 and after finalizing my choice, I spoke with the manager. We agreed on a price, and he assured me that I would receive the $4,000 federal tax credit. Despite informing him that I am a Canadian citizen and doubting my eligibility, he insisted that registering the car in North Carolina would suffice. Trusting his expertise as the manager, I proceeded. I got my insurance on the spot and provided all necessary information, a tedious process given my status as an international student. Finally, in the finance office, I was told I had to pay an additional $4,000 because I wasn't eligible for the credit, just as I had suspected from the start. I was furious and disappointed with their unprofessionalism, especially considering this was coming from the manager. His response was dismissive and insincere, with a casual "what do you want me to do" and "I'm sorry" in a tone that clearly showed he wasn't. He even tried to equate my seven-hour ordeal to his, saying, "I was also here for 7 hours," completely disregarding the fact that it's his job. His comment that it was my choice to stay was the final straw. I had missed several important commitments to finalize this purchase, only to be met with utter incompetence and a total lack of accountability. Not a single person sincerely apologized or offered any form of compensation for the time and effort wasted. The manager's repeated questioning about my SSN, despite knowing my status as a Canadian, was beyond frustrating. He even suggested I cancel my insurance, disregarding the time and effort it took to arrange it. Overall, the service was atrocious, and the way they handled the situation was disgraceful. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. Avoid Keffer Volkswagen at all costs if you value your time and sanity. To top it off, the manager was a tall white man with a belly with a ball-shaped bump on his eyelid and white-grey hair. More

I went to pick up a purchased new VWGolf R. Price was fair and less Add pms than any alternative from Florida to CT. They were friendly but I’ll prepared. It took 2 hours to do what should have taken 20 minutes. Wrong VIN transmitted on contract. Missing charges on invoice. Car had to be filled with gas after I arrived. All frustrating. However I got the car I wanted. Just be prepared for a slow process. More
