Even though I have credit blemishes and was turned down I love my Go Mango Dodge Challenger from Rancho Dodge!! My salesperson Robert was spectacular. Even though I have credit blemishes and was turned down, and made to feel lesser than, by other dealerships. Robert treated me with dignity, respect and got me exactly what I wanted. There was no, how about this car instead? There was no bait and switch! There was no, well you need a large down payment. I got my dream car hassle free! Haggle free! Rebate were applied for my down! I would definitely recommend you go see ROBERT @ Rancho Dodge!l More
CARELESS or just DON'T CARE I bought a new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in October of last year. This vehicle is great! With that in mind, it still has several manufacturers' recall I bought a new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in October of last year. This vehicle is great! With that in mind, it still has several manufacturers' recalls. This SUV currently has 2,700 miles on it and has not even had its first oil change. Both times the vehicle has been in for recall service I made appointments and dropped the vehicle off on time, (as instructed by the 3 reminder Emails). Upon making the reservations, I asked how long the services would take and made arrangements for a shuttle. Both times their service advisor told me "no longer than 4 hours". Both times took 6 hours to complete "software upgrades". Both times I had to cancel my own personal work appointments which cost time and money. The service department asks that you be strictly on time, but they don't hold themselves to the same standard. DON'T even bother arranging a shuttle. That service is utterly useless! Spend the extra $ and call an Uber. After speaking with Service Manager Shon, I received a half assed apology. Don't waste your time going to Rancho Service Department PERIOD! I suggest you and your staff review your schedules in advance so you might actually be aware of the tasks they are supposed to perform that day. More
*UPDATED* Gave them 1 Star becuase you can't give them a 0! ** UPDATED ** While the start of this process started out not so well, I wanted to be fair in saying the completion was to MORE than my satisfaction. ** UPDATED ** While the start of this process started out not so well, I wanted to be fair in saying the completion was to MORE than my satisfaction. After we able to connect with Billy, everything went smoothly and quickly. I will be coming back for service. Kudos to a company that makes the extra effor to ensure and unhappy customer gets excellent service and leaves happy. I have updated my review to show that they did do a very good job. ******* Took my car in 2 days ago. At the time we waited 20 minutes while 6 service members walked around inside the office and not one asked us if we were being helped. Still, like a fool, I gave them my car. Since then I have tried to find out what is wrong with my car. To day I have made 7 phone calls. I have been disconnected, promised my service rep Billy will call me back, put on hold, put through where the line rings with no voice mail. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service. If you have to take your car for service. Go somewhere else. Find somewhere where customer service is a priority, because it is not here. I still have no answers, no rental car, nothing but frustration. More
Shop Elsewhere 4 months ago on April 26, 2016 I bought a used 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from Rancho Chrsysler Jeep Dodge to the tune of about $35,000. 4 months ago on April 26, 2016 I bought a used 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from Rancho Chrsysler Jeep Dodge to the tune of about $35,000. The sales process was normal with few complaints, Enrique was great. When in Finance signing for and taking delivery of the vehicle the associate was on his iphone far more worried about the results in the Presidential Primaries taking place that day. During that time, he was very quick to get rid of me, rude, and later to find out had no attention to detail. He had put the incorrect address on my DMV paperwork. I caught this myself a few days later and was able to get it corrected. This could have been a nightmare. After signing for the vehicle I was provided only one key with this purchase. These are the newer electronic keys and are very expensive to replace if lost, 1 key is unacceptable. The sales Manager Sergio said 1 key is "industry standard with a used vehicle purchase". 1 key is anything but standard when spending $35,000 dollars at a dealership. After a few weeks of getting nowhere with Sergio, I sent an email to the GM and the next day I had a new key at no cost. Thank you for finally stepping up, however it is very unfortunate this had to be escalated for resolution. Not long ago I was reviewing the documents and noticed The Carfax for this vehicle shows on 04/15/2016 "Offered for sale as a Jeep Certified Pre-Owned Vehcile" "Certification Includes: Up to 7 Year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty 3-month/3,000-mile Maximum Care Warranty" However I received NO WARRANTY, and the customer relations manager Debbie Boor has done nothing but avoid my requests for information on this matter. Just yesterday and the final straw, the reason I am finally writing this... I had reached 5k miles since purchasing, so I performed an oil change. When removing the oil filter from its canister atop the engine compartment my friend also a Jeep owner immediately noticed the pressure relief valve which apparently is a little spring and plastic retainer was missing. With the relief valve missing I'm told my Jeep has basically been running unfiltered oil throughout the engine. The last several oil changes according to Car Fax were done at RANCHO CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE. I am very thankful I had my friend present, as I wouldn't have known otherwise. Now my Jeep sits in the driveway, and it is estimated the repair will cost somewhere near $600-800 at the dealership. This dealership is the epitome of a shady half rate dealership. My situation alone shows carelessness in more than one department. There are plenty of Jeep dealers in San Diego, which offer the same vehicles, at similar cost. Spare yourself the bad experience and shop elsewhere. More
Family vehicle We bought our Dodge Durango here for our growing family. Julio was very helpful, he didn't pressure us and was very patient and thoughtful to our needs. All of the staff was great, one of the ladies even took to my daughter and kept her some company while we were talking to Julio making decisions. We were going for a more expensive car and ended up getting one cheaper but he didn't try to pressure us to get the more expensive option. More
Poor customer service; go elsewhere! I took my van to Rancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge for service that was covered under the manufactory warranty. Overall, the experience left much to be desir I took my van to Rancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge for service that was covered under the manufactory warranty. Overall, the experience left much to be desired. However, when scheduling the appointment the women I talked to were very courteous and helpful even when I had to move the day and time. Problem #1: When scheduling I was told that the shuttle runs on the hour every hour so I scheduled my appointment for 0930 knowing that I should be checked in and ready to leave by 10. I had my two small children(2 y/o and an infant) with me so I was hoping for as little of a wait as possible. Once I was checked in (0945) I went to the lobby to wait. At 1015 I asked an associate when the shuttle was coming because I had already been waiting a half hour. She also kindly asked someone and I was told that it runs every hour on the half hours and the next one would go at 1030. For such a large dealership you would think they would be able to run multiple shuttles as needed for their customers. Problem #2 When I was being checked in with my service consultant, Joey Cruz, I was informed by him that my van would be ready by the next day (Thursday). They would look at it that day (Wednesday) and order the needed part which should arrive by Thursday morning and I would be able to take it home the next day. So, I arranged with a friend to take me to the dealership Friday morning to get my van. When I called on Thursday afternoon to make sure my van would be ready the next morning I was told by Joey that it wouldn’t be ready until end of day Friday. This wouldn’t have been a problem if I had been given a phone call at any point prior to this. However, after leaving the dealership I was never phoned about any diagnostic results or anticipated wait time for my van. Despite the fact that on my Pre-Service Write-Up my “Promise Contact Time” was for Wednesday at 1:15pm. If I had not called myself to check on my van I would have not known that it wouldn’t be ready. I called back to talk to a manager and was put through to a voicemail. I called back again and asked to talk to someone who was actually there. I explained my situation to this gentleman who was unable to do anything for me except leave a note for Joey to call me in the morning by 0730. If I hadn’t heard from him by that time I was given a direct number to call this man back. Problem #3 I was not called on Friday by 0730. I called the “direct number” that I was given the prior evening and it sent me to a voice mail. I then had to call the dealership and ask to talk to a manager again. Once again, the manager only said that he would pass my message along to Joey. In no way was this helpful. Joey called me and said that the van would be ready by day end but could not give me a solid time. He said he would call when he knew something better. He offered the shuttle as transportation, but after my first shuttle experience I did not want to deal with it again with two small children. My husband is currently deployed and obviously unable to help with transportation. Joey called me at 330 and said my van would be ready in an hour. I confirmed by saying “So, it will be ready by 430” and he said “yes, 430 would be good”. Problem #4 After arriving at exactly 430 I went inside to sign any papers and have my van brought around. It felt as if I was bothering Joey more than anything in all of my dealings with him. I got my papers and went outside with my toddler (a neighbor offered to watch my infant) to wait for my van to be brought around. Joey said “it’s in the wash bay and they’re bringing it around” when I had arrived. 15 minutes later no van and no one to explain why I was still waiting. I went back inside and inquired about my van. Joey said that they were “bringing it around” and he was “having them do a courtesy wash for me and if I want it wet then he would get it now”. I said that I just wanted my vehicle because I had my son with me and we had already waited 15 minutes. A manager said he would go check on it. Finally, my van was brought around. The woman who got out of it said “they didn’t even wash it”. That woman went inside as I took the keys and got my toddler into his car seat. During that time, no one came out to apologize for my wait or offer any explanation. So, essentially, Joey had no idea what was happening with my van and never looked into it once I had arrived and if I hadn’t inquired I could have been waiting indefinitely for my van to “be pulled around” because it was “being washed”. Problem #5 After finally getting home I realized that I was given the wrong paperwork regarding the maintenance done on my van. Not only was it not accurate it was for another customer’s work. So I now have someone’s name, address, telephone number, vehicle with VIN number because my paperwork wasn’t checked before it was handed to me. The customer service at RCJD left MUCH to be desired. I will never bring my vehicle here again and if I need service completed. I would rather drive further from my house to find a friendlier dealership who cares more about their customers. Additionally, I would NEVER recommend to anyone to go here. I’m giving them 2 stars rather than 1 since I have not had any problems with my van since the work was completed. More
Bought my fourth car from Rancho Breen Gaghan. Ask for him and tell him what you want. Hassle free no BS. Tell him Jim sent ya ?? He is sort of a Ram / Chrysler nerd. He can spout of Breen Gaghan. He can spout off all kinds of specs right off the top of his head and that was very useful to me in finding the best value. More
If you're looking for a good sales person, look elsewhere I tried to get three different sales people to help me with a 2016 Chrysler lease. All three said they would get back to me and never did. I actually I tried to get three different sales people to help me with a 2016 Chrysler lease. All three said they would get back to me and never did. I actually met with two different sales people in the dealership (I was upsold to the sales manager,) and both made all kinds of promises that they would research the car I was looking for and get back in touch. The third sent me an email and called me but never bothered to follow up. Very poor sales team! The sales department of this dealership has definitely gone down hill. More
warranty and recall work Service department appears to be focused on just throughput instead of customer service. Brought my vehicle in for recall and warrantee work, long st Service department appears to be focused on just throughput instead of customer service. Brought my vehicle in for recall and warrantee work, long story short; parts weren't properly reinstalled on vehicle, and the ran my vehicle onto another when moving it. Gave them benifits of doubt to make it right, going on 30 days and no phone call. Filing complaint with mopar now. More
I could not be any happier with my experience at Rancho!! I have been shopping around for my Jeep Rubicon for about a year now and had a very specific list of Wants and Do Not Wants based on how I planned I have been shopping around for my Jeep Rubicon for about a year now and had a very specific list of Wants and Do Not Wants based on how I planned on using the Jeep (off roading). Charles very patiently listened, took notes, and got to work. After more than a few tries over several days, we found the PERFECT Jeep! It was exactly what I wanted - the catch was it was in Las Vegas. His teammate, Joelle, volunteered to pick it up! I couldn't even believe the kind of service they offered me here! They went above and beyond for me! I know I was picky and way too excited about getting behind the wheel, and they made it all happen for me - start to finish! I am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism. I never once felt any pressure or obligation to buy or made to feel like I had to settle for something I didn't want. I can't say enough amazing things about Joelle, Charles, and Rancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge!! Thank you!! More
