They go the distance. First of all, we have bought from Keeler dealership before, having owned three MINIs over 14 years, and have always had good service from them. We hav First of all, we have bought from Keeler dealership before, having owned three MINIs over 14 years, and have always had good service from them. We have never felt like we are being pushed towards an early trade-up or being coerced into loading up a vehicle just to sweeten the pot for the sales rep. Our experience in buying a Honda CR-V from Sales Consultant Adam Dorn, was seamless. Adam listens to what the customer needs and wants, and does not try to upsell, but simply makes you aware of your options. At no time did we feel rushed, like we had to buy on that day to get "the best deal", which is the typical M.O. of so many dealerships. In fact, walking into Keeler Honda was a refreshing change, as the atmosphere didn't feel like a closing room with vultures hovering, waiting to pounce. Quite the contrary, it felt relaxed, professional and attentive. While I was in the waiting room for Adam to finish dealing with another customer and enjoying my coffee, I overheard a service tech explaining to a customer about his options of whether he wanted to fix a slight leak in an oil seal for a few additional dollors or to wait for another visit, since it was not a serious problem. The tech told the owner that if he wanted the leak fixed today, it would only take about twenty minutes additional shop time, and that the part was on hand and the car's shroud was already off for other service, which is when the tech discovered the leak. The customer decided to go ahead since it was cost effective to do so, as the car was open at the time. I really appreciated that kind of honesty from the service mechanic. There was no pressure to do the repair, but it was left up to the owner. At that point, Adam came out to see us and after a test drive and some hard looking at features, we decided on a CR-V Touring model. When we picked up the car a few days later, Adam spent quite a bit of time walking us through setting up our phones to communicate with the infotainment system, setting the locking and security preferences, and explaining all the different features the car had. He acknowledged it's a lot to go through at one time, and that anytime we had a question or wanted to come back in for additional orientation to the car's host of features, we were welcome to do so. By the way, Adam drives a CR-V too, so is well qualified to be a coach. Adam called today and asked if we were happy with the car or needed anything. I don't remember ever having such thoughtful follow up from any sales rep before. Adam is the best. More
