Had my car towed in as I had lost the key to my 2011 Genesis that I truly loved. Had the choice to purchase a new 2013 Genesis or pay for a key and my lease was due in 5 months. James Brown met with me and worked a deal I could not refuse. So I lost my key and drove out with a new 2013 Genesis. I drove two hours to do business with Keffer Hyundai, and I'd do it again. They found the car I wanted and alerted me via email. Helio Gusmao is tops when it comes to customer service and just being an all around good dude! He treated me fairly and with great respect. The GMC I purchased broke down less than 36 hours after purchase. I live 20 minutes north of Asheville and drove over 2 hours to purchase this truck. When I contacted Helio and advised that the water pump had went out on the truck he apologized and took it upon his self to speak with the Manager, without me asking. Keffer Hyundai wrote me a check that covered the costs of the part and the labor to have it replaced. Now this truck was sold "as is" but they still covered it!! In today's time this is extremely rare. What a great group of "stand up people" they have at Keffer Hyundai, I would highly recommend giving them a look when you are seeking your next vehicle. I know that our next purchase will be with Keffer Hyundai and the salesman will be Helio!! More
I always get the feeling that the sevice department is very concerned about you getting the best service. I received a post card offering an opportunity to upgrade my current vehicle, so I made a call to the sales office. I established what I hoped to accomplish and advised my financial limitations. The salesperson, Kayla Smith, did an excellent job of listening to my needs, and I received a call back the next day stating that we had a deal. No hassel, no delays, just a straight forward deal. All we had to do was wait for the dealership to locate the car I wanted (model, features, color, etc.). Kayla did a terrific job of keeping me abreast of their efforts to obtain the car, and within a few days the car was sitting in my driveway - delivered by the dealer. It was very beneficial to have the car delivered to my home, because I live four hours away. Everything was handled by phone. I highly recommend Keffer Hyundai. Incidently, after receiving the offer back from the dealership, I visited the local dealer to see if they could match the offer. Spent six hours at the local dealership listening to their BS, only to have them tell me that Keffer's offer was too good to be true, with a warning that I would drive to Charlotte to pick up the car only to have Keffer reneg on the deal. They gave me their "best price", only to have them lower it when I said no deal, but even their revised price was more than what Keffer had offered. I was there for regular service. The friendliness of the Service Staff is impeccable. I'm always pleased with my service experience. The only thing I could recommend is with the company, not the staff. Service Staff is impeccable. I'm always pleased with my service experience. The only thing I could recommend is with the company, not the staff. That is that little things like the mirror covers on the sun visors be replaceable as opposed to having to replace the entire visor. Or with the side mirrors, that the cover could be replaced without having to replace the whole mirror assembly. Thank you, Brenda Freeze More
We had decided on a new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe "Sport" and looked at several local Dealers around Asheville prior to making the decision to drive to Charlotte and buy from Keffer. From the minute that we walked into the Dealership and met Chip Conley and JB Beckley, we knew that we had found the right Dealer. Both Chip Conley, our Salesperson, and JB Beckley, the General Sales Manager, were exremely friendly, honest and professional. They are the consummate professionals and worked extremely hard to make certain that we were happy. While Keffer didn't have the exact Santa Fe that we wanted, they worked with another employee, Rick Spicer (extremely professional and helpful), to locate it. In less than a week we had our new Santa Fe "Sport" and love it. I am a car afficionado, have owned a lot of vehicles and have never had such a great experience. Peggy was also very helpful in explaining the various add-ons available, as was Bobby Ernsberger, Keffer's "Technology Guru", who meticulously set-up and explained all of the high tech features of our new Santa Fe. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Keffer Hyundai and all of the individuals listed above. More
