My 22-year old daughter attempted to negotiate a used car purchase for first the first time by herself on 10/7/13 and was deceived by the financial terminology used during the explanation of the contract. S purchase for first the first time by herself on 10/7/13 and was deceived by the financial terminology used during the explanation of the contract. She requested a $14,000 'out-the-door' price on a car and had $3,000 for the loan to reduce the final payment to $11,000. This request of the price 'out-the-door' was mentioned several times during the discussion with the financial person. The signed contract showed a bottom figure of under $14,000, however, this included the $3,000 deposit that was meant for the loan. There was also an unexpected extra charge of $980 for a security system. The actual price of the car, after all the charges, came out to almost $17,000. The car was what my daughter wanted and she was happy about the purchase since she thought that she got the deal correct with the bottom line showing under $14,000. When the contract was reviewed the next morning by her mom and me, I was very upset that my daughter appeared to be deceived. We explained that she actually paid $17,000 for the car and she was confused because the bottom line showed less than $14,000. I spoke to two General Sales Managers and they did not try to resolve the issue. They did not show any compassion or even attempt to understand the situation. They said that she knew what she was doing and signed the contract. This was their way of saying that they got their money and get lost! More
This dealership gets one star because I can not go any lower. Customer service/service has been the worst experience I ever had. As military member I have conducted business all over the US and many deal lower. Customer service/service has been the worst experience I ever had. As military member I have conducted business all over the US and many dealerships but none as terrible as this one. I also like to establish that I have never wrote a negative review before since I like to see the positive side of everything. First, I own a 2013 Dodge Durango Citadel. I made an apt to get my seat belt fix and re-align the lift gate which all was covered by the warranty. My apt was at 9am and I arrived at 8:45am. I was told to wait in line for the next available agent. Then this man (sorry I don't have his name) came and got me out of the line and asked me about my apt. He then checked the computer and told me that the rep that I had my apt quitted the day before but he will find someone to help me. The man took off and 5 minutes later came back and said that I had to stay in the line and wait. Then he came back, got me out of the line again and said that he will find someone to help, not true, he came back and I ended up on the line again. at this point it is about 9;30am and finally get my car checked in. Because the work involved warranty work, the service rep took pictures in order to submit for approval. Three hours later I received a phone call that my car was ready. went to pick it up and I was notified that they have to order the seat belt and the car needed to be sent to the collision shop to align the lift gate. I decided to take my car and get bot things done on the same day. I waited for a week and a half when I finally decided to call and check on the status of the part. For my surprise, I found out that the part has not been ordered at all and they were going to order at that moment. They received the part the next day and I received a phone call to set up an apt. after dropping off my car on Tuesday morning (7am) we received a phone call from the collision shop stating that it will cost $75 to fix the lift gate. I then mentioned that this work was supposed to be covered by the warranty. He responded that there was no paperwork and/or request for that and they need to submit a request. I mentioned that the previous agent took pictures and supposed to submit the request 3 weeks ago. GUESS WHAT? THIS NEVER GOT DONE! This process took about 2 day to process and took the shop 2 hours to fix the liftgate. Finally received a phone call that my car is ready for pick up on Friday afternoon. At this point I can not wait to get my car and leave this dealership. It is important to mention that i also requested for the oil to be changed using synthetic oil which cost me around $112 and suppose to give you 10K miles between oil changes. After checking my car I found grease all over the liftgate and no sticker with the next oil change date. I mentioned to the rep and he said upps sorry about that and proceeded to get a sticker. I asked him, How can I be sure that you guys change the oil and more importantly that you used synthetic oil as I paid for? He never answered my question and acted like he didn't care. I requested to speak to the manager and this guy names Chris showed up. I explained everything to him and all he said was "sorry to hear that" and took off. Once I arrived to my house, I checked the oil change sticker and has my next oil change schedule 3K miles later which lead me to think that they used regular oil but charge me for synthetic. Anyways, this was my experience with this dealership and it is up to you to make a decision on whether you use this dealership or not. More
I have never been a fan of car dealerships especially after our experience with Mossy Toyota BUT this dealership's service dept. is different. Last November we had to have our '97 Dodge transmission rep after our experience with Mossy Toyota BUT this dealership's service dept. is different. Last November we had to have our '97 Dodge transmission replaced and we've been dealing with them since. Sure their service reps may not meet all our expectations (unreasonable to expect perfection) but Pat Moran, the Service Manager sure has made a difference. We have had our share of issues, some even warranting a less than perfect rating BUT Pat Moran has proven to us he runs a honest and reputable service dept. Wish all auto dealerships would hire more employees with the integrity Pat Moran has. Sincerely, Anna More
My entire experience with Rancho Auto Group, from first telephone contact through driving off the lot in my new car, was completely positive. George Nohra was terrific to work with. He was extremely ki telephone contact through driving off the lot in my new car, was completely positive. George Nohra was terrific to work with. He was extremely kind and cheerful, worked VERY hard to make sure he found exactly the car I wanted--and I was very specific about what I wanted--made sure I got the best price possible, and spent time making absolutely sure I knew where/how to use all the new "bells and whistles" on the car before I drove it off the lot. I was in the market for a new car because my old car, which I had had for over 18 years and was in perfect condition, was "totaled" when it was rear-ended recently. I was upset about the loss of the car, and so George truly went out of his way to find me exactly what I wanted to replace it. He had to check with multiple dealerships to find the right color and combination of options in a new car for me, but he found the right car, and had it delivered overnight. I had been very inconvenienced by the loss of my car--I had been without a car for 2 weeks by the time I contacted Rancho Auto Group--and George went to work immediately to get me in the right new car. Less than 48 hours after I first spoke to George on the phone, I drove off the lot in my new car. Sergio Gonzalez, who handled all the financial paperwork, was also wonderful to work with. He was very polite and professional, explained the process and all the paperwork very clearly, and handled everything very quickly and efficiently. I was dreading the whole car buying business, but George and Sergio made the entire process--from start to finish--very pleasant. More
Walked in Rancho dodge with low expectations since I had been to a few dealerships that day and didn't have the best experience. Needless to say that my expectations were shattered by the friendly salesmen been to a few dealerships that day and didn't have the best experience. Needless to say that my expectations were shattered by the friendly salesmen and warm atmosphere . They gave me a very fair deal on my truck for trade and worked hard to get my budget price. I came in looking for certain things and Tony and Sebastian went out of their way to help me out . I would never expect that from a car dealership. I ended up getting 3k in trade for my old truck and walked away with a head turning black on black 2012 Ram express. Would recommend that if you are looking for a quality American made car go to Rancho Dodge , they will do you right. I'm glad I decided to go to them. I understand they are a business and need to be run as such, but they are very fair in their prices and incentives and you won't be disappointed. More

Sebastien was friendly and knowledgable and attentive. He was thorough and his follow up was outstanding. He maintained an attitude throughout the sales process that said "Let's make it happen." Althoug He was thorough and his follow up was outstanding. He maintained an attitude throughout the sales process that said "Let's make it happen." Although I referred several friends to this dealership after my 2011 lease, my experience with the 2012 lease, which was initiated by the Dealer, will make me very comfortable in telling other friends that this is an excellent dealership to do business with. And my recommendation will be highly based on the professionalism and friendliness of Sebastien Haber. Si Coleman More
Went to this dealership first looking for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and was assisted by Sebastien Habert. Sabastien was one of the most attentive, knowledgeable and likeable salesmen from whom Grand Cherokee Limited and was assisted by Sebastien Habert. Sabastien was one of the most attentive, knowledgeable and likeable salesmen from whom I have ever purchased a car, and I have purchased quite a number of new cars. Because I had a relatively new and expensive 2012 Ford Explorer Limited that I needed to trade if I was to buy a new Jeep from Rancho, the amount of the trade-in allowance was as important as the price of the car. After working with Sebastien for three days I finally decided, based on a reasonable trade-in allowance, an excellent price and a considerable amount of sales assistance from Sebastien to upgrade from a Limited to an Overland. Throughout this process wherein I did take a fair amount of Sebastien's time, he was extremely cordial and provided excellent ideas and follow-up that did in fact assist me in coming to the decision I ultimately came to. Because I was trading in a fairly new car, my decision time was extended while I contemplated the loss I was taking on the trade of my Explorer. Also, the sales manager JJ provided considerable assistance in this transaction and increased his offer to purchase my trade which also helped me make my final decision. My overall experience with this dealer and with my salesman Sebastien Habert was outstanding as was my experience with the sales manager JJ. I got a very fair overall transaction and was not pressed to make a decision at any time during my thinking process which included driving the car I purchased several times over three days. More
Sebastien Habert was an outstanding salesperson with whom to deal -- a breath of fresh air compared to other salespeople I've encountered. He took the time to explain every detail about the vehicle not once to deal -- a breath of fresh air compared to other salespeople I've encountered. He took the time to explain every detail about the vehicle not once but twice to accommodate a family member on a second visit. He was friendly and trustworthy. He was easy to negotiate with and made the whole process the most enjoyable cay buying experience I've had. Furthermore, Sebastien realized that he had not filled out my gas tank in the rush to prepare my vehicle for delivery late on a Saturday night, but called me first thing the next morning to apologize and offer a fill-up next time I am in the area. I thoroughly recommend Sebastian Habert at Rancho Chrysler. More
