While the sales experience a year and a half ago was pretty painless, everything since then has been a terrible experience. After buying the car they recommended a company to tint the windows - my 3 year old daughter could have done a better job, and when I complained I didn't get much in the way of improvement and the company they recommended were always late or not available to try to fix things. Yesterday I took the car in for a warranty fix of the gas indicator. They told me it would take "approximately and hour" so I waited - I ended up stuck in the dealership for 3 and a half hours! When I got the car back it smelled like someone had doused the back seat with gas. The smell wasn't gone 24 hours later so I called and rather than get an apology someone told me that gas had probably got spilled on the carpet and they would try to fit me in if I go there and clean it up - I expect them to do it first time round, not expect me to drive 20 miles out of my way for unnecessary follow up visits. To add insult to injury, they had obviously taken my daughter's car seat out without letting me know. When I went to put her in it this morning it was put back in but with the straps not tightened and all twisted up. They may not care about their own kids' safety, but they have no right to endanger my child's life by installing a car seat in a dangerous way. Don't go here. Don't buy a car from them and certainly don't expect good service. More
Bob Ernsberger was very knowledgeable of all the vehicles we were interested in. I walked into this dealership after visiting 2 others. I specified what i was looking for as far as quality, price and what i had to trade in. Mr. James Brown did not waste my time with any of the sales tactics he was straight to the point and sold me a beautiful 2013 sonata limited. I received excellent customer service from everyone I came in contact with at Keffer Hyundai. I found them originally through using Edmunds.com. Chip Conley at Keffer Hyundai was one of several sales peo came in contact with at Keffer Hyundai. I found them originally through using Edmunds.com. Chip Conley at Keffer Hyundai was one of several sales people who contacted me from different North Carolina area dealers. However, Chip and the entire staff at Keffer Hyundai were by far superior to everyone else's customer service. Chip found me exactly what I wanted with absolutely no hassle and while i live in Raleigh, it was definitely worth the trip to Charlotte to get my car from Keffer Hyundai. Everyone who helped me when I bought my car was professional, courteous, caring and helpful. I know that buying this car from Keffer Hyundai is the beginning of a good and long partnership with them. I highly recommend buying a car from Keffer! I know that the next time I am in the market for a new car, I will be going to Keffer Hyundai. More
I just left another dealership, when i walked into Keffer Hyundai. Honestly, i had my "guard" up, because of the experience i had at the dealership prior. They answered all my questions, honestly, and have kept their word on everything promised. i had my older car for almost 12 years, so i had lots of questions and have been out of the car buying process for years. Keffer Hyundai made it easy and understandable, plus they were easy on the eyes :o i would definately recommend them to someone in the car buying/leasing process. More
My experience with Keffer Hyundai were very positive. I did my homework via the internet for the car I was interested in purchasing (2013 Hyundai Elantra). Sent emails to dealership throughout eastern North Carolina for their best offer, Keffer made me the best offer. Throughout this process I was talking to an excellent salesman James Brown. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Once the deal was reached by phone, the purchase contract was faxed to me and my credit union and I drove down to pick up my new car. This dealer was awful. We had a set time with the internet manager at 3pm. Upon arrival he was not there and nowhere to be found. After waiting 30 mins. with two children finally J.B. the G.M. addres internet manager at 3pm. Upon arrival he was not there and nowhere to be found. After waiting 30 mins. with two children finally J.B. the G.M. addressed us and gave us a "new" salesperson. He had only been there a month. We discussed a sonta but and purchased it but never took possession of it. They were very very slow. Stuart offered us a price on paper but apparently was not approved by the G.M. J.B. accused me of lying and that I was never offered such a price despite the salesman admitting that is what he had written down. The deal ended up being voided. Horrible experience, unprofessional and a waste of time. We ended up going to Bob Mayberry in Monroe and getting a better car for cheap in half the time! Do not recommend. More
I purchased my 2011 Elantra with 1335 miles on it from Kate Houston at Keffer Hyundai less than 1 year ago. Upon trading it in for a newer model I was informed by the dealership that my trade in (the 201 Kate Houston at Keffer Hyundai less than 1 year ago. Upon trading it in for a newer model I was informed by the dealership that my trade in (the 2011 Elantra) was worth far less than expected because I was the THIRD OWNER AND IT HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT which I was NEVER informed of either. Not only that but they over-charged me for the extended warranty and the GAP insurance. They ONLY good thing I have to say about Keffer is that Kevin got me a shorter term on my financing than I anticipated. I would NEVER refer anyone to this dealership as they use shady business tactics and I'm insulted and frankly ANGRY that they sold me a wrecked vehicle without disclosing it to me as I probably wouldn't have purchased it knowing that and I also lost even more money due to their dishonesty on my trade in. It was a wonderful experience. The employees set their customers for first. They like seeing their customers satisfied and that is why they work there.
