Too many issues to make this short. Sold me a crap car, claimed they’d repaired the oil leak before purchase, it had a massive coolant leak, oil leak, and transmission leak. (All 3 currently). I paid for the repairs on the coolant leak with a new water pump thermostat housing hoses etc. only to have a 2nd massive coolant leak. Service work was of course done by their dealership. Horrible job with the repair. Took it to Audi, they said missing bolts in the water pump and another leak at the thermostat housing hoses etc. Volkswagen won’t honor their parts warranty and claim it’s different issues and want me to pay another 4k. Dry rotted tires caused a blowout with my 16 yo kid on the interstate. Windshield wipers they claimed they replaced shredded and flew off in a monsoon on the interstate on a different trip. The roof by the A posts have 2 massive cracks, pretty sure it’s structural damage from someone’s wreck before we bought it. Mechanic found severe underbody damage, frame compromise, spray painted parts in the engine-typical I guess when people buy parts from a junk yard-so mechanic wasn’t sure it’s the original engine. Car is sitting in their lot for the last month. My two options - Pay 4K for a 6k repair (discount from them) or they’ll buy it back for what I owe at around $8750. Meanwhile the deal was $18k and the car is as the GM put it “now worth only about 3k”. GM would give me contact for corporate and claims “he wouldn’t know where to start” They fired the GM, Sales Manager and Service Manager from when I bought g to e car I- if that tells you anything. However being that my car is still sitting there a month later and the new GM and Service Manager haven’t reached out should say something. Would love for corporate to get ahold of me More
From beginning to end compared with the dealership in the triad area where I boat my 23 Toas 4 motion to trading in for a se Tiquan AWD was fantastic at Keifer VW. Week prior was in to my local dealership an triad area where I boat my 23 Toas 4 motion to trading in for a se Tiquan AWD was fantastic at Keifer VW. Week prior was in to my local dealership and drove a 25 they had on the lot and after driving and feeling insulated not giving little value on trade once I voiced disappointment on it that said ok no counter offer or looking at 2026 saying this is the best they can do with only one 25 tiquan se on there lot so I walked and contacted others and got a new se at 3500 under 25 price at the other dealership with 4k cash n equity in my Toas . Ease of transaction etc with Max sales rep n Randy sales mgr. went smooth and met what we were expecting with pricing, financing and payment options. I will drive the hour south definitely again on my next VW purchase..I highly recommend them compared to the treatment we received at the local VW dealership in Guilford county, More

I hope this will be my LAST review of this dealership. What I can say is "DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLE" from them. I have bought a couple cars in the pass BUT now they are horrendous. I made an appointment for a test drive of a 2026 Tiguan SEL- R Line. I called before I left to make sure it was "IN STOCK". I got there and waited to find out it was "SOLD" and "IT WAS NOT EVEN THERE". They blamed it on another "DEPT" that doesn't even know what is "IN STOCK". WHAT A JOKE!! Management has been replaced "SO MANY TIMES" they still can't get it right. I wasted my "GAS AND 40 MILES OF DRIVING" to come there. AVOID THEM ALL TOGETHER!! More

The only reason I am giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 is because the salesman, Duran, was great. Very personable and polite to work with. And the vehicle I purchased was as described. But besides th of 1 is because the salesman, Duran, was great. Very personable and polite to work with. And the vehicle I purchased was as described. But besides this, BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased a 2023 Nissan Altima SR on 02/21/2025. If you plan to buy a vehicle from Keffer VW, bring your own financing and watch out for bogus fees. This dealership tried to charge me a $855.50 "Government Fee" and an almost $3,000 "Protection Package that was shown on the invoice. I called them out on it and they claimed the "Government Fee" is to title and register the vehicle. The cost to title and register a vehicle in North Carolina is $94.75. For the same where I live in South Carolina is $115. After I told them I was not going to pay this or for the "Protection Package," the "Protection Package" was removed and title and registration fees changed to what it should actually be. First evidence of FRAUD. The other deceptive practice that they will do without telling you, is if you finance with the dealer, they will jack up your interest rate. I was prequalified with Captial One Auto at an interest rate of 5.75% prior to making a deal for the vehicle I bought. I told the salesman and finance manager this. When it came time to sign the finance papers, I was told my interest rate was 7.25% with a credit score of 820. My credit was pulled from Capital One Auto, Wells Fargo, and Truist Bank as I got the alerts on my phone while at the dealer. I asked if that was the lowest interest rate offered to me and again brought up the prequalification and was told that was the lowest rate offered and that the lower prequalification rate is something lenders will do just to get people to the dealer. The finance manager also informed me the interest rate was the same at 7.25% whether I financed at 60 or 72 months. Unfortunately, I took the finance manager's word on this. After leaving the dealer with my new car, something was bugging me about this. I called Capital One Auto and asked what interest rate I was approved for after the dealer filed my credit application. To my shock and surprise, I was actually approved for 5.75% for 60 months and 5.92% for 72 months!!!! After looking over my paperwork, I then found out the finance manager LIED to me! My interest rate for 72 months was actually 7.49%. The dealer clearly jacks up the interest rate for better kickbacks and does not disclose this to the buyers. These practices are ILLEGAL and plain evidence of CONSUMER FRAUD! I called the dealership back twice within 3 days and spoke to two different managers each time. Both said they would talk to the accounting and finance department when they came in and get back to me. The second dealership manager even texted me his phone number. I texted back the next two days with no response. BIG SURPRISE! I've now filed a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General's Office Consumer Protection Agency and the Federal Trade Commission. I hope my experience with this dealership will make other buyers aware before shopping here and to make sure you keep an eye out for this dealer's shady practices. More
I did buy a car for my 16 year old at Keffer but I would NOT recommend them to anyone. They go back and forth on price and other services that they want to add to the car and when you finally agree and sha NOT recommend them to anyone. They go back and forth on price and other services that they want to add to the car and when you finally agree and shake on the final price, they change everything on the contract. If you try to call them, voicemail is always full. If you text your sales rep, you'll get ignored. Nothing about what I've gone through with them makes me feel like they are honest or trustworthy about selling anyone a car. It's all about scamming you into paying more so they get more money. More
Do not buy or use service department from this place. I NEVER leave reviews but I feel compelled to warn others. I have tried to shop/buy here twice. Sales was so rude and condescending that I went to VW I NEVER leave reviews but I feel compelled to warn others. I have tried to shop/buy here twice. Sales was so rude and condescending that I went to VW Charlotte and bought there twice. Tried to use service as it is much closer to home and it has been a nightmare. Submitted claims wrong for warranty approval, couldn’t get an adjuster out. Called warranty. Had an adjuster out the next business day and was informed how claims were sent in and why nothing was approved. They didn’t even submit my codes from the check engine light. When asked the service rep wanted to argue. Needless to say it’s been two weeks still don’t have my car fixed. I just want to warn people. Do not under any circumstances use this dealership to purchase or for service. Make the trek to any other VW dealership no matter how inconvenient for yourself and save yourself time money and dignity. More

After a lot of back and forth, their salesman explicitly told me that they advertise lower prices to get people to come in. A $22k car turned into a $25k before they even added any fees in. They didn't even bother doing the typical fee and add-on nonsense, they just jacked the price up $3k. I've got the text messages if anyone from this company cares to know what their salesmen are doing. More
